Indoor swimming pool in Luhacovice - Preparation and organization of object construction
Čapek, Ladislav ; Hanzelková, Martina (referee) ; Šlanhof, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the solution of selected parts of the the construction technology project of the town covered swimming pool in Luhačovice. The project includes engineering report, design site equipment and crane, technological instruction for drilled pile and piled wall, supervisory and test plans. For the substructure deals with building noise and noise protection. Next it deals with the itemized budget of the gross building and detailed time plan.
The providing of decontamiantion pit for the environmental purposes
Bůžková, Eliška ; Lokos, Jan (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
As the trend in environmental care grows, the emphasis on removing the old environmental burdens is bigger. This thesis is dedicated to the case when the soil was contaminated by products of gas industry in the area of Jihomoravská plynárenská, a.s. in Brno - Zábrdovice . The aim of this work is to select the appropriate remediation technology and shoring remediation pit in mentioned locality. Diploma thesis also includes design and assessment of selected construction sheeting calculated by the method of dependent pressures, technology design and implementation of construction drawings.
Sheeting of foundation pit
Šajuk, Mykola ; Kliš, Lumír (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis describes the design and static assessment of the excavation of the construction pit realized for the construction of the Homole tunnel of the D35 Ostrov – Vysoké Mýto highway section. The introductory part of the work summarizes the basic input information about the location of interest, including the outputs of the engineering-geological survey, and provides an overview of the possibilities of securing construction pits. The core part of the work describes the design, assessment and economic evaluation of three selected variants of the stocking, subsequent evaluation of the results of the selection of the most suitable variant. The resulting structure is supplemented with drawing documentation, which is part of the annex.
Design of sheeting on a excavated section of tunnel on a high-speed line Brno-Přerov
Umlauf, Jiří ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Miča, Lumír (advisor)
In first part of the thesis are proposed four variants of retaining structures for deep excavation of cut-and-cover tunnel part. It is nailed slope, pile wall, nailed slope in combination with pile wall and soldier pile wall. For those structures is in following part carried out an economic analysis and the most cost effective variant is chosen. Chosen structure is further analyzed in next part. This analysis is carried out with finite element method in software PLAXIS. As a material model is chosen Hardening Soil model and input parameters were determined by empiric formulas from literature. Behavior of neogene clays, in which is the structure designed, is considered as undrained, by type Undrained A. In the last part of the thesis is described technological procedure of construction this retaining structure.
Analysis of slope prone to sliding
Píchová, Sylvie ; Erbenová, Alexandra (referee) ; Paseka, Antonín (advisor)
The diploma thesis illustrates landslide investigation, geophysical and engineering-geological landslide survey and landslide stability reconnaissance. Static calculations based on FEM were performed in the GEO5 program. A back analysis of the landslide mathematical model was executed, which resulted in the reliability of the static landslide assessment. The complicated stabilization construction of the pile and micropile walls were optimized by mathematical modeling of successive phases of construction. The method of execution of construction work during the landslide rehabilitation was designed as well as the dimensions of reinforcing structures.
Comparison of two alternatives of deep excavation design
Krejzar, Vojtěch ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The thesis focuses on numerical modeling of a 30 m deep excavation using the finite element method (FEM). The excavation is situated in Luzern, Switzerland. The subsoil is formed by inclined sandstone or siltstone layers; one of them tends to form a dangerous slip surface. The bachelor’s thesis compares 2 alternatives: Alternative A represents a combination of an anchored pile wall and sprayed concrete in the lower part of the excavation, Alternative B represents a full height anchored pile wall. The thesis comprises of the description of modeling, determination of material parameters and structural members’ inputs, defines calculation phases and predicts the structure deformations. The mathematical model is created using PLAXIS 2D software.
Securing the pit in over-consolidated clay
Svobodová, Nikola ; Chalmovský, Juraj (referee) ; Miča, Lumír (advisor)
Text of an abstract. The aim of the Bachelor’s thesis is design and assessment of the supporting "hypothetical" excavation pit in Neogene Brno clay. The pit is situated near the swimming stadium Za Lužánkami, where subsoil is formed this type of soil. This area is also marked as landslide area. In the first part of the thesis evaluation of the geological and geotechnical conditions is presented. Design and evaluation of the selected supporting system (two times anchored pile wall) cross-section to fulfill the Ultimate Limit State and Serviceability Limit State is described in the third part. The computational program GEO5 Sheeting Design was used to determination of required embedded depth of the wall, number of anchors and internal forces. The assessment of the first limit state of the construction was made partly by hand and partly with the help of the software application. The determination of horizontal movements of pile wall was performed via GEO5 Sheeting Assessment. External stability was analyzed using GEO5 Stability. The last section gives description of the technological construction plan.
Stabilization of landslide on road embankment
Kořínková, Jana ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Doněk, Michal (advisor)
The topic of this Master`s thesis is to design stabilization of road embankment, which is between Brno-Chrlice and Brno-Holásky. Aim of this thesis is finding acceptable solution of problem including finding cause of fault and describing other possible options. Solution will be design in GEO5. Thesis is completed with procedure in pile installation and drawing documentation.
Design of deep excavation on the street Provaznikova
Koudelková, Ivana ; Svoboda,, Petr (referee) ; Miča, Lumír (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the design and static assessment carried shoring excavation pit for the construction of a multifunctional building in Brno Husovice. Introductory part summarizes the basic input information on the area of interest, including outputs of engineering-geological survey and gives an overview of the options pits.
