The main aim of the thesis is the design of a seating element dedicated to interior. The first theoretical part is focused on the historical development of the session, typology, ergonomics and problems arising from incorrect long-term sitting. Furthermore, the safety and dynamics of the seat element are emphasized. The second part of the thesis includes the design of the balancing chair, which is presented by sketches, visualization and technical drawings. In conclusion, there is a detailed description of the creation of a functional prototype.

The thesis deals with the design of a seating element with a focus on healthy sitting. This sitting is by tilting the seat so that the spine is deflected correctly. The seating element is designed for use in the so-called semi-sitting semi-seat, ie using a higher, sometimes inclined table. The work has two parts. The first one focuses on theory, history, sitting issues, ergonomics and the influence of sitting on human health. The second practical part deals with the design, searches, stages of the seating element such as sketching, 3D modeling, production of the working model, seating test and finally production of the functional sample. The result is a seating design that allows a healthy sitting.

The subject of this diploma thesis is the structural solution design of folding garden furniture, namely furniture for outdoor use. This solution ensures easy handling when keeping furniture away from bad weather or when not using it during the winter season. Specifically, this is an armchair assembly with a footstool. The armchair has the possibility of positioning the backrest. The furniture is complemented by a dining table for two people and a side table in order to achieve a pleasant stay in the exterior. This design solution was created to fulfill the requirements of a particular company and its production possibilities. The very solution is based on the current range of corresponding garden furniture in the actual European market. Further knowledge was needed in the field of anthropometry, ergonomics, furniture design and material information. The design solution is supported by the standards and technical and safety requirements. The work is supplemented by the drawing documentation, bill of materials, economic evaluation of the material costs and visualizations.

This bachelor thesis deals with the principle of designing and furnishing of a kids room and leads to a design of a boyish room. The theoretical part of the thesis aims at the historical background of the furnishing of a kids room, its relation to the child development and raises requirements on particular child development stages. Further, the effects of space, lighting, colors and accessories on human mind are mentioned. The emphasis is given to the cooperation of parents and their children during the furnishing process, importance of participation of each of the parts in the furnishing process is discussed. The practical part describes the design of a kids room for pre-scholar, young scholar and adolescent ages and the design of a tabouret.

This thesis pursues the design of sales counter constructional solution. It follows the terms and conditions entered by the contracting party and meets the requirements of applicable standards including safety requirements. The theoretical part of the work deals with the constructed interiors and its environment problematics, anthropometry, ergonomics, equipments, range of products of the stores and materials. Furthermore, it processes current similar solutions by a search, including its evaluation according to given criteria. The design of the constructional solution itself is processed as production drawing documentation with bill of materials, visualizations including economic evaluation.

This master thesis deals with the study and design of upholstered seating for interior use. It consists of two parts. The theoretical part covers the history of seating, typology, anthropometry and ergonomy. Furthermore, it describes the requirements for the construction of furniture, creation of upholstery and for safety. The practical part of this work describes the design process inspired by natural structures and the construction of a prototype. First, my research on existing pieces of furniture inspired by nature is presented. This is followed by an introduction to my design in the form of sketches and visualizations. Next, the selection of a manufacturer for the creation of a prototype is described. The final product is presented with photographs of the prototype. Finally, participation and results from competitions are presented.

The master‘s thesis introduces a design of a multipurpose chest of drawers with an emphasis on its modularity. In the theoretical section, the current state of knowledge on the topic is summarized. Overview of a design of the chest of drawers, multifunctional and modular furniture, terminology, ergonomics and norms related to proposed functions are presented. The applied section offers design of the multipurpose chest of drawers that proposes a function of a work table as well as an open storage space. The design was created in compliance with the outlined theory. The outcome of presented work consists of series of visualisations created with the graphic program 3DS Max, technical documentation and constructed prototype.

The bachelor's thesis deals with living of wheelchair users, meeting the requirements of disabled for interior and lastly the suggestion of interior intended fordisabled people. The work consists of two parts. The first one, practical, focuseson the definition of disability, the ergonomic of wheelchair users and their requirement to interior. Other areas are also covered namely organizations helpingdisabled people, living allowances and companies producing suitable furniture. In the practical part three variants of flats are designed which differ in their area. One of those models is further described with its project documentation meeting the requirements of disabled people. The outcome of this bachelor's thesis is the visualization of respective flat using corresponding scale.

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of growing children's bed. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to create a design for a growing baby bed for children between the ages of 0 and 7 and the subsequent possible use as a desk that will respect the normative requirements of all three groups. In the theoretical part, the author gives a look at historical solutions, contemporary solutions and the relationship between materials and technology. The practical part of the diploma thesis will be the design of a growing child's bed, respecting the requirements of the normative and questionnaire surveys. The result of the thesis will be not only the design and technical drawings in the CAD program, but also the BOM and direct quantification of material costs for the product.
