Renewable energy sources in CR
Pokorný, Tomáš ; Chroboczek, Libor (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
Renewable energy sources in CR with a view to small water power plants. Bachelor's thesis of common bachelor studies of 3th years. This bachelor's thesis is technical literature search. The contents of this search is an analysis of a mechanical equipment of that are used for small water power plants, analysis of history and present state of exploitations water sources and display of elementary performance calculations for a given locality.
Reneweblw energy source at Slovakia
Szegedi, Peter ; Borbély, Richard (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is divided into five main issues. The first issue is dealing with history of exploitation of water as a power supply in Slovakia and is describing current situation of exploitation of watercourses. The next part of the thesis is describing a present condition of power industry in Slovakia, its future perspective and a possibility of deriving benefit from the most perspective renewable resources of energy. The essential issue handles with water power stations ant its description. The last capture is focused on small hydroelectric power stations and technic – economical evaluation of three concrete SHPS. The conclusion is attending to short overview of information obtained by writing the bachelor thesis and to author’s own estimation of development of renewable energy sources situation in Slovakia.
The storage water plants problem appreciation
Archalous, Jakub ; Himr, Daniel (referee) ; Sloupenský, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the use of hydropower. It gives an overview of hydroelectric plants and describes mechanisms that convert water energy into electric energy. The most attention is paid to the principle and operation of pumped storage power plants and the machinery used there. Also the efficiency of the pumping cycle at Dlouhe Strane power plant is calculated.
Pump storage station
Šimek, Petr ; Sloupenský, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kubálek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the functions of hydro-power plants, describes the various machinery and their distribution according to the parameters of use. Outlines the calculation in the design of hydraulic machines. There are also descriptions of machine layout and their use in praktice. For the particular case, there is prepared hydro power plant Dlouhé stráně. Related topic that is included here, the electricity system and the daily load diagram.

FSI VUT in Brno, institute of energy, department of energy and proces equipment, December 2007. This project, which has been elaborated in frame ofbachaleor's studies department of energy and proces equipment is submitting the desing of Small hydro power plant. Contains of this work is recherche small hydro power plants, count existing SHP, optimalization and evaluation of operation.
Adaptation of the Watermill
Pavlík, Jan ; Hudec, Martin (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is composed of two parts. In the first part, there is a generally discourse about small water power plants, their structural design, mechanical equipment and economical efficiency and its function is to create the basic conception of the waterwork. The second one deals concretely with the small water power plant in Crhov, that was rebuilt from the original mill by Mr. Petr König in 1990s.
Study of small hydro power plant on the brook in the locality of Zmrhal pond
Chromý, Hynek ; Špano,, Miroslav (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
The goal of the work is to find suitable soulition for a small water plant in kontinuity of a projekt of damaged dam repair
Contactless Measuring Method of Blade Vibration during Increasing Turbine Operational Speed
Procházka, Pavel ; Vaněk, František ; Cibulka, Jan ; Bula, Vítězslav
A novel method for contactless measurements of turbine blade vibration during increasing or decreasing operational speed is presented. The method is based on the evaluation the time differences of blade tips passing along contactless sensors placed on the stator, and the substitution data correction using a numerical model. The method has been verified both numerically and experimentally. For the experimental research on the model bladed wheel of the Institute of Thermomechanics and subsequent applications in operating conditions, two new types of sensors functioning on the magnetoresistive and induction principle have been developed.
The Measurement of Vibration of Low-Pressure Rotor Blades on TG2 ETE part 1,2 , VYZ/TZ 56/97
Procházka, Pavel ; Vaněk, František
The report contains the results of the design and implementation of a contactless vibrodiagnostic system for monitoring low-pressure turbine blades vibration of TG2 NPP Temelin. Results of the trial operation of the system are included.
The Measurement of Vibration of Low-Pressure Rotor Blades on TG2 ETE part 3, VYZ/TZ 56/107
Procházka, Pavel ; Vaněk, František
The report extends the results of the design and implementation of a contactless vibrodiagnostic system for monitoring low-pressure turbine blades vibration of TG2 NPP Temelin. The results of measurements, including start-up turbine performance, are summarized and discussed.
