Testování polovodičových detektorů typu DEPFET
Malina, Lukáš ; Kodyš, Peter (advisor) ; Doležal, Zdeněk (referee)
DEPFET pixel detectors were developed more than 20 years ago and they are still being improved, for example on Belle II experiment in Japan. In this thesis we studied the properties of readout cycle of detector matrix and the movement of counted hit positions close to the edges of DEPFET matrix, the which is reffered to as edge effect. The main goal of this work was to familiarize with particle detectors and their principles, especially with DEPFET matrices, to set up laser test system and to write ROOT macro for measurement automatization, run the measurement and analyze obtained data. For this purpose we used red 3 nanosecond long laser pulses, moving stages with very fine step and two connected pulse generators. As a result, the voltage between the outer ring and the inner part of the detector active area was optimalised, the edge effect was reduced by a factor of 2. The time properties of readout cycle, the time period of charge clearing and the time in which is the matrix read out, have been found.

Sociálné vzťahy medzi oboma pohlaviami u paviánov dželada (Theropithecus gelada) v Zoo Zlín - Lešná
Baholet, Daria
Geladas baboons are the only representatives of the Old world monkeys. Manifestations of life and social relationships between animals are still not very explored. Therefore, this work focuses on a group of seven animals living in captivity in Zoo Zlin-Lešná. The observation focused on key social needs such as gathering food, exercise, rest, comfort behavior, sexual behavior, aggression and play. The observation started in the spring of 2014, was done in five observations. Results of observations are processed in the last part of the bachelor thesis using etograms and graphs. The observed activities were recorded in this representation: the largest part occupies the collection of food 44.2%. Further grooming 24.6%, observation of surroundings 10.4% and 8.1% movement. Followed by rating in 7.7%, manifestations of sexual behavior 2.3%, playing 1.7% and climbing trees 0.5%. The least represented is aggressive behavior 0.07%. The results observed on gelada baboons in Zoo Zlín-Lešná and approximately coincides with the prior knowledge of this kind

Evaluate of individual and groups abilities in a football game
Nosek, Tomáš ; Buzek, Mario (advisor) ; Kokštejn, Jakub (referee)
Title: Evaluate of individual and groups abilities in a football game. Objectives: Determine the level of playing skills of players of the Czech and Spanish teams in terms of older products based on video games and of course the video draw results. Methods: For this work I used the observational method is based on observation, namely the method of indirect observation. From the observation results and draw converts them via text and graphs in your Bachelor thesis. Results: In the assessment of individual gaming activities in terms of games I have concluded that between Czech and foreign team are significant differences not only in gaming activities in the adult soccer, but they are apparent already in the youth categories. Perhaps the biggest differences between the earlier of SK Slavia Praha and Espanyol Barcelona in passes I noticed, in personal combat, while the overall movement in the field. Keywords: Football, older prep school, age-specific features, gaming performance, younger pupils

The role of dipeptidyl peptidase-IV and homologous proteases in migration and invasion.
Fejfarová, Edita ; Rösel, Daniel (referee) ; Bušek, Petr (advisor)
Migration and invasion are processes which naturally occur in organism during embryogenesis, immune reactions or wound healing. These processes are very important factors in some serious diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and carcinogenesis. There is no doubt about contribution of proteases in these processes-many of them degrade extracellular matrix and thereby facilitate the movement of cells. While dipeptidylpeptidase-IV cleaves solely two amino acids from N-terminus so it is not considerably involved in ECM degradation. DPPIV and its homologues recognize peptides with proline on penultimate position, which causes resistance to ordinary types of proteases. Substrates of DPPIV and its activity homologues include chemokines implicated in signalling of migration - their cleavage and thus inactivation present DPPIV and DPPIV-like molecules as modulators of cell migration signalling in choriocacinoma, neuroblastoma, on Sézary cells or epithelial cells migrating in response to injury. Another activity of some DPPIV-like proteases is binding to the extracellular matrix proteins, when are helping in the attachment of cells and thus affect the migratory ability of the cells like ovarian cancer cells, prostate cancer cells, melanoma cells or kidney cells. Effects on migration and invasion have also...

Extending Partial Representations of Graphs
Klavík, Pavel ; Kratochvíl, Jan (advisor) ; Fiala, Jiří (referee)
In this thesis, we study geometric intersection representations of graphs. For a fixed class, the well-known recognition problem asks whether a given graph belongs to this class. We study a generalization of this problem called partial representation extension. Its input consists of a graph with a partial representation, so a part of the graph is pre-drawn. The problems asks whether this partial representation can be extended to a representation of the entire graph. We study this problem for classes of interval graphs, proper interval graphs, unit interval graphs and chordal graphs (in the setting of subtrees-in-tree representations). We give linear-time algorithms for the first two classes and an almost quadratic-time algorithm for unit interval graphs. For chordal graphs, we consider different versions of the problem and show that almost all cases are NP-complete. Even though the classes of proper and unit interval graphs are known to be equal, the partial representation extension problem distinguishes them. For unit interval graphs, it poses additional restrictions concerning precise positions of intervals, and we describe a new structure of unit interval representations to deal with this. 1

KAM-DIMATIA Series 2004-685 and ITI Series 2004-206. Two algorithms for general list matrix partitions
Sgall, Jiří ; Feder, T. ; Hell, P. ; Králď, D.
List matrix partitions are restricted binary list constraint satisfaction problems which generalize list homomorphisms and many graph partition problems arising, e.g., in the study of perfect graphs. Most of the existing algorithms apply to concrete small matrices, i.e., to partitions problems, provide algorithms for their solution, and discuss their implications.

A comparison of condition for the providing of building loans at different mortgage banks within the Czech Republic
GRYCOVÁ, Jana
The aim of this thesis is to compare conditions of providing mortgage by three commercial banks in the Czech Republic. Following bank institutions have been chosen for the comparison: Komerční banka, a.s. (Commercial Bank OJSC), Raiffeisenbank, a.s. (Raiffeisenbank OJSC) and Československá obchodní banka, a. s. (Czechoslovak Commercial Bank OJSC). The comparison has been made according to given criteria, which has shown how particular offers differ. In addition, the comparison has been performed on three model samples. The chosen banks have created indicative offers of mortgage loans for given data. Finally, the comparison has been drawn on the basis of these offers with the help of charts and graphs and the most convenient from the point of view of a client bank has been chosen.

Performance tests warm-blood stallions and their evalaution
BÚDOVÁ, Alena
The bachelor´s work deals with the performance tests of warm-blooded stallions and their evaluation. The progress and result of testing performance of warm-blooded stallions in the Czech Republic is analysed in the bachelor's work. The methods of testing stallions are described in the text. The stallions are evaluated under the mare. They can be placed into tested breeding. They have to meet the requirements for granting a pre-selection of stallions into breeding. Then they have to complete a 70day-long test and a performance test successfully. They are evaluated according to competitions for young horses and according to their sports performance. Their offspring are tested. The share of each foreign breeds in the Czech Republic is described in the work. Their testing in neighboring countries in selected breeders associations is described, too. The data were drawn from the records of the Czech warmblood breeders association, Central registry of horses and Czech equestrian federation. It was compiled into tables, graphs and then evaluated in the program Statistica. In the end of the work it was found out, that the number of mares reduces (245 mares less per year in average) and the number of newborn foals is reducing too (average of 139 per year) in the Czech Republic. 354 stallions were placed into tested breedings in the years from 2009 to 2013. From this period only 6 stallions finished the 70-day-long test successfully. The Czech warmblood breed still has the largest number of participants in the pre-selection and the performance test after the 70-day-long test. Every year in the Czech Republic the number of participants and numbers of starts in showjumping and dressage competitions are increasing.

A comparison of the Contact and HRQOL concept in clients of nursing/old people´s homes
BÍLKOVÁ, Marie
This dissertation concerning the theme "A comparison of the Contact and HRQOL concept in clients of nursing/old people´s homes" consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part firstly defines in detail the concept of the quality of life and the quality of life related to health (HRQoL ? health related quality of life). It also describes various methods of its evaluation. The next charter deals with the problems of aging and changes which arise with increasing age and are associated with a deteriorating health condition, as well as with situations and circumstances which may reset in a chase in the perception of the quality of life. The dissertation takes a closer look at the stay of elderly in some institutions for the elderly. The theoretical part compares the results obtained from elderly clients in an old people?s home using standardised SF-36 and Contact questionnaires. The SF-36 questionnaire is designed to measure the quality of life related to health and the Contact questionnaire serves to ascertain the frequency of contact between family and friends ant he elderly client. Data from both questionnaires were evaluated statistically and drawn up in the form of tables and graphs. This research showed a reduced perception of the quality of life of clients living in old people?s homes compared with the standard European population. In most domains of the quality of life there was no significant difference between clients with various frequency of contact with family and friends, and no difference was found n the evaluation of the quality of life between men and women.

Specifika péče o hřbitovní zeleň - analýza a návrh rekonstrukce plochy s ohledem na zachování provozní bezpečnosti na příkladu hřbitova v Trutnově
Pochobradský, Tomáš
This diploma thesis was carried out in the town cemetery in Trutnov. It includes literature review regarding this topic. Woody species, their health status, location in the cemetery and dendrologic potential assessment had been described in detail. To simplify the project, the area was divided into two parts called "North" and "South". The database of discovered defect crown, stem and root base defects for each woody species has been created. Plans for follow-up care have been drawn up. The plans propose management in the cemetery in the case of reconstruction or without. The results are presented in graphs and tables.
