Transfer of genetic potential for reproduction in sows production sector
NÝVLT, Vladimír
The purpose of this thesis was to describe the transfer of genetic potential of sows in production sphere and evaluate concrete results in reproduction breeding sows Agricultural Society Kosova Hora. On large-scale farrowing sows were evaluated Doublovičky basic herd of sows, which consisted of 440 to 520 pieces. sows. The basic herd always has been about 35 nucleic sows (P 1065). The rest of the herd was an offspring of hybrids F1 (C 1023) program the PIC. The sows P 1065 were investigated causes selecting progeny namely: 1) For lack of development, which was evaluated from birth to breeding gilts adulthood. 2) The number and formation of the teats. For breeding were required to at least 12. They can not be crater, but well formed to have good piglets suck breast milk from them. 3) Reproduction in gilts were evaluated after conception periodic (cyclic) heat. The minimum requirement for the first 8 piglets which are born alive. For the basic herd was evaluated the age structure. It was incorporated into three groups and evaluated that, the largest selection of sows was for lack of milk production, limb injuries, poor breeding condition and the possibility of further embedding. The largest selection of sows takes place after the third to fifth lactation.
Health assessment of the selected pig management
SKÁLOVÁ, Eva
Aim of the thesis is to evaluate health in selected pig stock. Adherence to vaccination programs and good veterinary prevention principles, provision of appropriate stall, good care and feeding, piglets wean timing, selection of breeding animals, choosing of reliable personnel and other factors have great impact on health in pig stock. Considering above mentioned factors, the aim of the thesis was to asses health of sows, piglets and fattening pigs in chosen farm Ponědraž ltd. and asses influence of vaccination on production in time period 2010 to 2011. Further it was neccesary to asses observance of good hygiene praxis in enterprise, including using of hygiene loop by personnel and to find out, if the enterprise is equiped with systematic protection against infectious diseases. To evaluate stall by pig categories, animal welfare and positive influence on health and increase of pig production as a whole. Further to asses compliance with EU legislation. Aim of the thesis is to evaleuate new vaccination scheme against respirational diseases, it´s influence on increase of production and improving of healt in observed stock. In the end are all above mentioned requirements evaluated.
The influence of the ionization on the air dustiness in the pig weaners
MATĚJKOVÁ, Eva
The observation was performed in brick building for the pig weaners. The stabling was created as group litter pens. The porkers was batten on fodder. The aim of the work was evaluationed microclimate of stable and the influence of the ionization on the air dustiness. The temperature, the relative humidity, the rapidity of atmospheric circulation, the cooling-down temperature and dustiness was measured in the pig house. The ionization was practised in stable and than was evaluation the influence of the ionization on the air dustiness. From the measurement was found out, that the ionization of the air was positive affect low particle concentration of dust. Effect of the ionization on the air was the highest during feeding-time.
The occurrence of Coccidiosis in the intestine of sucking pigs before and after weaning
KOTILOVÁ, Jiřina
In two years of observation, (spring 2006, autumn 2006, spring 2007 and autumn 2007) were being screened for parasites in total 495 faecal samples coming out of three farms from Ceske Budejovice (285 samples of sucking pigs not older then 28 days and 174 samples of piglets not older then 8 weeks). The method used to examine those samples was a flotation-concentrating method (Sheather{\crq}s carbohydrate fusion) and in the year of 2007 was also used a specific aniline-carbol-methyl violet staining method to detect the Cryptosporidium spp. followed by positive molecular characterized (direct sequencing of partial SSU rRNA partial genes and PCR-RFLP at the SSU rRNA). In screened samples were mainly detected parasites named Cryptosporidium spp., found in 4,1% of faecal samples in 2006 and in 2007 in 32,8% faecal samples, out of which 14,4% was found in pre-weaned piglets samples and 26,4% in post-weaned piglets. Based on genotyping provided on positive samples out of the year 2007, using method of sequensing analysis SSU rRNA, was the occurence of C. suis, Cryptosporidium pig genotype II aC. Muris described. High prevalence of Isosporou suis 13,9 % (64/459) was also detected with its appearance, in particular, in pre-weaned piglets 21,4 % (61/285). Further on, some of other identified group was Eimerie spp. 5,7 % (26/459) infecting, in the main, post-weaned piglets 10,9% (19/174) and Giardia intestinalis 2,4 % (10/459). Most of the samples mentioned occured in conditioned faeces and there is no seasonal relationship to the parasital occurance.
Influence of stable environment temperature on sucking-pigs health
PRŮŠOVÁ, Jitka
The aim of the work was determined impact of microclimatic parameters of stabling environment at percentage of pregnant sows, and at health of sucking and young growing pigs. In sucking and young growing pigs were founded weak positive correlation between stabling temperature and mortality of weaning pigs, and weak positive correlation in comparison to humidity. There were founded strong negative correlation between grow up temperature of the environment and percentage of success pregnant sows, and strong positive correlatin in relation to relative humidity. Influence of the cooling ability of the environment and air flow speed were lower than the impact of the temperature.
THE OCCURRENCE OF COCCIDIOSIS IN THE GUTS OF SUCKING PIGS BEFORE AND AFTER WEANING.
ČIVIŠOVÁ, Jana
In the whole, 487 samples have been collected from two farms in the Kladno region during the time periods as following: Autumn 2004, Winter 2005, Spring 2005,Autumn 2005, Winter 2006 and Spring 2006. For the investigation of the parasite presence in the dung the flotation-concentration method (Sheather sugar solution) and specific aniline {--} carbolic - methylviolet colouring according to Miláček and Vítovec (1985) with followed microscopy investigation at 200 - 400× magnification have been used. The infections caused by Cryptosporidium spp., Eimeria spp., Isospora suis, Giardia intestinalis, Trichuris suis, Ascaris suum and Strongyloides ransomi have been found in the samples. For the most part, the infection caused by Cryptosporidium spp. (19.1 %), Eimeria spp. and Isospora suis (5.2 %) have occurred in the breeds. Prevalence of the Giardia intestinalis flagellates have reached to 2.9 % and 5.4 % for nematodes Majority of the positive samples had solid consistency of the dung. The smallest occurrence of the parasites have been diagnosed in the winter 2005. On the contrary the greatest occurrence have been diagnosed in autumn 2005.
