Amperometric Solid-State NO2 Sensor with Ionic Liquid-Polymer Electrolyte
Nádherná, M. ; Opekar, F. ; Reiter, Jakub
A new ionic liquid-polymer electrolyte was successfully tested in the planar amperometric solid-state sensor sensitive towards nitrogen dioxide. The electrolyte consists of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMIPF6) and poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate (PEGMEMA) in the ratio 57:43 mol. %. The analyte, gaseous nitrogen dioxide in air, was determined using the electrochemical reduction at900 mV vs. Pt/air on gold minigrid indicating electrode with Pt/air as a reference electrode. Dependency of sensor sensitivity on the indicating electrode area and relative humidity was determined. The sensor response is linear in the NO2 concentration range 0.3 1.1 ppm and is reproducible and long-term stable.
Solute-Solvent Interaction in Systems of Ionic Liquids with Molecular Solvents.
Čanji, Maja
The goal of this study was to understand the interactions of ions and their interaction with molecular solvents such as water, methanol, acetone, etc. Saccharinate is a natural nontoxic anion, contributing to a relatively high viscosity of the ionic liquid. Application of highly viscous ILs can be difficult and can be overcome by mixing with some molecular solvents.

Study of Impurities and their Effect on the Physico-Chemical Properties of Ionic Liquids.
Rotrekl, Jan
The primary aim of the present study is to characterize thermophysically three novel ionic liquids 1-(2-(2ethoxyethoxy)ethyl)-3-alkylimidazolium with the bistriflate anion, where the alkyl stands for pentyl, isopentyl or neopentyl. For this purpose thermodynamic and transport properties such as density, heat capacity, electrical conductivity, and viscosity are studied.

This thesis deals with ionic liquids and use of ionic liquids as electrolytes in lithium-ion batteries. Thesis describes basic characteristics of secondary electrochemical cells and characteristics of ionic liquids. Thesis also describes modifications and measurement of ionic liquids. Thesis also presents the results of measurement conductivity and potential window of modified ionic liquids.
Membrane Separation of Racemic Mixtures
Kačírková, Marie ; Žitka, Jan ; Sysel, P. ; Storch, Jan ; Izák, Pavel
There were chosen three types of membranes with immobilizing chiral selector (AN-VImEt+L-Lactate40, SNCB6KIL5% and AN-VBCI-TPh(+)+L-Lactate(-)33). With these types is desirable to continue the investigation.

Měření a predikce pevné sloučeniny v systémech s iontovou kapalinou
Sedláková, Zuzana ; Sauton, H. ; Malijevská, I. ; Hynek, V.
In present time there is an increasing focus on ionic liquids. Solid-liquid equilibrium has been measured for ternary cuts in two organic systems. Systems were contained of carboxylic acid (acetic acid or propanoic acid) plus formamide plus ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-metylimidazolium chloride. Dissociation thermodynamics quantities were calculated for solid compounds from binary systems. Obtained estimation of the range of solid compounds was compared with experimental data.
