Services provided to users of the Children's Home in Kašperské Hory.
ŠTĚCHOVÁ, Marie
The children?s homes are a part of the school facilities for the institutional care. The institutions are responsible for care and education of abandoned children, if their own biological family is unable or unwilling to take care of them. Children are secured materially relatively well. But a problematic situation could arise at a time when young people leave the institutional care. The objective of researching in this bachelor?s thesis is to discover and learn more about the subjective attitudes of young users of The Children?s Home in Kašperské Hory, which cover the issue of leaving the institutional care and readiness to enter into their own independent life. The thesis is divided into two parts. First the theoretical part and the follow up research one. The theoretical part is composed of several chapters and related sub-chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the foster care. There I describe its basic forms, such as adoption, foster care and temporary foster care, guardianship and custody of child to the care of another person, other than a parent is. The second chapter deals with alternative institutional care and its most common forms. The third chapter is devoted to the leaving of children from the children?s home. Further there is a description of The Children?s Home in Kašperské Hory and projects that focus just on preparing for the leaving children from the institutional care. There are also described devices providing the accommodation of young people just after their staying in care. To carry out this investigation it was used a qualitative research, more precisely, the questioning method and a semi-structured interview technique. The group of respondents subjected to such talks, were young users of The Children?s Home in Kašperské Hory aged from 15 to 18 years including. Asked questions were structured into several groups according to these established areas the interviews were subsequently evaluated. The first set of questions was aimed at obtaining the essential information such as the age and the length of stay in the children?s home. The second range of issues mapped the area of education and training for the future profession Another area examined whether the users of the children?s home have access to financial funds and how they can handle with them. It was also found that about one third of them cannot manage properly with its limited financial resources. This was followed by questions to the relationships with their own biological family. The last and the most comprehensive set of questions concern the preparations for leaving the children?s home. It is absolutely clear that almost all respondents are not still ready to join the independent life. All interviewees agree that children?s home provides the necessary and sufficient services thanks to which the users gain some important skills to keep their homes. The statements also point to the fact that concerned young people have about their future virtually no ideas. About half of them do not know where or to whom they will go after leaving the institutional care. As well, almost each of the respondents was not interested in the possibility of emergency accommodation. There are many proposals to solve this issue in professional sources. The prevailing argument, which I am also a supporter, that the preparation for becoming independent should begin children?s homes as soon as possible, preferably at an early age. An important component of the preparation could be a so-called ?Individual planning for children?s homes users?. It means that each user could create a personal plan for current and future needs and plans. Last but not least, the training should also focus more on the training of practical skills such as handling finances, contracting or dealing with authorities.

Position of the Catholic Church towards the Law Regarding Comprehensive Schools
Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The influence of repeated defrosting on nutritional efficiency of Artemia salina nauplii for early developmental stages of fish
HULAN, Petr
Nutritional efficiency of deeply frosted and repeatedly defrosted zooplankton has not been totally clarified, and it is often questioned, however, the nutrients composition and effect of such deteriorated feed are missing. The aim of this study was to assess nutritional eddiciency of repeatedly defrosted nauplia Artemis salina, as well as changes in their chemical composition on the basis of the growth, survival and presence of the deformations in early ontogeny of Japanese medaka ( Oryzias latipes). The samples of fresh hatched artemia nauplii served as a control group. The experiment was carried out with samples of live nauplii, permanently frosted at -14°C, defrosted to 4°C and again frosted and defrosted to 25°C and frosted again. The larvae of medaka in the period of one week after shift to the exogenous nutrition were examined. Before the commencement of the experiment the composition of samples in terms of nutrient, amino acids and fatty acid contents was determined. The results proved that Oryzias latipes fed with live artemia not only grew better but also survived more that other fis in other treatments. No deformations were recorded Fish fed frozen food survived better than those fed with live Artemia. It was also found that fish fed live Artemia seems to be the highest however from the amino acid point of view it seems to be more appropriate to freeze it to -14°C, defreeze to 25°C and refreezing to -4°C. as for the fatty acids Artemia adjusted by the permanently freezing to -14°C. The processes of thawing and repeated freezing of artemia nauplii result in leaching of some nutrients but in the thickening of some others.

Kazdová, Hana ; Štenglová, Ivanka (advisor) ; Čech, Petr (referee)
71 Abstract Thesis, as the title suggests, is focused mainly on the liability of a contractor resulting from contracts for work concluded by parties in order to execute large industrial works. Capital construction is economically significant branch of industry both from national and international perspective. Czech law regulates capital construction, as far as private law is concerned, mainly by Commercial Code in it's articles dedicated to general regulation of contract for work. Capital construction requires sufficiently detailed contractual arrangements of mutual rights and obligations. Detailed arrangements concluded by parties are necessary due to the complexity, technical, technological, time, material, financial and personal demandingness of the subject matter of work along with long-term character of mutual relations and high risk of amendment of legislation. Thesis deals with usual arrangements of contracts concluded by parties in practice related to the liability of a contractor in capital construction. Besides the thesis displays the amount of risk the contractors bear and the scope of their liability in case of breach of the contracted obligations. The most important terms used in practice are described in the introduction of the thesis. These terms originate from formerly valid Economic Code,...
