Evolution of electrochemical methods: from virtual capabilities to virtual instruments
Dražan, Viktor
Progress in electrochemical methods is tightly bound with the development of electronics and instrumentation. Modern development environments allow one to create software for measurement control, data processing and modelling without deep knowledge of computer programming. Utilisation of one of those environments, the LabView, for modelling the results of adsorption kinetics measurement on mercury drop electrode will be demonstrated in the presentation.

Electrochemical behavior of alkali metal alcoholates on mercury
Heyrovský, Michael
In chemistry in general, and in organic chemistry and biochemistry in particular, sodium borohydride is a frequently used reducing agent of medium strength. If we follow the products of borohydride reduction by an electrochemical method, we may be surprised by the appearance on the polarization curves of current due to catalytic evolution of hydrogen.
