\kur{In-situ} available phosphorus in forest soils of Bohemian forest lakes watersheds
ČAPEK, Petr
The aim of the study was to test ion exchange resin (IER) bag method for measurement of forest soil phosphorus availability. P-PO4 sorption and elution efficiencies of ion exchange resin AsenXnp (Purolite) were tested. The results showed nearly 100% efficiency of P-PO4 sorption. Average elution efficiency after repeated elution on a glass column was 87 % (each elution step 50 ml 2 % NaOH, 300 ml in total). The amount of available phosphorus was determined in-situ using IER bag method in the litter and organic soil layers of Plešné and Čertovo lakes watersheds. Amount of available phosphorus was 3.6 times greater in soils of Plešné watershed compared to Čertovo watershed.

Occurence and density of corncrake (Crex crex) in selected parts of National Park Šumava in relation to biotope management
PEKSA, Martin
The abundance of males of corncrake (Crex crex) in dependence on its biotope management was studied in the west part of the Šumava National Park. A night counting of singing males of corncrake by the method of point transect was practised. A record of male territorial vocalization was used. The research last from 9th June 2008 to 8th July 2008 in the extent of 598,3 hectare and in the average altitude of 877,7 metres above sea-level. Sixty-two males of corncrake was found out in total. The average population density was 0,07 ex./ha. Among 39 monitored localities there were 53,9 % of perennial biomass crops, 23,8 % of localities without management, 11,9 % of grasslands and 10,5 % of localities where the management according to the agroenvironmental programme is practised. It was acknowledged a positive influence of localities where the management according to the agroenvironmental programme is practised on corncrakes occurrence. In spite of the procentual representation of these localities being the smallest the average occurrence of corncrake there is the largest. It appears from these results that the agroenvironmental programme called "Bird localities on biomass crops - the breeding place of corncrake" is beneficial.

Monitoring youth aged 9 {--} 11 participation in sport and motor activity in the mountain region of Southern Bohemia
FUKSOVÁ, Iveta
This diploma paper reports on the lifestyle of girls and boys of the examined age group (9 - 11) from the Bohemia Forest region and the Bohemia Forest piedmont plains. In the research, there were 249 probands who fully participated, out of which there were 110 girls and 139 boys. By the means of a questionnaire form, the participation in sports and the preferred leisure-time activities was determined. In the course of the testing of physical condition, the motor tests from the Unifit-test (6-60) battery were used: standing broad jump, sit-up, shuttle run, endurance run. The object of the somatic measurement was: weight, height, the sum of three skin folds. The results of the project are presented in graphs and tables.

This diploma thesis deals with the Stožec region, the southern part of the Šumava National Park. Pivotal part of diploma thesis is sorted to look as it is a tourist guide with nonfiction character. Tourist guide represents {\clqq}separate`` publication, which contains physical and social-geographical characteristics of studied area, historical development, recaptures places and activities of turistical interest and describes proposed routs for trecking, cycling or skiing on tracks. Component parts of tourist guide are supplemented with pictures and maps. Diploma thesis further contains obligatory chapters of scientific literature {--} the introduction, the analysis of used literature, the methodology of this thesis, conclusion, list of used literature and other sources.

Evaluation of the turistics influence on the vegetation of National nature reserve "Čertova stěna - Luč"
FLUKSOVÁ, Hana
NNR Čertova stěna - Luč is at the eastern corner of Šumava Mts. region. The reasons for protection are mostly stony slopes, relict pine forests, acidophilous beech forests and Vltava river canyon. A part of my thesis is floristic list with view on each recognized habitat type and completation of the vegetation map. I also made transects perpendicular to places with highest turist movement (paths, railroad) and I evaluated changes in species diversity and coverage in dependence on distance from transect centre. The highest turistic influence is on the right bank of Vltava river near the lookout place, where the herbs are strongly influenced and their coverage strongly decreased up to 15 m distance from the path.
