The Importance of Free - time Activities ini Resocialization Work
RAČÁKOVÁ, Jaroslava
My Bachelor Thesis deals with the issues of free-time activity in relation to resocialization work. I focused namely on children?s facilities Children Home and School in Šindlovy Dvory and Diagnostic Institute in Homole. I performed diagnostic research applying questioning method there. I chose the technique of questionnaire for children and carers. The thesis is an insight into the problems of institutional upbringing, protective upbringing, a preventive measure, a children?s diagnostic institution and a children?s home with school. I characterize the individuals taken to these facilities namely according to age (younger school age, pubescence), and factors like family, possible CAN syndrome and possible behaviour disorders causing the necessity of resocialization care. Free-time activity is an important aspect of the issue as it develops motivation principles. I used the personality of a carer as the final theoretical source. The central question of the bachelor thesis is whether the children participated in free-time activities before being lodged. A presumption that children do not have experience with free-time activities before entering the facility is the basic hypothesis of the work. The research shows that approximately 45.5 per cent of questioned children took part in free-time activities before being lodged. These activities were sometimes unsuitable. However the questionnaires show that a regime and meaningful use of free time for example affect gaining new skills or selection of professional preparation etc. There was an important finding that 100 per cent of the questioned carers actively participate in free time activities of the children. They not only motivate the children, but form a relation with them, which is very important for resocialization.
The effect of canistherapy on the client with disorders of behaviour and social relations
PILÁTOVÁ, Kateřina
The thesis was mainly aimed at the impact of canistherapy on the clients with behaviour and social anxiety disorders, their behaviour, social contacts and attitude to a living creature. The theoretical part of the thesis presents an overview of zootherapy and canistherapy terminology, outlines requisites of the practical part and defines behaviour and social anxiety disorders in children and adolescents. The outcome is represented by a multicase study on the basis of qualitative research technique. The multicase study offers a deep insight into three case studies, in details depicts particular techniques which are used in canistherapy, the process of canistherapy realised in children and adolescents with behaviour and social anxiety disorders. The findings of the research proved a positive impact of canistherapy, especially an AAT method, on the clients monitored. Based on these findings, canistherapy is highly recommended for this group of clients.
"Experiencing of aggressive symptoms at people with dementia by the patients´ relatives{\crq}q"
KRZOKOVÁ, Silvie
I chose the given topic not only because I consider this issue to be important and serious, but also because the majority of lay family caregivers, taking care of people with dementia and meeting their signs of inappropriate behaviour including an aggression, experience predominantly negative emotions. In term of the caregivers it is important how they perceive their care for an aggressive member of the family, how they experience it and what are treatment effects and impacts on their psychological stress. In an introductory part of the thesis there is summarized a current knowledge on the given issue. I deal with a definition of the dementia in individual chapters, by its epidemiology, diagnostics and examination methods, by therapies of the dementia, its classification, stages of the dementia and its clinical symptoms. In the next chapter I describe aggressive behaviours at the dementia syndrome, in this context then I pay an attention to caregivers´ emotions, their experience and finally I deal with the caregivers´ role and potential risks and impacts on their increased psychological stress. The following chapters bring research results, whose aim was to find out, how relatives of the people with the dementia diagnosis experience the aggressive behaviour of their closest. I chose a quantitative research combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies in the thesis. To obtain the necessary data I used a method of the questioning; a technique of the data collection was an anonymous questionnaire, which was used to determine hypotheses. The acquired data were processed and evaluated in a graphic form and the defined hypotheses were verified by it. At the end of this thesis there were carried out a summary and an evaluation of the survey results.
Etopedic problems of pupils accomodated at the hostel of the apprentice training centre and the solution of them
KREJČÍ, Miroslav
Ever worsening behavior of the young generation in our present-day society is a topic that is very often discussed, both among experts and in mass media. This undergraduate thesis themed ``Etopedical Problems of Pupils Housed in the Boardinghouse of the Training College and Their Solutions`` is addressing this serious social issue as well. Usual mere indiscipline of children and teenagers is long gone. Unsociable and excessive behavior was replaced by manners that are jar against the public morals and by acts that include all types of criminal social conduct. At the same time, the decreasing age limits of the involved is very alarming. The common specificity of the Training College pupils is a light cephalonia. The question is: Are the causes of behavioral disturbances interrelated with the light cephalonia that can be experienced with pupils housed in the boardinghouse of the Training College, or, are there other specific factors, relations and causes behind? My personal experience is that most of the problems of this category in this sphere arise from bad family background. I am convinced that most of the children and teenagers with behavioral disturbances were grown up and educated in a background with family pathology, malfunction, incompleteness and even family absence. This thesis deals with the results of my findings. In the first theoretical part of the thesis, I define boarding schools, adolescence period, specifics of a personality and psychological peculiarities of the Training College pupils, of special education, special pedagogy, with focus on etopedy. The objective of the practical part of the thesis was to discover the presence of behavioral disturbances with the Training College boarders, to determine and classify them and to prove the connection between a behavioral disturbance and a specificity of the Training College boarder. The research in this practical part was conducted in form of interviews (collective questionnaires) with the pupils housed in the boarding Training College, with educational staff of the Training College and the boardinghouse. Based on this research, I arrived at a conclusion, that a proper and correct education in the family, providing the child with harmonious development, is the most significant factor for a trouble free life of a teenager and for minimization of possible behavioral disturbances.
Influence of family background on origin and development of childrens behaviour disorders.
ZAVADILOVÁ, Dita
Behaviour disorders are beside adequate behaviour in the certain age and in the certain social-cultural surrounding. An individual with behaviour disorders counteracts particular behaviour standards (moral or legal rules). Causes can be innate (hereditary), which are less serious, or as a result of upbringing (impact of people of the same age, family, gangs), when a young man in such a way emulates his or her surrounding. Behaviour disturbances can be generally characterized as a deviation in the area of socialization, when an individual is not able to respect the common standards of behaviour on the level corresponding his age.
Behaviour disorders - bullying
VLKOVÁ, Kateřina
Aggression and bullying currently represent a threat that is present in children´s lives from the early years of school attendance and can aggravate with their age. The problem does not concern the children alone but also the adults and the whole society. The aim of this thesis titled Behaviour disorders {--} bullying was to find out what the experience with bullying was among the 9th graders of cooperating basic schools in Tábor, as well as to describe how these problems are dealt with by the teachers at the schools in question. Dealing with these problems and stopping vexation at the level of the entire society is a complicated, long-term process. It is necessary to start the education early and familiarise the children with moral and social rules. The inevitable precondition is the cooperation of all subjects involved in this process. They have to be informed on the causes, forms, prevention methods and consequences related to the problem.
Aspects of Coping in Early Adolescence in Connection With Behaviour Disorders.
BENEŠOVÁ, Štěpánka
The theme of this work is Aspects of Coping in Early Adolescence in Connection With Behaviour Disorders. In theoretical part of this work I focused on explanation of conceptions that were important and were related to this theme. The practical part I conceived as the analysis of these interviews and their comparison. The result of this work should summarize how adolescence with behaviour disorders or without these disorders deal with stressors. Important is also which are their strategies of dealing with stressors, if they are similar or different.
Attachment in early adolescence and its relations to behaviour disorders
KOLÁŘOVÁ, Šárka
My thesis aims to prove the hypothesis that there is an influence of an attachment organization on the development of an emotionally stable personality. According to the model of development psychopathology a secure attachment organization constitutes a protective factor and is associated with a desirable development of an individual. It has positive connections with competence in peer relationships, effective self-regulation and better social adaption in early adolescence. An insecure attachement represents a specific vulnerability for further development of a child and it shows links with lower social competence, less effective emotional regulation and social adaption or with psychic disorders. The practical part of this thesis focuses on findings of correlations between an attachement organization to parents in early childhood and the extent of social adaption (determined by the extent of the occurence of behaviour disorders). From among demographic factors, the effect of age on connections between indicators of emotional attachment, parents{\crq} representation, behaviour strategy and mental defects is investigated. The part of a research sample is made up of children with diagnosed behaviour disorders. The theoretical part covers the problems of attachment and family relations, behaviour disorders and development features of children of a given age category.
