We can also say, that visually handicapped (similarly ZP) or person with visual handicap is a person with different types and grades of decreased visual ability. The human being receives approximately 85% of information from surrounding world by the visual sence, therefore it is evident, that an visual handicap affects the whole personality. Thereby we mean those people, by who the visual handicap affect common life activities and where the common optical correction is not sufficient. The number of severly visually handicapped persons of all age groups is in Czech Republic nowadays indicated to 60 000 persons. The estimation indicates the number of 5 - 20 visually handicapped children to 1000 new born children. In the Education law it is mentioned: Educational facilities arranges for children, pupils and students education, sporting and leisure time activities in addition to lessons and also in the working days off or during the holiday. The term leisure time is understood as a time, when people freely choose and perform activities, which bring them enjoyment, amusement, relaxation, activities which more or less renew their physical and mental abilities, possibly creative strength. This bachelors thesis is designated to everyone, who come into contact with visually handicapped students, to headmasters of common and special high schools, where the visually handicapped students are in the classes. This bachelors thesis would also improve awareness of leisure time activity possibilities and possibly it could help to extend the leisure time activities offer according to the students interests.
