Netolice, Na Jánu. The analyze the early medieval pottery found

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the early medieval pottery found at the hillfort Na Jánu acropolis. The pottery assemblage originates from trenchs S2/2000, S3/2003, S4/2003, S5/2003, S4/2001, S5/2001 end S16/2013. I analyzed functional, technological and decorative features of the pottery and, based on these results, created relative chronology of the entire sample.
THE ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM - REBUILDING OF ST.HYPPOLITS AREAL IN ZNOJMO

The main idea was to create dignified and functional building of new museum with captivating exposition and also with functions such as laboratiories, workshops and depsitory and thus serve the whole process of archeological work. To provide the area with demanding visitor supply are also designed functions such as wellness, restaurant and tourist accomodation. Also accomodation for emplyees is designed and could be rent for visitors when not used. The whole area should create new center in Znojmo Hradiště.
THE ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM - REBUILDING OF ST.HYPPOLITS AREAL IN ZNOJMO

The aim of the diploma thesis was to design new campus at Hradiste St. Hyppolita in Znojmo. At present, a part of this area is owned by the Foundation of St. Hyppolita, which is an organization engaged in archaeological research in this area. Thus, the main idea was to create a new campus, which should be used not only for research, but also for the presentation of the discovered artifacts and, last but not least, as a popular tourist activity. Furthemore, it was required that the new campus completes the existing urban structure of the village and creates new conditions for the its development, which is considered as out of order and economically disadvantageous territory now. The result was overall redevelopment of the part of village. There were placed the objects such the museum, the research institute, the Foundation's headquarters and the commercial accommodation with catering possibility. Urban design responds to the current and the historical context and thanks to the involvement of many significant green elements, there was created a quiet public place too.
Mladá Boleslav in early medieval period and its hinterland

The first aim of this thesis is to map and summarize current archaeological knowledge of early medieval settlement in direct neighborhood of early medieval strongholds Mladá Boleslav and Švédské šance (cadastral Chloumek). This neighborhood is specified arbitrary more or less in distance of 5km from Mladá Boleslav. The second aim is to process spatial data of settlement in GIS programs and create predictive models. These models are valorized, criticized and interpreted by assistance of existing evidences of early medieval central places' hinterlands then. In next step possible form and development of hinterland is outlined.In the context of this thesis was made ground survey by analytical field working at site of Švédské šance. Ceramic material from this survey is evaluated by spatial data, categorized by chronology of czech early medieval and compared to donated ceramic set.
Archaeology in Přemysl Otakar II.'s castles in south Bohemia

Thesis contains summary of establishment and development of castles in Czech republic territory, emphasis is on royal seats in south Bohemia. Typology and history of Ottokar II.´s castles in region of south Bohemia will be presented. In analytic part will be general knowledge about extent of archeological researches and their contribution to history of these sights. Final part of thesis is dedicated to comparison material evidences (archeological) with sources.
Contribution to the history of early medieval settlement in southern Bohemia. Archaeology and early medieval hillfort in Doudleby

The subject of this thesis is the early medieval hillfort in Doudleby, which is presented here mainly from the archaeological point of view. One of the most important aims of this thesis is to summarize the archaeological findings, which are related to this hillfort and to provide an overview and information on available archaeological material from Doudleby. However, attention was paid to the early medieval hillforts in general and especially to South Bohemian hillforts. A smaller set of pottery was also analyzed in this bachelor thesis.
Archaeological Park Netolice and examples of its use in leisure time

The thesis studies the construction of Archeopark in Netolice and its utilization in leisure time. It gives the reader information about the town of Netolice, and about the realization of the place of today?s Archeopark from the first finds to the construction of its wooden palisade. It consists of archaeological research from recent years. It describes activities of the Summer school of archaeology since 2007 and introduces and popularise partnership with the town of Ringelai with a similar project named Gabreta. The thesis contains two kinds of appendixes. The first appendix includes an interview with Oldřich Petrášek, the mayor of Netolice. The second one consist of visual constituents such as photographs of monuments of Netolice with stress on the Archeopark itself.
Early Medieval Layers from Hillfort Na Jánu in Netolice. The Analysis of Pottery from the Probe S1/2000

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the early medieval pottery in relation to the archaeological layers and situations within the area of western rampart of the hillfort Na Jánu acropolis, based on the field documentation. The next aim of the work is to consider functional, technological and decorative features of the pottery as well as to create a detailed database and to capture a possible development of the whole pottery assemblage within the hillfort area using the appropriate analytical techniques. The thesis also contains a research concerning contemporary methodological approaches to analysis of the early medieval pottery.
Metal archaeological finds from Slavonic castle hill in Bohemia - example from castle hill Sv. Ján in Netolice.

Thesis gives an overview about early middle age metal vestiges (with focus on castle hills) and about manufacturing processes associated with them. The main aim is description (including hooked illustration) and analysis of middle ages metal vestiges founded on castle hill Netolice. The results illustrates how the archaeological finds are reflected in day-to-day activities of medieval castle comunity.
