Artistic objects in interior

Theoretical part of this diploma thesis sums up a wide theme of placing artistic objects in interior and exterior. Ideas like enviroment creating, atmosphere, space, construction, psychological aspects of architecture are mentioned. Basical tendences of placing the artistic objects and their function are defined. Some exaples of placing the artistic objects in architecture are named. In practical part of this thesis are worked up concepts for placing a concrete artistic object, redesign of logotype and informational system of cultural establishment ``Pasáž{\crqq} in Třebíč.

Sebastiano Serlio, l'opera rustica, and the Castle in Moravská Třebová

Already many years before mentioned J. Kowalczyk the similitary of the soulution of the castle facade in Moravská Třebová with the engraving in the book "Libro estraordinario" by Sebastiano Serlio. The reason of the today articlee is to analyse in depth patterns in all Serlio's books, inclusive unpublished Book VI, as well as his concept of a very important theoretical term - "opus rusticum".

In preservation of the historical cities, Wirth introduced modern methods influenced by Alois Riegl. He was convinced that the forms of Cubist architecture offered an ideal way how to innovate cities´s environment.

The summary of results of the present archaeological excavations in the area of the Cistercian cloister in Sedlec by Kutná Hora

The article is a brief summary of results of the rescue archaeological excavations near the convent church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary in the area of the Cistercian convent in Sedlec by Kutná Hora in years 2004-2008. The author focuses mainly on two new discoveries, which are crucial for the building history, concretely on the coin depot containing Prague Gross of Václav II. and Jan Lucemburský, dating the completion of the chapels in the east side of the convent church to the 2nd decade of 14th century at the latest, and on the partial uncovering of so far unregistered building, with high probability an older Romanesque convent church.
