This thesis deals with the use of modern methods in evaluating the performance of the company in the construction industry. The work consists of two parts. The first theoretical part, provides information and knowledge related to the problematics. For processing the theoretical part is used literary sources from both domestic and foreign origin. In the second part, therefore my work, is used knowledge from theoretical part, gradually applied to achieve the established goal. The beginning of the chapter is characterized by examining a given company, but also the sector in which the company operates. Furthermore the attention is focused on financial analysis of the company, performed on the basis of traditional indicators or indicators of complexive evaluation of the company. The main attention of this thesis is devoted to applying economic value added, sensitivity analysis, identification of value generators, economically-statistical methods and benchmarking method. On the basis of obtained results are in conclusion proposed recommendations for improving the performance of the examined company.

This diploma thesis is focused to evaluate and determine the economic performance of agricultural enterprises, with aim to identify the factors, which have a main impact on their economic performance and to propose a possible solutions to increase the economic performance. The thesis has two parts. The theoretical part defines the traditional and modern measures commonly used in order to evaluate the economic performance of enterprises. More in details is discussed the method of economic value added EVA. In the practical part are on base of results identified the factors having the greatest impact on formation of value added. In conclusion, there are defined the suggestions and recommendations that should contribute to improving the performance and the competitiveness of the analyzed enterprises.

This thesis deals with the performance management of the Research Institute of Brewing and Malting. Prior to the evaluating of company performance the financial status of the company will be assessed by the analysis of financial statements and ratio indicators. Subsequently will be determined the company performance by economic value added indicator and compared to entire branch by benchmarking diagnostic system of financial indicators INFA. For identification of the key variables, which are affecting the company performance will be used the sensitivity analysis. Finally will be analysed the performance values of comparable companies, namely the research institutes operating in the agricultural sector. Based on the obtained results, will be proposed improvements for the performance of the Research Institute of Brewing and Malting.

The subject of this thesis is the design of appropriate measures that will lead to the strengthening of the financial position and increase the economic performance of the chosen company. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is the literary basis for assessing the performance of the methods used. In the practical part, these methods are applied. The financial health of the company is assessed through financial analysis. Gradual adjustment of the financial statements is based EVA. To determine the effect of different variables on firm performance is used correlation and sensitivity analysis. Based on the findings are formulated measures aimed at increasing the production of economic value added.
Photovoltaic power plant in Romania

Renewable energy resources, especially photovoltaics, have experienced enormous boom all over the world in the past few years. It was completely the same in Czech Republic where you would not find anybody without his own opinion regarding PV business. Installation of PV power plants has become very attractive business, with very significant role in 2011 in Czech Republic. At this time, this solar boom has found its "home" in other European countries, particularly in Eastern Europe. The post of the new Eastern Europe's "powerhouse" can defend even Romania, that's the cause I have chosen this country as the subject of this thesis. The aim of this thesis is to create a business plan for PV power plant and evaluate the investment opportunity of its installation in Romania. And then by means of a sensitivity analysis find out the impact of external factors that can significantly affect the profitability of the project.
Renewable energy sources and their exploitation for prosperity of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs)

The aim of the thesis was to examine the basic technical and technological requirements of photovoltaic technology in terms of economic characteristics, analyze the current situation in the use of renewable energy sources, especially photovoltaics in the Czech Republic with comparing to the world's situation. The thesis also provides an overview of laws and legal norms applicable in the Czech Republic and the European Union with regard to photovoltaics. The crucial part is dedicated to investment evaluation of the renewable energy (photovoltaic) projects. The author supports presented ideas with a comprehensive investment analysis of a specific rooftop photovoltaic project realized by medium sized company. In addition to evaluation process the investment recommendation is provided and the most significant risk factors of the project are identified. The conclusion of this thesis includes a single-factor sensitivity analysis of a net present value of the project.
Business plan of a low-cost golf course

The thesis is divided in two different parts. In the theoretical one we can find information about golf, its history, evolution and an opinion about it. This part also deals with the operating principles of a golf resort, an ownership structure and an existence of a golf club. At the end of theoretical part is described the structure of a business plan in detail. The business plan is based on a real project of a low-cost golf course. It respects the investor's requirements and is meant to be used as a manual for operating of this golf course. We can also find the procedure for establishing a golf club, the applied methods of segment analysis and the prediction of activities connected to the club in the future that respect the factor of risk.
