Educational opportunities of students with low funkcioning autism.
VACKOVÁ, Lucie
The topic of this bachelor thesis is Educational possibilities of pupils with low-functional autism. The aim of this thesis is to find out the differences in education of schoolchildren with low-functional autism in the classes for children with heavy mental handicap and parallel handicap and in the classes with specially modified educational program for schoolchildren with disorder of autistic spectrum. The classes were chosen in České Budějovice. The education of these pupils is based on didactical rules, mainly on individual approach. During the writing of this thesis was found out that it is very difficult to delimitate particularities of pedagogical principals of both groups. The teachers and their assistants mostly did not know what to answer on the question: ?Which of pedagogical principals do you prefer?? Pedagogical principals are also described in the theoretical part. I found out there is a many possibilities. Principals that are used during the education of autistic children are also theoretically set. It is a good way how to deal with these pupils. In practice are these principals used according the particularities and it is very difficult to delimit exact particularities in the classes, where many pupils are and who have different needs. It can be said that each child is specific and needs different pedagogical principals. It was found that positive things appear in every kind of these classes. They are always connected with definite pupil and his specifics. Between negative things there is always financial problematic of these institutions. Teacher?s assistant is basically very necessary for the autistic children. The institution has not got many financial resources to hire enough employees who could raise the quality of education. An individual approach to these children is really important. A crucial fact for their education is determination of particularities of each pupil and according to this fact to choose the correct approach. An individual approach was found in every kind of examined classes. In every class is also very important the structure of the class and specific needs of its pupils. On these facts depends other things like time demand on the tasks or the size of the class. The specifics in the individual approach were not discovered. It is evident that the selection of educational system plays important role for development of these individuals and incorrect choice can endanger individuality development of children with autism. This thesis could deal as an informational resource for parents of children with low-functional autism from České Budějovice and surroundings, who make or will make a decision, where their child will be educated and which kind of class choose in order to be the most effective for their child. However, in the thesis are principal information and it would be helpful to extend the thesis and completed it. The parents could welcome this information and thanks to that to penetrate this topic. In cooperation with special pedagogical centre for mental handicap, that is a part of Kindergarten, Elementary and Practical school in České Budějovice, Štítného 3, this thesis could help to familiarize with the institutions, where these children can be educated.

The Youth of selected infectious alimentary disease preventiv in the region Milevsko
VINKLEROVÁ, Lucie
Foodborne diseases form a large group of infectious diseases. These substantial diseases are occurring more in developing countries but they do not avoid developed countries. The originators of the disease are bacteria and their toxins, viruses, parasites and prions, whose source is an infected person or animal. The disease is passed on by contaminated soil, contaminated water and food, sometimes contaminated items. Greatest importance in the prevention of foodborne disease are nonspecific measures, protection of drinking water, safe food production, waste disposal, functional sewer system, rodenticides and insecticides measures and of course the principles of personal hygiene, certain standards of hygiene and health education of the population. Intestinal infections are preventable. The consumer can effectively protect by following the fundamental principles established by the World Health Organization. The aim of this study was to explore knowledge of foodborne disease prevention measures and compliance with these principles by adolescents in the Milevsko region. The theoretical part of the study summarizes the basic information about intestinal diseases and describes their effect on health from a variety of perspectives. The preventive measures which everyone should be aware of and apply them in everyday life to protect health are described in great detail. The paper summarizes the information about the process of spreading foodborne diseases and epidemiological measures focused on supply, routes of transmission and susceptible individuals. The theoretical part includes basic information about specific intestinal infections which are most significant for the population in the Czech Republic. Briefly described are treatment of these diseases and the most important legislative measures. In the research part quantitative research was applied by questionnaire. The research groups were students of higher secondary vocational schools and vocational schools in the region Milevsko. Three hypotheses were formulated. Statistical hypothesis testing was performed using the t test. The values of the achieved significance level are compared with a predetermined level of significance. The first hypothesis assumed that knowledge about prevention of intestinal diseases is higher among girls than boys. This statement has not been confirmed. Knowledge of the principles of prevention does not differ according to the criteria of gender. Two further hypotheses assumed that the observance of hygienic measures in the prevention of foodborne disease is higher among girls than among boys and higher for high-school graduates than apprentices. These hypotheses are valid. Precautionary principles are indeed respected more by girls than boys and high-school graduates than apprentices. The carried out research shows that adolescents in the region Milevsko have a good knowledge of foodborne infections and do known also essential preventive measures. However, knowledge of these rules does not mean they are applied in practice. The results showed that some rules, such as washing fruits and vegetables before eating, adequate boiling or roasting of food, especially hand hygiene before eating food or after contact with an animal are observed by a smaller percentage of respondents than that reported knowledge of these principles. A positive finding is that respondents comply with certain rules, without being aware of them, such as the principle of proper preservation of precooked food. Foodborne diseases are diseases which can be prevented in compliance with precautionary principles. Especially in the Czech Republic, where nonspecific principles are at a high level. It is up to each user/consumer how consistent these principles will be. Respecting preventive measures is a prerequisite for reducing the incidence of foodborne disease in the population.

Group training in social skills of children with Asperger syndrome in older school age
SKOTÁKOVÁ, Jana
We use social skills during interactions with other people. They form an inseparable part of each of us. We first learn them from our parents, then from other people, and during our whole life, with each new experience. People with Asperger's syndrome are not able to do so. They have problems during conversation understanding elements of non-verbal communication such as gestures, proxemics, facial expressions, postures and many others. They do not understand their emotions or other people's emotions. They do not get irony. For their trustfulness and naivety they can easily become a victim to persecutors, bullies or impostors. My Bachelor's work focuses on the period of older school age. It is the time of big changes which bring certain risks. For teenagers with Asperger's syndrome, as well as for their peers, it is one of the most demanding life periods. They start to realise their dissimilarity and therefore they need more support. Group training of model situations is one possibility for them to learn to understand the basic rules of social interactions. The aim of my work was to create work lists on the basis of determined deficits in the selected group of teenagers, on the basis of observations of the whole group, discussions with SPC (Special Pedagogic Centre) employees and analyses of documentation, and to test these work lists during social skills group training in practice. The first part of my Bachelor work describes general information about particular types of autistic spectrum disorder. It also compares symptoms of children with Asperger's syndrome and children's autism in the area of social interactions and communication. At the end of the first chapter I define problems of people with Asperger's syndrome in three basic areas ? social interactions, communication and imagination. The second chapter describes individual elements of social skills. The next part is devoted to the period of older school age (pubescence), first at a general level, and then focusing on particular specifics of adolescent children with Asperger's syndrome. The final chapter highlights the increased risk of bullying for these children. The next part of my Bachelor work describes the research method which was used for this work. Social skills training for children with a mental handicap, with an extended scope of activity for caring for people with autistic spectrum disorder, was carried out at the České Budějovice SPC in Štítného Street. The selected group comprised of four clients with Asperger's syndrome who attend the second stage of the primary school in České Budějovice. The work characterises this group as well as individual clients. The practical part describes the course of each training session and reflection of the selected group. Finally I included a discussion with two parents of the children who attended the group training of social skills at SPC. During my work with the target group I realised that group training has its pros and cons and it is not always suitable for every client ? not every client is able to work in a group and individual training may be more convenient. The individuality of every client must be taken into account when creating the group. During group training with the target group I detected certain difficulties and dangers which this form of training brings, e.g. the variety of the group, an irregular number of clients, the increased number of hours with increased demands in lessons at the second stage of primary school, the different interests and demands of individual motivation for each client. Each client needs an individual method of motivation.

Geocaching as a Leisure Time Activity for Parents and Their Preschool-Aged Children
JEZDINSKÁ, Simona
The bachelor thesis focuses on geocaching as a physically active, free-time activity of parents and their pre-school children. The theoretical part deals with the definition of free time, with free-time activities of pre-school children, and potential dangers of spending free time in a passive way. Furthermore, it discusses the possibility of the use of geocaching within environmental education in Czech nursery schools and it elaborates on geocaching as a free-time activity for parents and their children. In the practical part of the thesis, parents are interviewed about how much time they spend with thier children, as well as what free time activities they actually do with them, and if they do geocaching with them at all. An important part of the thesis is a submission of a new, thematic geocache for pre-school children and their parents. Moreover, the 'game' is practically implemented in the lesson plan in a nursery school Preslova v Českých Budějovicích.

The issue of interactive whiteboards with regard to the visual load of children - the subjective perception of children
PEKÁRKOVÁ, Kristýna
In my thesis I focus on the interactive whiteboards for teaching in primary and secondary schools and subjective evaluation of visual stress of students. Currently, teaching is on the rise based on modern interactive aids, which undoubtedly include an interactive whiteboard or projection screens with interactive touch screen. These boards are not only at the primary and secondary schools, but also in some kindergartens. The school environment is seen as a permanent resident and therefore it is necessary to see it as well as any other workplace. In children and teens are making progress, which may be adversely affected by improper environment and it is therefore important to pay attention to this issue. The results of this work will also serve to further plan extensive research in the Central Region. Not only results, but also an information leaflet will be available to schools for their development.

Protection of population-teaching aid for seniors
DOLEŽALOVÁ, Barbora
Protection of population - a teaching aid for seniors Thesis topic is "Protection of population - teaching aid for the seniors." The theoretical part of the education system of seniors how they can develop their personality even at an advanced age and thus come to fulfilment. The work is also described as insight into the history of protection population and its current state. It is important to realize continuous development of this area, particularly in the approach to the risks and dangers that surround us, their analysis and subsequent action. A prerequisite for the efficient functioning of the security system are appropriate legislative measures. The important part is undoubtedly a preventive educational activity in the area of civil protection and fire protection focused on citizens. The work classifies emergencies and carries out the tasks of civil protection. The theoretical part also describes cooperation at the international level. The aim was to create educational material for the elderly, aimed at protecting the population and treated on the basis of available information and literature. In the result, therefore, to raise awareness among the elderly in the area, this may be in danger of their lives, health or property. To accomplish this aim it was necessary to choose basic and essential information from available sources. It was mainly about the basic concepts of civil protection, classification of incidents and how they behave in given situations. It was also necessary to create a questionnaire including questions on precisely the subject of protection of the population in relation to the citizens themselves - seniors. The questionnaire was administered in elderly patients visiting senior's club Šance in Týn nad Vltavou and was subsequently verified normality knowledge. Following the improvement of information for seniors from the aforementioned club was created block of three lectures where senior citizens have clarified the issue of protection of the population, especially in relation to their self-protection. Chapter "Results" includes an evaluation questionnaire. Presented are the issues and their graphic evaluation. Using mathematical and descriptive statistics were verified whether knowledge of seniors in the area of civil protection division has knowledge of near normal distribution. The hypothesis was verified and accepted. The result of this work is an educational tool that is further specified in the chapter "Results". The complete version of teaching aids is the appendixes, which among other things are also presentations that were used to lecture at the senior's club Šance. The output material will serve as an informational tool for seniors visiting senior's club Šance. Another possibility is the use of teaching materials electronically, where the material will be available on the website of the town Týn nad Vltavou and provide the necessary information not only seniors, but also to other citizens, who express concern over the issue of choice. Interest in electronic form of educational toys showed a primary school Hlinecká in Týn nad Vltavou.

Examples of successful integrations of students with physical disabilities in the mainstream education
HEŘMANOVÁ, Michaela
This bachelor thesis deals with the examples of successful integration of students with disabilities in the mainstream education in České Budějovice and nearby. The integration of students with the disabilities is currently widespread and it can be frequently found in common types of schools. The thesis consists of three parts: theoretical, practical and appendix. The theoretical part of this thesis discusses the basic concepts which are related to the disability. The most popular types of the physical disability are divided and described there. In the following part a pupil with his special educational needs and learning opportunities is characterized in terms of the legislation. The study also deals with the concepts of integration and inclusion. The term integration is legislatively known in the Czech Republic since 1989. In the process of integration, the supportive measures for the pupils with special educational needs are considerably important. They are e.g.; the early custody and the special educational support. This type of integration should be prepared and planned thoroughly before its creation. The factors that affect this process play an important role in the proces of integration. These factors are particularly; the family, especially the parents, school, class groups, teachers, counseling, diagnosis, and also the form of integration. In any case the main aim of this study is to find and describe the examples of successful integration of students with disabilities in the mainstream education. Moreover, the partial goals are to find out the factors which are positively influencing this process as well as the factors that are not desirable in this process. The another objective is to identify the level of the teamwork between the school, parents and the school counseling facility and then between the cooperation with fellow pupil, teacher's assistant and the classroom teacher. To achieve the above mentioned practical goals the qualitative research has been used. The data were collected with using of the questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The research sample consisted of five students with disabilities who were integrated in mainstream elementary schools in České Budějovice and also in the surrounding area. Furthermore, the research group was made of the parents and classroom teachers of the integrated pupils. The questionnaires with the opened questions were created for these pupils and their parents. The surveys differed in the varied number of questions and their content. In addition the semi-structured interviews were conducted with classroom teachers of the integrated pupils. On the basis of the results, it is apparently evident that the most important factors affect the integration of the human factors. All the people, involved in the integration, are the most important factors for the success of the process. It is a collaboration of the parents and school, teacher's assistant collaboration with the classroom teacher, assistant teacher working with an integrated pupil, pupil´s positive acceptance from the mainstream classmates and the school cooperation with the special educational center. The cooperation between all the stakeholders is essential for the successful integration process. Furthermore, the supportive measures which are important could be for instance; the special methods, compensation, rehabilitation and teaching aids, special teaching materials and more. The highest possible supportive measure is to establish a teaching assistant profession. This work also describes the examples of the successful integration while each of them is unique. There is no precise instruction how to provide the successful integration. It always depends on the capabilities of the school and on the individual skills of integrated pupil. Each student needs to be supported by the different security measures which can help him to overcome the obstacles that cause a physical disability.
