Straková, Michaela ; Doležalová, Jana (advisor) ; Viktor, Viktor (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with equestrian sport in the Vysočina region. It concerns about the past, the present, but also its development and future. The text focuses on four main aspects. These are the numbers of horses, education, race, including the prestigious Golden Horseshoe and financial donations. There is compared quantity of horses in the Vysočina region with other regions and also numbers of horses in Vysočina from 2003 till 2014. The thesis also deals with the organization of official competitions during the same period. It monitors numbers of official competitions including the specific trends of each equestrian discipline. The official competitions organized in Vysočina include the finals of the high popular competition Golden Horseshoe. The next aspect which is monitored is education of riders and horse breeders in the region provided by Czech Agricultural Academy in Humpolec. The last chapter of the thesis is dedicated to the financial support provided by the region of Vysočina for the development of equestrian sport, both for competitions and equestrian clubs. The thesis approves the theory that equestrian sport in Vysočina is developing. Monitored numbers of horses nearly doubled and there is obvious growth each year. Amount of competitions in the Vysočina were changing during the period. Most frequently, there were held around 20 - 30 competitions per year and for the next year there are planned 32 official competitions. Negative tendency can be seen in the numbers of students of the Agricultural Academy in Humpolec. The last chapter focused on financial support coming from Vysočina region and it shows that horsemanship is supported in this territory because it is beneficial for the region. Lot of people are periodically attending competitions, where families spend their leisure time. Horse riding also leads children have relations to agriculture, animals and mainly sport. Czech Agricultural Academy Humpolec educates young generation of people who after graduating are seeking employment mainly in the agricultural sector. By this the academy brings new qualified workers in agriculture to the region. What is more, the successful riders and breeders represent the region in national and international level.

Evaluation Principles: Effective evaluation and financing system for research, development and innovation
Münich, Daniel
The objective of Ipn project “Effective evaluation and financing system for research, development and innovation“) is to replace from 2015 the existing Methodology of evaluating the results achieved by research institutions with a more effective system of institutional evaluation based on the international quality standards. The new evaluation in the form of informed peer-review will reflect the Ipn Audit recommendations as well as Long Term Evaluation Principles adopted by RVVI (Research, Development and Innovations Council). The new system will combine quantitative and qualitative evaluation of outputs and contributions of the creative activity of research institutions with clear and future oriented indicators in order to facilitate evaluation of their development dynamics, evaluate their outputs from the point of view of their quality, relevance, impact and effectiveness while respecting the departmental and institutional differences. It should enable periodic evaluation of the performance of Czech Research, Development and Innovation system as a whole and of its individual components in comparison with the global standards. The evaluation results should facilitate strategic management on the level of public administration as well as on the level of individual institutions and their departments. The evaluation process should be resistant to nepotism and should be supported by high quality international expert evaluators and bibliometrical criteria.

Effective System of Evaluation and Financing of Research, Development and Innovations Project: hopes and expectations
Hronová, Stanislava
Since 2004 the methodology of evaluating research and development results (later: methodology of evaluating results achieved by research institutions) applied in the Czech Republic has gone through many revisions which however have not changed the principles of what was devised as a not very suitable system. The deformations resulting from such evaluation became fully apparent when the results were directly linked to the distribution of funds provided for the long term development of a given organisation. In 2011 the Council for Research, Development and Innovation decided on the basis of discussions within expert community about the fate of evaluation methodology, negative effects it had on research institutions, partial outputs (at that time) of the RDI System International Audit in the Czech Republic to adopt the Long Term Principles of Evaluating the Research Institutions Results. These principles are the backbone of IPn Methodology Project that should provide the scientific community as well as the public administration with an instrument of evaluating research institutions and with the system of research and development in the Czech Republic respecting international standards and departmental differences, based on quantitative and qualitative criteria

Assembling of request for financial support from operating program human resources and employment rate according to success of the former students at the job market in a period 2009 - 2010 who passed retraining program
VÁLKOVÁ, Pavla
The aims of my thesis was compiling a draft request for financial support from the Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment and compile it in accordance with the strategic materials, key economic and social characteristics contained in the OP HRE. The purpose was to incorporate graduates? experience from retraining courses, depending on the need to strengthen the integration of people at risk of social exclusion or socially excluded. The focus of the program is aimed at the priority axis "Active labor market policies" and "Social integration and equal opportunity." The content of individual activities is to increase competence in business, accounting, tax, and total financial and computer literacy, to improve opportunities in the labor market. The base of the request for financial support was drawing up the cost proposal for the training center project.

Ethics of auditors in practice
SVOJŠOVÁ, Pavlína
In my thesis I evaluated and assessed the activities of auditors in relation to the ethics of behavior in terms of legislation of the Czech Republic. I focused on the published cases of misconduct of auditors and the subsequent punitive sanctions. Ethical behavior is the basis for the auditor's professionalism. In connection with the accounting scandals and falsification of accounting and audit reports, the public began to discuss - among other things - auditors' liability for fraud detection leading to distorted accounts of the entities and the principles of ethical behavior started to get into the spotlight of auditors?, which was later enshrined in legal and professional standards including Code of Ethics of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). Expectations of many users of financial statements from the auditor's report are too high and usually go up beyond what the auditor can actually verify and confirm. However, it must be acknowledged that not all auditors are sufficiently aware of their responsibilities in relation to the distortion of financial statements due to fraud or misconduct, and adequately adapt their audit procedures due to them. Certainly worth mentioning is the most visible impact of accounting scandals in the accounting and auditing profession - the fall of Arthur Andersen, one of the former "Big Five" auditing firms. Accounting profession has responded by developing and tightening ethical standards with an emphasis on the conduct of professional accountants in the public interest, not only in the interests of individual clients or employers. The role of audit in society is irreplaceable. Quality of the audits undertaken, however, ultimately depends on the auditor's discipline and education, the control of the Council Chamber and also public oversight of auditing, as well as pressure of the users of financial statements and of the representatives on the appropriateness and quality of outputs. Ethics in the auditor's work and its compliance in life are the things that determine auditor?s reputation.

Trading with permits CO2
VROBEL, Radim
In this diploma thesis about the trading of permits CO2 to focus on the issue of release of carbon dioxide in a European context and its control through a system of tradable CO2 - EU ETS. I focus on the first two trading period of the EU ETS, in terms of allocated permits, price trends, and number of permits traded in the two periods in selected EU countries and the Czech Republic. The aim is to determine how appears a system of tradable CO2 permits in selected EU countries and the Czech Republic in the context of fulfillment obligations to reduce CO2 emissions under the Kyoto Protocol. The work compare the situation in the Czech Republic with selected EU countries in selected indicators of specific emissions trading and CO2. The work seeks to determine to what extent the ETS helps in improving the situation of individual countries in absolute production of CO2. The first chapter introduces the issue of climate change. It explains what are greenhouse gases, greenhouse effect and how this effect works. It acquaints readers with one greenhouse gas and that is carbon dioxide. Then the work explains how climate change takes place and there is also described climate history of the Earth, which is necessary to closer understanding of the issue. Then follows the description of international organizations, which deal with climate protection and have international influence. The second chapter focuses on ways to solution climate change. The bigger attention is devoted to the trading with carbon dioxide, than the work explaines the functioning of the European ETS, its development and global influence on the production and reduction of CO2. Than is the chapter devoted to notes and obligations that are promised in the Kyoto Protocol and closer specified the position of the Czech Republic in this Convention. In the third chapter compares the work selected countries of the European Union, which are the largest issuers of the Union's carbon dioxide. If it is possible to compare states in terms of their commitments and reduce CO2 implementation of these commitments. It appears that a large part of the EU Member States fulfill their obligations only partially, and some states it does not meet at all. For some selected countries we can see even an absolute increase in these emissions. Production of CO2 emissions is expressed in the comparison of selected countries in various indicators such as a production of CO2 per GDP or per inhabitant or per hectare of forest. It seems that not all states have aligned their emissions, which are important for sustainable development in that states. The last part compares selected countries in terms of allocated permits in the first and second ETS trading period and describes the evolution of both periods. Finally we performed a detailed analysis of price trends of permits especially in the first ETS period.

International Trade of Guatemala and the EU with Bananas
Chytilová, Zdenka ; Rumánková, Lenka (advisor) ; Kateřina, Kateřina (referee)
The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate two-way trade flows in goods between Guatemala and the European Union, more precisely the import of Guatemalan bananas to the European Union during the period from 2001 to 2009. The thesis focuses on creating a gravity model for the banana trade flows. The exogenous variables in the model are GDP of the EU, GDP of Guatemala, distance and exchange rate. The main goal is achieved by the partial analyses, such as trend analyse of chosen exogenous variables. Two gravity models are assembled: a linear gravity model and a power gravity model. For both variations, there are the verifications as well as the prognosis for the 3 following periods. The results of the research show that a power gravity model is the one more suitable for following the trade flows in bananas between Guatemala and the European Union. The main contribution of this thesis is an establishment of a functional gravity model that could be use in order to follow various trade flows in one commodity between two countries.
