The advantages and disadvantages of mastering the foreign language from the perspective of mono- and multilingualism in the society

The Bachelor thesis deals with comparison of advantages and disadvantages of using the foreign language. The theoretical part describes the principle of multilingualism and the European concept of multilingualism, it also indicates the development of the foreign languages education in the Czech Republic in the last thirty Years. The current situation is assessed, especially the use of German language. The data are analysed, evaluated and the recommendation is determined.
Personal characteristics and social education as a part of languages being taught at primary school

The thesis is focused on the description of Personal and Social Education as a subject in teaching languages in primary schools. It describes the changes in the educational system of the Czech Republic and deals with the explanation of Personal and Social Education in different contexts. The aim is to determine how teachers understand targeted integration of this topic and how they work with it during language lessons. The results of how teachers perceive this subject, how it is classified and how they are successful in achieving the goals specified in the FEP are also part of this work.

Teaching Mathematics through CLIL

This bachelor thesis describes a language teaching method called CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning). In the theoretical part the thesis summarizes basic principles of this method, its possible forms, factors affecting its implementation in schools, its advantages and possible difficulties. Then the thesis focuses on teaching mathematics through CLIL. The practical part contains learning materials for sixth grade pupils on the topic of Projection of Solids in Parallel Projection and a reflection of experience from ZŠ Matice školské in České Budějovice, that participated in a CLIL project focused on teaching mathematics.

This thesis concerns by alternatives usage pc and internet in education of languages. The aim of thesis is summary of alternatives, which computer engineering offers during foreignlanguage education today. This bachelor thesis is classified into two main parts. In the first part the theoretical introduction is defined to electronical education and his infiltration to education of foreign languages. The second part is aimed for education of foreign languages in the component areas electronical education. These areas are analyzed to details in component sections. In fine of these sections is covered up summary of influence multimedial elements for particular area of education.
