Notice of termination of employment by an employer
Kašparová, Kristýna ; Soušková, Milena (advisor) ; Spirit, Michal (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to provide readers with a complex view of legal regulation for the notice of termination of employment by an employer, which is governed by the Labour Code. I tried to explain possible ways how the employer would terminate the employment by a notice. An employer shall apply only the reasons for termination listed in the Labour Code. The work is divided into three main parts. The first chapter describes the particular reasons for termination. I highlight the problematic situations which arise from practice; distinguish the reasons for termination, which are often used interchangeably. In the second chapter, I apply the legal regulations to the specific legal cases that were decided by the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. In the third chapter, I give an overview of the infringement of obligations by the employers for the years 2009, 2013 and 2014 and the penalties which were awarded.

Cervanová, Iva ; Soušková, Milena (advisor) ; Spirit, Michal (referee)
This thesis is about the dismissal from the employer party. The first chapter is about a dismissal as a phenomenon, where the dismissal is looked at as a special kind of social problem. In following chapter I describe history of both employment law in general and dismissal in particular. Current Czech enactment is described in details in chapter three. The next part is focused on dismissal in other European countries, Great Britain and Germany. The main goal of this thesis is to summarize development which led to existing enactment, to describe the existing enactment and to suggest some changes which are based mainly on experience from abroad.
