Application of decision-making models in Labodenta

This thesis focuses on the selection of appropriate options by way of the multi-criteria decision-making analysis for the acquisition of equipment for the firings of dental ceramics and dental bridges. The objective of this work is to use the most effective method possible in selecting a ceramic furnace for the private dental offices Labodenta, v.o.s. This thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the basic terminology used in dental stomatology. The decision-making process, which is ranked as one of the most significant activities of this time, is addressed as well. As well, the options of multi-criteria decision-making analysis, the methods used in determining calculations and a SWOT analysis will be described. The practical part includes the assignment of criteria weights based on the information acquired; by using an appropriate calculation method, a specific option will be selected for the purchase. The conclusion of this work assesses the actual selection, which will be recommended.

Modern Methods and Tools to Support Managerial Decision

This master's thesis is focused on modern methods and tools to support managerial decision-making. The first part of this thesis introduces the basic characteristics related to the management and managerial decision-making that are subsequently extended to the area of modeling, simulation, optimization and multi-criteria decision making. It also outlines the relationship between the managerial decision-making tasks. The second part introduces practical examples which show the connection of these areas. Specifically, they are a colony of ants, traveling salesman problem, a tool AnyLogic, analytic hierarchy process and simulation HealthBound. The thesis is further supplemented by an appropriate software tools to support multi-criteria decision making.
Models of goal programming and their application

The aim of this thesis is to make a model of a goal programming and to show its usage on practical examples. The goal programming is the most frequent method of searching for compromise solution to task of multi-criteria programming so that's why at the begenning of this thesis these methods are described with various ways of searching for compromise solution. The second chapter deals with the goal programming.Furthermore, based on a concrete example is showed the procedure of solving the decision problem using the goal programming model and linear programming model. The fourth chapter is about optimalisation system LIONGO, which can be used to solve the goal programming problems.

This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is dealing with the theoretical definition of the research issues - loans and multicriteria decision making. The second part focuses on the factual selection of the optimal variant for the selected client's loan. In this selection was used methods of multicriteria comparison. It were also compared loans from banks and loans which are provided by non-banking companies.

This thesis deals with the multicriterial decision of the alternatives housing finance. It is divided into two parts - the first one deals with the theoretical definition of the mortgage loans to the individuals as well as it deals the areas of multicriterial decision methods. The second part is devoted to the selection of a suitable bank mortgage loan for the client, based on the methods of multicriterial decision of the options. Selection of the optimal mortgage loan is divided into two different scenarios - buying an apartment and building a house.
Multi-criteria evaluation of mortgages

The aim of this thesis is to find suitable mortgage, describe important criteria for comparison of mortgages and what types of mortgages the banks offer. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into four parts. At first, I describe methods of determining the weights and methods of multi-criteria decision making. Then I focus on information about mortgage loan and about loan application process. In the third part I present variants and criteria and in the fourth I detect the best mortgage. I used WSA, TOPSIS, ELECTRE III and MAPPAC and add-on of Microsoft Excel - Sanna.
The Deadweight Loss of Christmas in the Czech Republic

Gift-giving is a potential source of deadweight loss (DWL), which is by the standard microeconomic theory regarded as a loss of economic efficiency. The aim of this thesis is to determine how big was this DWL in the Czech Republic during Christmas of 2010. The DWL of gift-giving is based on the data collected from a questionnaire survey of 122 respondents who provided 366 observations. Respondents were asked to estimate the value of their gifts, based on their willingness to pay for them and their willingnes to sell them. The results indicate that there is deadweight loss of gift-givnig in the Czech Republic, ranging between 8,6 % and 10,9 % of market price.

The aim of this thesis is to make a model of a goal programming and to show its usage on practical examples. The goal programming is the most frequent method of searching for compromise solution to task of multi-criteria programming and that is why I describe characteristics of tasks of multi-criteria programming and various ways of searching for compromise solution in the second chapter. The third chapter deals with the goal programming. I describe its characteristics and formulate a general model. The fourth chapter treats of the robust goal programming and in the fifth chapter I mention several practical examples solved with the help of the general model.
