Theological reflection of writings of Hilary of Poitiers

The thesis deals with the antropology of Hilary of Poitiers, who is a Father of the Church from the fourth century, on the basis of his commentary of the Sermon on the Mount, which is a part of his work Commentarius in Matthaeum. In the first part the thesis outlines the life of Hilary and his literary activity and this work put into the historical context. From the second to the fourth part it is analysis of the Hilary's antropology on the basis of the selected passage. The last part then concerns with comparison of this antropology with antropology of the other Father of the Church - Gregory of Nyssa.

The mystery of Jesus Christ's life in reflections of guests and staff of Radio Proglas The thesis is written at the Department of Dogmatic and Fundamental Theology of Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague under the lead of prof. Ctirad V. Pospíšil, Th.D. The main source of author's research is the collection of 230 minutes of Radio Proglas programme called "Myšlenka na den" (The Thought of the Day). This collection is analyzed form the point of the view of Christology and soteriology. The second source is the theological literature, especially the prof. Ctirad V. Pospíšil's monography Jesus of Nazareth, Lord and Saviour, which is used as the theoretical base of the thesis. This theoretical base is illustrated by appropriate texts from the programme "Myšlenka na den". "Myšlenka na den" is the everyday programme: a reflection, where its author contemplates and comments the events of the civic and liturgical year. It is a personal reflection of people of Christian faith. The authors of "Myšlenka na den", guests and staff of Radio Proglas, are in 90 per cents of Roman Catholic confession. The Poet of the Word: Christology in the Work of T.S. Eliot

Title: The Poet of the Word: Christology in the Work of T.S. Eliot The thesis focuses on the Christological analysis of the work of T. S. Eliot, a poet, dramatist and critic. The thesis is divided into two chapters. The first chapter describes historical and cultural background of Eliot's work, basic facts about his life and his literary and critical input. The first chapter is concluded by a reflection about the reception of T. S. Eliot in the Czech Republic and about the translation of his work to Czech. The second chapter contains the Christological analysis of Eliot's poetry and plays. The chapter starts with an analysis of Christological titles in individual poems. The second part of the chapter deals with the important moments of Jesus' life mentioned in Eliot's poems and dramas. Theology of Hildegarda of Bingen

Dissertation work 'Theology of Hildegard von Bingen' introduces theology of this medieval abatyss, teacher, preacher and holy woman. First part of this work is a summary of Hildegard's life and it also outlines the nature of her work. It is followed by explanation of Hildegard von Bingen's position as a female theologist. Further, the work offers an overview of intepretations of Hildegard's theology in the works of great theologians interested in mysticism of twentieth century. Namely the legacy of Hildegard von Bingen in the works of Evellin Underhill, Dorothee Soelle and Matthew Fox. To understand Hildegard's theology it is vital to understand her theological method and the way her visionary works are constructed. Therefore next chapter deals with Hildegard von Bingen as a mystic and her use of knowledge and experience as a source of her mystical visions. Last part is about Hildegard's theology itself. Her possitive cosmology, mariology, ethics, soteriology and all above her theology of creation.

Four models of Christ event representation on background Romans 5,12-21

The work connects in discussion of problems of Christ event representation in Romans 5,12-21 four theological models: mythical {--} inspired by Mircea Eliade, demythological of Rudolf Bultmann, Cullmann{\crq}s model of salvation history and model of literary science presented by scholars of University in Yale. Mythical model deals problem with rituals and by narration try to represent Christ event in life of each individual. Rudolf Bultmann reacts to this model by demythologizing, when he try to find sense and kernel of Gospels. Oscar Cullmann describes salvation of humankind in process of salvation history. Life of people participated on Christ event in salvation history in eclesial-sacramental principles. Possibilities of formulating story about reality and possibility of its subjective evaluation investigates model of literary science. This model terminates this discussion by structure of biblical passage and by specifying of individual roles in story, which can be typological identified in life of readers.
