Technology solution with cutting operation of "cover" component
Chlád, Luboš ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
In mentioned solution technology of cover part is processed component analysis, proposal of semi-finished product and production technology. In this thesis are selected concrete cutting machines, tools and technological process is elaborated. At the end the techno-economic evaluation is done. This evaluation deals with calculation of times for separate cutting operations, number of machines, tools and workers.
Analysis of durability and costs of monolithic milling and drilling tools
Kašpar, David ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the durability of different types of monolithic drilling and milling tools made of high-speed steel and sintered carbide. The theoretical part deals with durability, possible types of wear of monolithic drilling and milling tools and related circumstances. The practical part examines the durability of different types of tools for drilling and milling, their comparison in terms of cost and productivity of machining and their impact on production costs in the production of a simple part.
Monolithic milling tools with PVD coatings and their use
Ševčík, Jan ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the monolithic milling tools carbide on the surface which is deposited by a thin layer of rating on. First of all, the thesis describes the method of milling, the basic division of milling operations and milling tools, power analysis tool load. Then, it is analyzed problems of cemented carbides, its production, properties and dividing into groups. After that it is described characteristic of coating methods, especially the PVD method, and its modifications. The last part is devoted to producer’s offers of coated monolithic mills. There are introduced few selected tools and described its characteristics, geometry and application suitability.
Inconel 718 machining for aerospace applications
Urbánek, Vojtěch ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is aimed at exploring the properties, usage and issues with milling of the Inconel 718 for aerospace applications. In the theoretical part a study of superalloys and their properties for successfull application in aircraft engines was conducted. Further the machinability classes, cutting materials and process of milling focusing on milling of the Inconel 718 are described. The experimental part deals with measuring and evaluation of cutting forces when milling the Inconel 718 with cemented carbide and ceramic cutting tools.
Modern methods in drilling.
Kodys, Martin ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with modern methods in drilling. In the first part, the drilling methods are divided, followed by each method description and practical usage. The second part is devoted to the way of orientation in products of couple most significant producers of drilling tools.
Cemented carbides for machining of stainless steels
Kakáč, Martin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with stainless steels and their machining, cemented carbides, both coated and uncoated. The first chapter is devoted to a detailed distribution of stainless steel, its properties and their use in practice. Next cemented carbide are characterized as a whole. From the species, production marking via physical and mechanical properties to the coating. The last chapter is focused on cemented carbides for machining stainless steels. Tools from companies WNT, Pramet Tools and Sandvik Coromant are selected. The com-parison of recommended cutting conditions in the area of application of stainless steels. It is made practical test with indexable cutting insert HCN 2125 by WNT.
Production and General Use of Cemented Carbides
Světelský, Jakub ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The goal of the submitted thesis is to describe manufacture of cermented carbides and their coating. After that the submitted thesis shows application diffrent type of cermented carbides on specific materials and it compare them.
Modern cutting cemented carbide tools
Štefek, Jaromír ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with modern cutting cemented carbide tools. In the first section are stated several basic innovations already used tools for basic machining operations, which is turning, milling and drilling. It continues with analysis of single materials for production of cemented carbides, non coated as well as coated and with comparing of their properties. There are listed the basic cutting properties of the cutting tools after that. The penultimate point of the work is optimization of the basic machining operations, namely roughing and finishing, for a given application, which is in this case turning on the lamp stand. Finally, everything is summed up and evaluated in the conclusion.
Tools Made from Cemented Carbide
Opršál, Ladislav ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The thesis focuses on cutting tools made of both coated and uncoated cemented carbides. The first part of the thesis deals with the division of materials used for the production of the tools. The second part of the thesis introduces uncoated cemented carbides, special attention being paid to the labelling, production and properties of such compounds. The third part of the thesis presents coating deposition techniques and examines the properties of coating layers. Coating layers are produced using two different methods – CVD and PVD. The last part of the thesis compares the properties of the cutting tools (e.g. their cutting values) produced by the companies Pramet Tools, Sandvik – Coromant and Seco Tools.
Production technology of selected range of tools with application of high-productivity equipment
Zdařil, David ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Chladil, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work is to analyze the issue of providing cutting tools for internal use in the company STERCH-INTERNATIONAL s.r.o. It is mainly the production and regrinding of end mills and drills for specific machining applications, whose benefit lies in increased efficiency and flexibility of production, which also brings a significant cost reduction.
