SIP client in Java
Zukal, Martin ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a design of a client-based application with the utilization of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The first part describes SIP with an emphasis on basic concepts. Then a brief description of the Java programming language which will be used for the implementation follows. The most extensive part is devoted to the description of a design and implementation of the application. Some techniques used during the development of the applicaton are being discussed in this part. The thesis is finished up with test scenarios verifying functionality of the application.
IMS multimedia services
Dohnálek, Václav ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mácha, Tomáš (advisor)
This master thesis refers to a new technology in a mobil services IP multimedia subsystem. First, the theoreticl part, refers to the architectury of this technology and elementary protocols. Although it is real-time services, is nesessary to refer about the Quality of Services, that it ensures the condent transmition of data. The second, practisy part refers to a the development background SDS 4.0 FD1 from Ericsson ltd., that it is used develop aplications for IMS technology. It will be to develop the aplication , that it used to the IMS and it refers to the elementary function and comunication.
Securing IP PBX against attacks and resistance testing
Kakvic, Martin ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on attacks on PBX Asterisk, FreeSWITCH and Yate in LTS versions. In this work was carried out two types of attacks, including an attack DoS and the attack Teardown. These attacks were carried out using two different protocols, SIP and IAX. During the denial of service attack was monitored CPU usage and detected if its possible to establish call and whether if call can be processed. The Security of PBX was build on two levels. As a first level of security there was used linux based firewall netfilter. The second level of security was ensured with protocols TLS and SRTP.
Testing Performance Parameters of SIP VoIP Using Spirent Test Center
Slivka, Miroslav ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with benchmarking of SIP VoIP networks by Spirent TestCenter device and its software application Avalanche. Results of this work show the way of using Spirent TestCenter Avalanche for SIP VoIP testing. Solution of this work involves creation of testing methodology, containing test scenarios depending on license limitations of Spirent TestCenter along with a presentation of outputs of the tests. Besides creating of tests for Spirent TestCenter there will also be presented another technologies for testing VoIP networks.
Asterisk VoIP private branch exchange and its distributions
Melichar, Ondřej ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Papež, Nikola (advisor)
This master’s thesis delves into the possibilities of the open-source Private Branch Exchange Asterisk, elaborates on its features and compares it with several other distros. The term SIP stack is explained here with the mention of two of its representatives. Further in the thesis, the security risks of the VoIP technology are explained, and specific attacks are described and then realized. As a part of the testing process, the possibilities of a custom module and its following implementation are explored, as well as the portability between the individual distros and its proper functioning.
Modular web interface for Asterisk PBX
Moučka, Martin ; Rášo, Ondřej (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is dealing with various ways of configuring Asterisk PBX and creating a modular web interface. This interface’s goal is to simplify the configuration of PBX and allow expanding its functions by adding new modules. Apart from a simple configuration, interface contains a self care zone where user can check his call history and keep his own phone book. As part of this work, there are two modules especially useful in environment of technical support and call centers. Those modules provide an opportunity to create interactive voice response menu, calling automat and queues management. Interface depends on Asterisk in version 13 which is the newest version with long term support. The application is secured by user account management with role assigning. The role can be modified by permitting only specified actions.
Implementation of VoIP System 3CX
Sommer, Vojtěch ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is explanation of VoIP and description of implementation in company environment. Company which have choosen this solution is converting to this solution from old landline connections. Thesis is devided in theoretical explanation of SIP communication and implementation of the system.
Monitoring VoIP Networks
Drozda, Tomáš ; Marek, Marcel (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the monitoring VoIP networks. The main objective of this work was to design and then to program monitoring systems for IP telephony network using SIP signaling protocol, primarily for billing purposes. Another important objective was to explore the possibility of obtaining geographic location of the communicating stations. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the description of the SIP protocol. The rest of the thesis is focused to the design and implementation of the system. The system was implemented as a set of console applications that are complemented by a web application that is used to display the obtained data. Geolocation was solved with the help of IPInfoDb services that provides API for obtaining geolocation information.
IMS based multimedia services
Novotný, Roman ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Mácha, Tomáš (advisor)
Submitted work describes IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and focuses on services offered by this technology. In the theoretical part of the thesis is a detailed description of the IMS architecture, in the terms of its components and interfaces. Also a SIP protocol is described as the main signalling protocol, which represents the basis of the IMS architecture and RTP protocol that allows the transmission of multimedia data in real-time. Further, there are provided services that the IMS system brings. The practical part of the work describes the design and implementation of services within the IMS. It is a client-server service. Server part of the system is implemented as a SIP Servlet application. It has access to the MySQL database, which stores records of multimedia files. Client registered in the IMS network can communicate with the SIP servlet sending a request for information on such files. Following this communication, the client can play the file in his online ICP application, or download it into his PC and then play. To play and view multimedia fines is used JMF. The service is implemented in a development environment SDS Ericsson 4.1, which allows simulation of the IMS network.
Design and Performance Analysis of Parallel Processing of SRTP Packets
