Various risk analysis in investment projects is included in the description. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of economic efficiency including the risk assessment of investment project called „Building construction of nursery school in Svatobořice-Mistřín.

The bachelor thesis focuses on risk management in a construction company. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part introduces the risks in projects, provides information about the basic division and management. The practical part works with the already acquired theoretical knowledge on a specific construction contract, includes the identification of risks, evaluation and finally their treatment to reduce the impact or eliminate it completely.

Diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of selected process of company JOSA KOVO s.r.o. and on the detection of selected risks. Acquired knowledge from the theoretical part is utilized for the application of selected risk analysis method in the practical part. Detection of risks will be performed with the use of analysis of internal and external company environment and risk analysis method. Identified risks will be evaluated and with the use of acquired knowledge there will be made a proposal of recommendations and measures, which will lead to reduction of risks. Diploma thesis provides a comprehensive view of measuring and reducing risks in business environment, in terms of theoretical methods and also practical application for a selected company.

Risk Management inside Construction Company

The aim of the thesis is to analyse issues of risk management in a construction company, especially in the context of construction contracts implementation. The first part is devoted to applied terminology and interpretation of relevant terms, followed by a classification of risks from different perspectives, including the risks’ possible further sub classification. Furthermore, significant risk resources and construction participants who might be affected by the risks are presented. The third chapter deals with risk management; individual phases of this complex process are described herein, including their correct sequences, as well as a selection of methods and techniques that are standardly used in risk management. The last, fourth chapter summarises the problems of risk management on a practical example, where a construction company implements a construction contract by applying selected risk management methodologies.

Decision Risks Management Methods

This thesis deals with the matter of risk managament in IT projects. It explains the importance of risk management in such projects and shows different ways and methods of managing and analyzing the risks. After explaining the basic concepts and the various phases of risk management the text focuses on two methods of risk analysis - the fault tree analysis of event tree analysis. Use of both methods is explained for both quantitative and qualitative analyses. The second half of the work includes the design of an application for the support of risk analysis employing the methods of fault tree analysis and event tree analysis. This is followed by a description of the implementation of the proposed system in a web environment using jQuery, Nette Framework and Dibi.

The practical part pays closer attention to a specific construction contract, in which case the acquired theoretical knowledge is applied. Furthermore, it includes the identification of risks, their evaluation and the motion of the precautions against increasing their impact or elimination.

The diploma thesis is focused on a selection of company, which an identification of risks and their causes is elaborated for. The selected company is AB JET spol. s.r.o., where systematic identification of company's risks and their core causes, evaluation of discovered risks' weight and specification of possible negative consequences were performed by using method IPR (Identification of Processes and Risks). Processed results should be used as a template for suggestions of preventive measures.

Risk management in company AT CAR, s.r.o. with focus on its branch Brno is the main topic of this thesis. As for the risk management itself, the most important tasks are identification, analysis and reducing the possible risks. These processes are described and discussed in the theoretical part of the thesis, while it also introduces all important terms related to this topic. In the analytical part, the risks are identified using appropriate methods such as SLEPTE analysis, Porter’s Five Forces and 7S model. The risks identified are thereafter evaluated using the scoring method. In the last part, recommendations and measures for reducing the risk are presented.

Operation of transportation and haulage firms and its risks

The diploma thesis deals with risk management in a selected company, which is ČSAD LOGISTIK Ostrava, a. s. This thesis is divided into two parts, where the first part deals with the analysis of the current situation, which is the transport sector in the Czech Republic and its relevant legislation. Subsequently also deals with the terms related to the identification, analysis and elimination of risks. In the second part is the theoretical knowledge is applied in such a way, that from the results obtained with What IF and FMEA analyzes is later created a suggested plan for risk prevention and its elimination.
