This thesis deals with the design and elaboration process of a project documentation of a sports centre. The designed sports centre building is situated in the southern part of the town of Polička, in the area determined for sports and free time activities complexes and areas. It is a two-floor, non-cellar, flat-roof building. It is based on plain concrete strip foundations and reinforced concrete foundation footing. The bearing, peripheral and partition walls are designed from POROTHERM hollow clay blocks. Reinforced concrete columns are designated in open disposition areas. The ceiling construction is made from SPIROLL pre-stressed concrete floor slabs and point-supported reinforced concrete slabs. The peripheral walls of the first aboveground floor are insulated with external thermal insulation system with a protective gabion facade. The peripheral wall thermal insulation in a bowling restaurant and gym halls extension is designed from a ventilated facade with CEMBRIT METRO facade cladding panels. The building is functionally divided into two main parts with a shared entrance. The sports centre with gyms and other sports facilities form the first part. Three squash courts, a mini-football piste, a special room for spinning and alpinning, a room for group exercising and cloakrooms with sanitary facilities are designed within one part of the sports centre. A restaurant with a bowling area and a kitchen with storerooms and other facilities for employees form the second part. The designed complex is barrier-free. There is aimed to be a car park for fifty cars, four motorbikes and a bus in front of the building. Three parking places are for disabled people.

For better check and comparison were create 2D spatial bar models of selected frames.
Strengthening reinforced concrete column confined by FRP fabric
Kostiha, Vojtěch ; prof. Ing. Alois Materna, CSc., MBA (referee) ; Bilčík,, Juraj (referee) ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor)
The doctoral thesis deals with the strengthening of reinforced concrete columns by FRP fabric wrapping. Its aim is to describe the principles of confinement based on the analytical study, numerical simulations and the results of the experimental program. The description of the confinement philosophy is made with respect to the type of FRP material used. It was therefore possible to present a design process of confinement, which accurately predicts the behaviour of the confined columns. At the same time, some effects limiting the effect of confinement (e.g. the method of wrapping, the number of FRP fabric layers, the slenderness of the element, etc.) are included in the design. The dissertation also presents basic information about FRP material and its properties and gives an overview of design approaches of the FRP confined columns. The dissertation also pointing out the shortcomings of the design code ČSN EN 1992-1-1. The stated example highlights the significant variation in properties of confined concrete determined by selected approaches. This variation of properties complicates the design of this strengthening method. The experimental program was used to verify the basic principles of confinement and, through high columns, allowed a description of the behaviour in almost the whole range of interaction diagram. The conclusions of the work provide information on possible future research direction.
Building with civic amenities
Nekorancová, Anna ; Majsniar, Michal (referee) ; Brukner, Bohuslav (advisor)
The subject of this thesis was the project documentation processing for the new construction of a polyfunctional office building in Trenčín. The building consists of four above-ground floors and one underground floor and is made up of several functional parts. There is a coffee bar, two smaller shops and a reception for the administrative part of the building on the first floor. The administrative space is located on the second and third above-ground floors. There are six apartment units on the fourth above-ground floor with assigned parking spaces in the garage on the first underground floor. The framework of the building consists of a reinforced concrete monolithic skeletal structure with two stiffening reinforced concrete cores, where a staircase with an elevator shaft is located in. The above-ground perimeter infill structures between the columns are partly designed as monolithic reinforced concrete walls, there is a light perimeter shell delimiting part of the building perimeter with a length of thirteen and a half meters from the south-eastern part of the building, the roof of the building is a flat single-skin roof. Part of the project was the assessment of the building's fire safety, the thermal technical assessment, the construction design solution, the architectural-construction solution, and the building physics perspective evaluation.
Family House with Aerobics and Fitness Studio
Nekorancová, Anna ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis was to elaborate project documentation for a new family house with the Aerobics and Fitness Studio establishment. The building is divided into two functionally separate parts, a family house for a family of four and the Aerobics and Fitness Studio facility. The building has two floors above ground and one underground and it has partial basement. The building is located in the village, where the construction of houses and infrastructure is planned to be. The skeleton of the building consists of a combined structural system of vertical walls made of ceramic blocks and the connection of a reinforced concrete ceiling structure, where it was necessary to design reinforced concrete columns with gutters as a supporting structure for large overlaps. The roof of the building consists of a flat roof what is designed as a vegetation roof. The family house also includes a garage, which is located on the first underground floor with a capacity of three parking spaces. The emphasized attention was paid to technical requirements, functionality, purposefulness, and housing demands during the processing of project documentation. Part of the project was the assessment of fire safety of the building, thermal technical assessment, building design solution, architectural-building solution, evaluation in terms of building physics.
