Comparison of selected certificate authorities in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with basic principles of electronic signature and functions of certificate authorities, which is complemented with description of legislation environment in Czech Republic. The second part of the thesis includes methodology for comparison of certificate authority's functions in the field of qualified personal certificates. This methodology is afterwards applied for comparison of functions of accredited certificate authorities operating in Czech Republic and for determination of the best authority according to defined criteria and their significance weights.
The issue of electronic communications between clients and social security authorities.

The bachelor thesis is focused on electronic communication between clients and social security bodies. It surveys the electronic services provided, describes the functioning principles and monitors utilization of the services by the clients. The objective of the bachelor thesis is to ascertain the current level of electronic communication between social security bodies and their clients. The attention is given to correct utilization of individual electronic services by the clients. The theoretical part characterizes the electronic services provided by social security bodies and thier embodiment in legal regulations. It also describes the terms most frequently used in the concerned issue. On the basis of the content analysis of the statistical data, the practical part analyses the obtained data and draws attention to the strengths and the weaknesses of the electronic services provided, with regard to the current state of the information and computer literacy of clients of social security bodies. Using common examples from practice, the basic procedures of establishing and using electronic services are described. The thesis is concluded with the results specifying certain problematic issues that may discourage a client establishing electronic communication with social security bodies from its further use. The thesis also points out to the diverse degrees of utilization of individual electronic services provided by social security bodies.
Electronic signature: UK and Czech legislation comparison

Electronic signature is more and more used technology. This work should get near us its function and compare both legislations. First part is about function of electronic signature and about its types. Second part is about both legislations, which are nect compared. Then it is about some possibilities, how to make electronic signature used more by ordinary people. At the end there are some examples of electronic signature usage.
