Results of periodic gynecological examination of cows in selected breeding
VYHNAL, Jan
This bachelor thesis is focused on periodic ultrasonographic examination of cattle. There is ever-increasing incidence of acyclia, ovarial cysts and postpartum complications in breeding cows with the increase of yield of dairy cows. It is important to detect these problems in time and to start effective treatment. The aim of the thesis was the year-round continuous examonation of reproduction functions in the selected breeding focused mainly on ultrasonographic examination of gravidity, postpartum period and ovariam function in fourty days. The results were evaluated according to the order of lactation, the breed affiliation, the season of the year and the level of milk yield. The most complications during puerperium were recorded in calves of the breeds Aberdeen Angus and Belgian Blue-White. The service period was mostly affected by the milk yield level, calving season and breed affiliation. The insemination interval was affected only by breed affilliation. The occurrence of acyclia is most affected also by the breed affilliation, the calving season and the level of lactation. The calving period, the breed affiliation and the order of lactation mostly affect the occurence of cysts. The insemination index is affected mostly by the order and level of lactation and the calving period. The success of the sexed insemination doses is lower than conventional doses.

One of the chapters describes a childbirth and all his periods of birth (first, second, third and fourth). The end of the theoretical part is described the characteristic of the puerperium. The practical part of the bachelor thesis was based of a qualitative research survey. One research group was created with the help of semi-structured interviews, which was carried out with midwives working in the delivery room at Český Krumlov Hospital, a.s. and at the Hospital of České Budějovice, a.s. There were total an eleven midwives. The main criterion for the research survey was requirement for midwives to work in the delivery room and have experience with the birth plan. Before the interviews began, the topic of the bachelor's thesis was explained to all midwives and it was pointed out that the information obtained would remain anonymous. Interviews were conducted with the consent of the midwives. The individual interviews were recorded on a dictaphone and then literally transcribed. This was followed by data analysis and processing. To evaluate the data, two main categories and ten subcategories were identified.

The researh section is focused on interviewing women on their experience of labour and at the end i summarize information about how well they are informed about methods of preventing birth injury and how the injury influences their sex life. For the research i made a questionare, which was posted online on different social media in groups, which are related to pregnancy. The questions are multichoice or the answers can be given directly. The questionare was only for women, who already gave a birth and only spontaneous delivery rather then caesar section. The results have shown that mothers are well informed about the possibilities of preventing a birth injury but infomation are not from relevant source. Other results show that those who used some of the methodes of preventing birth injury, as perineum massage, aniball and more, had smaller birth injury and faster and less...

Švabíková, Lucie ; Žižka, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Novotný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kacerovský, Marian (referee)
Introduction: Actually 0.7-1 percent of all deliveries can be followed by secondary uterine bleeding. There is a residual trophoblastic tissue diagnosed in most of these cases and it is often managed by repeat intrauterine interventions. These operations are connected with high risk of formation of intrauterine adhesions and their early diagnosis and management can be important for next fertility. Material and methods: There were generally 188 patients included into the study. All patients underwent ultrasound examination in 6 weeks after delivery and ambulant hysteroscopy after next 2 months without anesthesia. Described intrauterine pathologies (residual tissue and adhesions) were managed in one step. Results: In cases with suspect ultrasound finding, the retained trophoblastic tissue was diagnosed by hysteroscopy in 66 percent vs. in 96 percent with sensitivity 85 percent and specificity 85 percent. Patients with intrauterine adhesions had normal ultrasound finding in 74 percent and it did not recognized patients with severe adhesions in 94 percent. Clinical signs had generally 72 percent of patients with diagnosed left residual tissue. Number of severe residual tissue is increasing with delay of instrumental evacuation from delivery (10 vs. 30 percent). When is necessary to repeat the operation...
