The analysis of the household insurance products on the Czech insurance market

The goal of the thesis is to examine the current state of the household insurance market in the Czech Republic and to compare the products available on the market. The first part of the thesis aims to generally characterize the product. It starts with the basic terminology, such as the object insured, risk covered, insurance premium and it provides elementary household insurance types recognition. Next, a description is provided of specific products offered by different insurance companies. Their description contains the extent of the risk covered, advantages, assistance services and other specifics of the given products. In the next part, a product analysis is performed based on specifically chosen criteria followed by an example. The current situation of household insurance on the Czech insurance market is also examined. The thesis concludes by summing up the information about the analyzed products.

Any man and any company can be endangered by risks. People can be mostly at risk of an accident, death, or destroying of his property. On the other hand, companies can be at risk of natural disasters or financial problems. Risks can endanger the existence of people as well as companies and for this reason insurance was created. The topic of this Bachelor work is Non-life Insurance {--} Contemporary Trends. The Bachelor work focuses on household insurance describes in detail its basic characteristics together with a comparison of this insurance product offered by two Czech insurance companies. It outlines advantages and disadvantages from the point view of potential clients. One section of the work is devoted to a comparison of household insurance offered by Allianz in the Czech Republic with the same product offered by the same insurance company in Slovakia.

The analysis of household insurance of the five highest insurance companies in the Czech Republic should at first familiarize reader with the theory of this topic. The next step of my thesis is to focus on the five highest insurance companies, which are Česká pojišťovna, Kooperativa, Allianz, ČSOB and Generali and describe the individual products of these companies according to the contemporary offer on the market. The main part and aim of the thesis is the analysis and resulting comparison of the products of the household insurance according to available information. In conclusion, I will evaluate the information based on the created analysis.

Property insurance focused on building insurance and household insurance

The graduation thesis focuses on two products of property insurance, building insurance and household insurance. The theoretical section shortly clarifies a base characterization of these two products. In practical part is a theory of insurance connect through different method of statistical analysis and actuarial calculations in order to detailed analysis of grade pointer, time series, influence factors identification or for purpose of international comparison. Following software were used to attain defined goals: MS Excel 2007, SPSS 13 for Windows, NCSS and Statgraphics Centurion. The mentioned analyses are based on real data which were made available by ČAP.

The bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of property insurance of population in conditions of the Czech insurance market. It is kind of a general insurance that people may use to protect against inconvenient events. The first part of the thesis reminds historical evolution and analyses the insurance market and organizations which are focused on this topic. There is also an explanation of fundamental terms, the general insurance of population is set into the system, further it specifies particular kinds of insurance that deals with household and building insurance. In the next part, there is a description of insurance progress from a contract to a liquidating operation including disbursement of the insurance. There are also concrete examples. In the final part, there is comparison of some products of three insurance companies -- Česká pojišťovna, Česká podnikatelská pojišťovna and Allianz.
