Network and Application Response Time Monitoring
Sagál, Peter ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with analysis of requirements, design and implementation of application for monitoring of network, network components and application's response time, network components and applications. Document will introduce two basic methods of monitoring and analysis of network responses - passive and active monitorng, which is the basis of suggested application that provides a web interface for management and presentation of monitoring results.
Web Portal for Network and Application Response Time Monitoring
Holomek, Tomáš ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is interested in network traffic monitoring. Its goal is to analyze its problems and create easy to use system, which will be able to monitor network devices and services. Basic part is a daemon that runs tests and colects statistics. It is controlled by intuitive user interface, developed using PHP and HTML languages.
Web Portal for Network and Application Response Time Monitoring
Bubeník, Martin ; Kaštil, Jan (referee) ; Košař, Vlastimil (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with analysis, design and implementation of a system for network and services responses monitoring. The work is dedicated to two ways of tracking responses, an active one and a passive one. The active mode simulates the realistic requirements for services in the network and it measures time required for the operation. The passive method examines the response of services by means of listening on the network and by network traffic analyzing. Then, both of the methods store all consolidated data in databases. Management of monitoring and display of measured responses is provided by a web interface that allows each user to see monitored objects and to compare responses obtained by the active and the passive monitoring.
Web Portal for Network and Application Response Time Monitoring
Hornický, Pavol ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the design and implementation of system for the response time monitoring of network services. This thesis describes the basic techniques used for such monitoring, and describes in detail the active monitoring. The core of the resulting system is the automated responses measurement of network services using standard UNIX programs. The web interface gives a clear view of captured responses using rrdtool graphs. The web interface is also used for monitoring management.
HTTP Application Performance Monitoring
Knapik, Martin ; Kováčik, Michal (referee) ; Bartoš, Václav (advisor)
Goal of this bachelor thesis was to create solution for monitoring and analysis of network performance of HTTP server using Nemea framework and NetFlow data. For this purpose, I've created Nemea module for filtering, parsing and saving NetFlow data enhanced by informations gained from HTTP plugin on exporter. For analysis and user interface, webpage based on Django framework was created, used for displaying statistics that are useful for users in order to reveal problems with monitored servers. Result of my work is product, which is demonstrating possibility of using of Nemea system for passive monitoring of HTTP servers.
