Geocaching Hiking Trail - The Footsteps of the Horse Railway České Budějovice - Linec

This thesis deals with the Geocaching trail - In the footsteps of the horse railway Czech Budejovice - Linz. The work shows the possibility of the involvement of new media (here geocaching) into the educational offer of the museum on a specific topic (horse railway). The theoretical part is therefore devoted to the characteristics of museum pedagogy, creating educational materials, geocaching game, and horse-drawn rail. The practical section outlines the preparation of interactive educational programme, which in addition to the acquisition of specific historical knowledge it conveys to children work with modern technologies and stay outdoors, thus emphasizes experiential education methodology. The first part explains the procedure for setting up a new cache, thus the identification of a territory, work in the field and finding the correct geographic coordinates of the final cache. The second part is devoted to preparing the cache, its creation and publication. The last chapter of the practical part is about creating worksheets, their form and content.
The Educational programme about folk-customs and traditions using the Permanent Expositions of the Museum of Prácheň in Písek

This Bachelor theses aims at an elaboration of the educational programme about folk-customs and traditions using permanent expositions of the Museum of Prácheň in Písek. Description of this programme realisation and the subsequent evalutation is an integral part of the theses. At first there is theoretically defined the subject of museum education, its objectives and methods. There are also reflected the principles in the creation of museum and educational programmes as well as the rules for preparation of worksheets. The following chapter charts the contemporary museum education in the South Bohemia. Except the Museum of Prácheň in Písek there was described the situation in other major museums (Aleš South Bohemian Gallery, Southern Bohemian Museum in České Budějovice, Regional Museum in Český Krumlov, The Museum of the Jindřichův Hradec Region, Prachatice Museum, Museum of Central Otava Region of Strakonice and Hussite Museum in Tábor) by means of questionnaire at the beginning of 2015.  The third and key chapter is dedicated to the concept of the museum programme at Advent time. It describes the subsequent execution of this project which was implemented with two classes of the Business College and the Language School in Písek before Christmas 2014.
The Museum Phenomenon and Museum Education in the Environment of the Museum of South Bohemia

The thesis focuses on forms of education in the environment of the Museum of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice. Its first part defines the term Museum Phenomenon and introduces the history of museology and the history of various activities of the Town Museum in Ceske Budejovice. It also attempts to chart the very first educational activities of the Museum of Ceske Budejovice and furthermore it introduces its contemporary educational programs. Second part explains the terms Museum Education, Museum Animation and Leisure-time Pedagogy. It also elucidates the different means of museum education. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the pedagogical activities of the Museum of South Bohemia in relation to educational evaluation of leisure time activities. A significant part is dedicated to measuring the fulfillment of the internationally respected definition of ICOM by UNESCO through the means of museum pedagogy. This is also the main subject of the final part of the thesis, which should reflect the importance of museum education in relation to the world cultural heritage. A separate part is dedicated to illustrating a specific educational activity of the Museum of South Bohemia. The appendices present samples of both old and new exhibition worksheets.
Význam muzeí ve výchovně vzdělávacím procesu středních škol

The introductory part of this Bachelor thesis focuses on various didactic methods, especially on activating methods of teaching. Special attention is paid to the methods which are used by museum educators. The author concentrates on museum pedagogy as well as on educational potential of museums. In the case study of the Children's Museum MZM in the town of Brno the essential requirements for developing interactive exhibits are presented. The possibilities of cooperation between the Children's Museum and secondary schools as well as the part of museums in accomplishing the educational aim of secondary schools are summarized in this work. In the second practical part of this paper the author presents the review of educational methods used in the Children's Museum MZM in Brno and studies the importance of didactic aids in the museum educators' work. In addition, there is a concept of a didactic game to be used by secondary school students as an activating issue in the exhibition of natural history in the Children's Museum together with the detailed instructions how to make the didactic aids used in this game.
The Jesuit College in Český Krumlov Options for educational use of regional monument in the classroom and in leisure time

The aim of my thesis is to prepare a creative project in cooperation of primary schools and Gymnasium in Český Krumlov with the National Heritage Institute in České Budějovice. In the project I am going to outline the great educational potential which that discipline may offer to schools. I am going to introduce the educational possibilities of using one monument within the city of Český Krumlov. I am going to link my experience and knowledge with the experience and knowledge of teachers (lecturers who teach history). I am going to proceed from the literature of pedagogy and monument care, regional history, the curriculum, the research and the results of which are published on the website. The project is going to be focused on complementing and diversification of the curriculum, which is discussed in schools and it/the project will contribute not only to the effective presentation of heritage values, but also to the development of education, creativity, and value orientation of the target groups in favour of the voluntary and sustainable care of the cultural heritage.
The Use of Cultural Heritage for Education in Secondary School (for Example of Monastery of Milevsko)

The bachelor thesis "The use of Cultural Heritage for Education in Secondary School (for Example of Monastery of Milevsko)" consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the paper describes the use of cultural heritage in teaching in secondary schools. The work deals with educational programs that implemented the National Heritage Institute, or its regional office in the Czech Budejovice. The following is a brief description of Milevsko monastery and its historical and architectural development. This part also includes a description and evaluation of existing educational activities for kids that have taken place in the monastery of Milevsko. The practical part of the thesis provides concrete proposal for an educational program for high school students focusing on the monastery of Milevsko, description of the implementation of the project and its evaluation.
Experiential learning and interactive training projects in impact on pupils in younger school age.

The work addresses the importance of learning by experience for the development of education in elementary school pupils. The theoretical part of the work analyzes the current situation in the Czech education system, the directions of innovation efforts, and focuses on other opportunities and challenges that come together with modernization of the Czech education. The research primarily pursues an analysis of teachers' view to benefits of interactive educational projects - i.e. their objectives, focus, content and concept of events - in this particular case, interactive exhibits which complement the current system of education. It simultaneously monitors the activity and awareness of questioned teachers in the area of non-traditional methods of education.
Museum Animation for Leisure Education

This study deals with the issue of museum pedagogy and its meaning for free time. The teoretical part defines the concept of the museum's pedagogue and the museum's animator and shows the interconnection between both terminologies. A glance over thehistory of museum pedagogy highlights the most important events in the development of pedagogy as a science. The theoretical part explains especially the relationship between museum's animation and free time pedagogy. The practical part contains the description of the projects that were realised in the context of the Museum Vysociny Trebic. It applies especially the methods of pedagogy of experience and animation. The chosen methods correspond with the age and interests of the participants. The practical part show also the interaction between the museum and the school in the context of the educational process. The successful aktivity of the museum in the area of museum animation is influenced by many factors. The most implortant of those is the personality of the pedagogue of the animator who is working in the given institution.
