Framework jQuery for mobile platforms

This thesis aims to analyze the issue of deployment of the jQuery framework for mobile devices. The work deals with the research that university students use their cell phone to browse the website and whether these sites from the perspective of the user mobile device is sufficiently accessible and welcoming. Based on the results of the executed research, this work also focuses on the description of the implementation of web components that have an impact on the overall level of accessibility and user-friendly Web pages using jQuery Mobile framework.
Development of Web Applications for Operation on Mobile Phones

This thesis discusses workflow and technologies used to create mobile web apps. The thesis focuses mainly on web for touch devices. First part of this work describes differences between mobile phones and personal computers. These differences are compared mainly in task of ergonomic use and technological limits for mobile web browsing. It also discusses common problems of web for mobile devices. Main part of this thesis shows workflow of using technology and design principles for creating mobile web. It discusses patterns for proper graphic design which improves ergonomic use of web on mobile devices. The thesis also shows some software technologies used to developing mobile web. It also compares differences between native and mobile apps and shows some utilities for creating native apps using web technologies. The end of work is shown example of creating native app and different approaches of creating mobile web apps.
Mobile webdesign techniques

This work deals with an analysis of ways to create webpages optimized for mobile devices. Issues concerning current state of mobile market along with theoretical foundations of mobile industry are described in the beginning of the thesis. The main part examines methods of creating webpages for mobiles devices. The imlementation part describes a prototype of a webpage, which is based on analyzed methods.
Mobile web analytics - tool for analysis of the mobile portal traffic

This thesis analyses tools for mobile web portal logs processing which could be used for reporting of required metrics. The area covers not only web analytics, but also mobile web and mobile handsets capabilities. The objective is to analyze possibilities of existing products which can be used to process web logs and choose appropriate existing or propose proprietary solution. This solution should comply with requirements and limitations given by the portal platform limitations. Theoretical part introduces the web analytics domain and the mobile web environment. Basic concepts and metrics are described as well as the fundamental data collection methods and mobile internet basic specifics. The knowledge of the web analytics and mobile web basics are crucial to be able to eruditely assess the tools capabilities introduced in the second part of this thesis. In the practical part, there are technical details on the mobile portal operating environment described. The requirements for the tool outputs are defined there and the prospective ready-to-use solutions are researched. The final part of the text addresses the final solution for the mobile portal reporting tool including the operational data processing. The secondary output of this thesis comprises of explanation of the mobile web analytics area for the broader audience. The main output of the practical part is analysis and specification of the requirements for mobile portal reporting tool and design of the solution with the supervision of the implementation and deployment within the production environment.
Web-based advertising adapted for mobile devices

The bachelor thesis discusses the adaptation of web-based advertising for mobile devices. It presents reasons and the background of this adaptation and compares and contrasts used standards. Besides dominant recommendations by Mobile Marketing Association the work presents other formats, both past and present. In the practical part of the thesis the writer tries to find differences in the usage of mobile advertising between selected European countries and the dependency of mobile advertising on related demographic indicators, using statistical analysis. Although this dependency was not confirmed, the results are applicable in practice.
