Lukáš Smutný DEPARTMENT: Education Management Centre SUPERVISOR: RNDr. Jindřich Kitzberger ABSTRACT: This bachelor project "Legal knowledge of the top managers of Primary schools in Moravia-Silesian region and their direction in basic statutes of school system" investigates level of legal knowledge of headmasters of Primary schools by checking their orientation in school law and law about schoolmasters.Theoretical part resumes theoretical information. Subsequently practical part starts from it. The object of practical part results in research problems of two hypotheses.The first one is if level of legal knowledge of the top managers of Primary schools depends on duration of guide practise and the second hypothesis is if it depends on quantity of graduating educational courses in legislation region and comparison of this level in respect of controlled school and its comlpleteness.This project analyses system of additional education of schoolmasters,it indicates the most considerable institutions in Moravia-Silesian region and suggest equivalent model of schoolmasters and thein additional education.The questionnaires,research and anonymous tests are focus...

Teaching Methods at Small Schools with Mixed-age Classrooms

The diploma thesis is aimed at the teaching methods used in the setting of schools with few classes. The theoretical part engages in the issue of teaching methods, their characteristics, historical development and classification according to various authors. Selected teaching methods are then described in bigger detail. The next section is devoted to the schools with few classes. They are viewed here as community schools or as a pedagogic alternative, the thesis describes the history of schools with few classes and both advantages and disadvantages of their aktivity. The practical part of the thesis was realized via an observing method. The aim of this section of the thesis was to map teaching methods use dat three selected schools with few classes. Results are presented via an analysis of observed classes and chart, which contains the most widely used teaching methods at individual schools.
