Financing of firms - resources of financing

This master thesis deals with financial resources of company. I explain terms such as enterprise financing, capital structure, structure of company assets, long and short-term financing, shareholder's capital, liabilities and their costs. For the qualification purpose I have divided the financial resources into shareholder 0s equity and liabilities. They are separately described in the third and the fourth parts. They are the most importatnt and the widest parts of the whole thesis. The last part is devoted to alternative resources, that companies can use for financing of their business plans. The thesis concentrates on the possibilities of financing for large business companies. The aim of my thesis is to provide its readers with a variety of knowledge on the topic, which should enable them to make thier own financial decision. Ownership Structure of the Company

The aim of this thesis is to classify assets and its structure in relation to the financing of these assets and apply selected methods on a particular company. The main part consists of financial analysis - vertical and horizontal analysis of assets and ratio analysis, especially indicators of activity, liquidity, profitability and debt. An integral part is the actual characteristics of the enterprise in terms of the property construction. The results of analysis are evaluated and serve as a basis for recommending the company to increase efficiency and productivity.

Corporate assets and investment activities of the company

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to considerate the asset structure of the company with a focus on facilities, level, structure and making use of the fixed assets as the basis for assessment of investment activities in the specific terms of the chosen company. This thesis is to assess the importance and the role of the investment activities in the company, investment efficiency and investment decision-making. Following the definitions of basic terms, the analysis of assets structure, assessment of the level of facilities and the use of fixed assets in the chosen company are included. The development in the past five years is also described. The thesis assesses the investment activities in the monitored period and their impact on the efficiency of the management of the company.

The main objective of this thesis was to assess the property structure in the selected company, focusing on amenities, the level and effectiveness of the tangible assets as a basis for evaluating investment activity and its impact on the overall management of the company.

Intercompany comparisons

The aim of this thesis is assessment and presumptions of inter-company comparisons and finds suitable methods for inter-company comparisons. The theoretical part is focused on the ways and appropriate methods for inter-company comparisons, pointer system and their use for inter-company comparisons is used in this part. The one-dimensional and selected multidimensional methods are applied in this work. These methods find position of company in a file of competitive companies. Good characteristics are prerequisite for selection of indicators. Ratio indicators, bankruptcy and solvent models evaluate rate efficiency of the company in period 2008 - 2010. The conclusion of this thesis identifies weaknesses in economy and proposes measures for increase of company´s efficiency.

Property structure of the company in consideration of the specifics of agriculture

The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to classify the property structure of the chosen company including the sources of financing of its single components. The Bachelor Thesis deals with property structure of agricultural company SENAGRO a.s. in comparison with this sector´s average and the selected methods of property structure evaluation are applied here. The financial situation in the period between 2006 and 2008 is reviewed by financial analysis with help of ratio indicators of liquidity, profitability and activity related to property. The net working capital is also calculated. The conclusion is focused on the influence of property impacts upon the economic results of the company and various changes resulting from the findings of the performed financial analysis are suggested.
