Solution of the design is based on the best available technologies that deliver high-quality research results into practice. The proposed root plant meets all the requirements for the quality of the discharged water according to the relevant legislation. An important part of the diploma thesis are annexes, which contain a completely elaborated project documentation for the issuance of a joint permit for the purpose of realization of the new building of a constructed wetland plant for the village Bezděčí near Trnávka.
Energy Efficient Budillding of Guesthouse "In the vineyard"
Hlubinka, Josef ; Vaščáková, Alena (referee) ; Wierzbická, Helena (advisor)
The aim of this master project is to design a nearly zero-energy building of a guesthouse with a restaurant in the village Vrbice u Velkých Pavlovic. The project contains architectural-construction part and concept of building services. As the third part there is a design and concept of a wastewater treatment wetland system. The building has two floors. On the ground floor there is a restaurant, kitchen, reception and technical facilities, the premises of the 2 nd floor contain guest rooms. The structural system is designed from ceramic blocks with thermal insulation from mineral wool. Horizontal load-bearing structures and stair construction are designed from cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building has a warm flat roof. The building has a mechanical heat recovery ventilation. For heating and water heating there is a heat pump and a condensing boiler, for cooling there is a multi-split and VRV system. The building also includes a storage reservoir for collecting rainwater and photovoltaic panels on the roof. The building site contains also an outdoor park, storage with carport and a garden with wastewater treatment wetland technologies and biotope lake. The project was carried out by the ArchiCad and Autocad programme.
Monitoring and evaluation the first year of operation of the vertical flow filter in constructed wetland
Vláčil, Lukáš ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (referee) ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis evaluates the one-year operation of a new type of vertical filter bed in the constructed wetland in Dražovice. This evaluation will be used to compare the efficiency of treatment – ammonia nitrogen removal – in the Dražovice constructed wetland before reconstruction (the installation of the vertical filter) and after the reconstruction. The introductory part deals with the theoretical research summarizing expert information and learnings, in order to provide insight into the issue of constructed wetlands and vertical filters in particular. Individual technological installations are described and the operating principle of constructed wetland technology is explained. The practical part of the thesis describes and evaluates the treatment efficiency of the vertical filter installed in the Dražovice constructed wetland in 2016. The results evaluation focuses on two indicators: N-NH4+ and CODCr in the period between January 2017 and May 2018.
Technology to increase hydraulic conductivity of constructed wetlands
Pobořil, Jan ; Hynánková,, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
Constructed wetlands are one of alternative solution wastewater treatment. Compared to conventional wastewater plants have many advantages. For example it´s technology saving construction, low operating costs, cleavability diluted wastewater and little or no need for electrical power. There are many publications dealing with Natural Ways wastewater treatment or even constructed wetlands. I decided to look for a thesis on one of the key processes – clogging bed media. The thesis is focused on ways to prevent clogging of bed media, mitigate the consequences and technology to increase hydraulic conductivity of constructed wetlands. The main test method is improving drainage parameters using pulsed filling and emptying of the bed media. This method is a very effective way to achieve quality requirements for effluent water from the treatment plant. Another test method is based on the injection of air into the media bed and sludge extraction using a specially modified industrial vacuum cleaner or pump.
Possibilities of technical implementation of intensification the constructed treatment wetland
Suchánek, Pavel ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (referee) ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (advisor)
The Bachelors thesis is a study of three variants of solution of reconstruction and intensification of specific constructed wetland. Request for reconstruction of existing cleaner facility arose from an observer, who demanded increasing of cleaning efficiency because of expected changes on sewer. The introductory part deals with a theoretical summary of expert knowledge and information, which are responsible for familiarization with problematics of constructed wetland. Just the information about reconstructions of others constructed wetlands could be essential for solving this thesis. Based on the results of the progress and effectiveness of the proposed changes, it is possible to be inspired for further solutions. Practical part of thesis is a separate study, within which were proposed three variants of solution. Variants differ in economic and technical difficulty and are linked to each other. The first one is the least difficult option and serves only for maintain temporary state. The second variant includes complex reconstruction of the object using a vertical filter and ensures effective removal of observed pollution parameters (Suspended solids, COD, BOD, N-NH4+). The third option, economically and technologically the most demanding, should moreover chemically precipitate phosphorus. For clarity of the proposal were all variants compiled in 3D model. The aim of thesis was to elaborate several variants of solution of reconstruction and intensification of existing constructed wetland Biskoupky so that the operator can choose the one that suits him at most, taking into account the investment aspect.
The Issue of Vertical Filters with Vegetation for Municipalities up to 500 PE
Brychtová, Veronika ; Přecechtěl, Karel (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
Thesis consist of two parts theoretic one focus on wastewater, wastewater treatment and practical part which focus on the most appropriate option how to treat wastewater in Pyšel village. In this location was in the past purchased a study of variant solutions. From the economical/investment/the most appropriate point of view was chosen vertical wetland. Nowadays vertical wetlands are very suitable for small municipalities under 500 equivalent inhabitants because of the low demand for electricity and the presence of operators is not necessary. This technology became unpopular in Czech Republic after few incorrectly designed vertical wetlands. These problems cause insufficient cleaning ability especially about ammonia, phosphorus or other mostly oxygen parameters. Flawless design and optimized service of vertical wetland can achieve better results than biologically – mechanical waste water treatment plant. Design for Pyšel village is based on research processed by Institute of landscape water management (Kotěnice and Dražovice). Part of the design are also sludge fields, which were build for minimalized financial expenses for Pyšel village inhabitants.
