Suchánková, Klára
This bachelor’s thesis „Evaluation of equine vital expressions“deals with equine ethology. Work is separated to six chapters. The first chapter deals with basic daily activities, such as eating behaviour, evacuation, resting, comfort behaviour and movement. The second chapter focuses on social behaviour, the third on sexual behaviour, and the fourth than on maternity behaviour. Behaviour of foals is descibed at fifth chapter. The benefits of accelerator program of czech warmblood mares for sport and breeding
Kupčíková, Magdalena ; Janošíková, Martina (advisor)
In the following lines my thesis, I find that the mares included in the accelerator program further used in breeding, and whether the AP contributes or is a certainty for an increasing number of foals CT and whether the results of the evaluation mares at 3 years indicator of the quality and success of mares themselves and their foals in another sports career. I will also try to assess whether the inclusion of subsidies received in mares AP exploited to the full, which depends on the number of foals born via.

Factors affecting reproductive efficiency in horses
Nová, Daniela ; Šichtař, Jiří (advisor)
This work is supposed to find out how particular factors effect pregnancy of mares. First chapter that presents into the theme is chapter about system of reproduction itself. Anatomy and physiology of system of reproduction of mare and stallion, hormonal control, oogenesis and spermatonesis. Following internal factors that effect the mare itself that means malfunctions of reproduction congenital or gained ( hormonal disfunctions and cysts for example) condition and age of the mare. Then summary od internal factors that influence reproduction of the stallion. This chapter is not very extensive because selection of stallions is on very high level, which means that stud stallions do not have any problems with reproduction. If there are any found the stallion is castrated and is not used in breeding any more. External factors will evaluate the importance separately for mares and stallions and will be consisting of climatic conditions, housing, nutrition, mating itself and sporting of the mare, frequency of sperm collections of the stallion and finally reproductive behaviour in horses.
Faktory ovlivňující délku březosti u teplokrevných klisen
Förchtgott, Lukáš
Bachelor thesis was focused on the analysis of selected factors affecting the length of pregnancy in Slovak warm-blooded mares. The conception and birth month had a significant influence on the length of pregnancy in mares. The year of conceiving and foal sex did not affect the duration of pregnancy . The results showed that the length of gestation in mares is influenced by many factors and some of which has not yet been clarified. Their knowledge is important to determine the exact date of foal birth.
Analýza chovu plemene Shagya-arab v České republice
Zápařková, Kateřina
The aim of this thesis was the first part of their work to process data on the number of foals born, import and export, trends in breeds of horses Shagya Arabian (Sh-a) and data horse's active Sh-a in the Czech Republic for the year 2014. The data were processed in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and have created graphs. However, the number of foals born, it was found that most of them were born in 2009 and 2002. Import greatly outweighed exports, but in recent years also began to flourish and export. States Shagya-Arabians in the Czech Republic since 1994, continues to grow. In 2014, the Czech Republic 283 broodmares, 176 geldings, 142 mares, 133 stallions and 31 sire. In the second part of their work was the aim statistically evaluate data mares entered in the Stud book. This program was used Unistat 5.5. First, the statistical effect was studied by GLM and positive results have been used multiple comparisons by Tukey-B. It was found that on the basic colour has a highly significant influence line and family. Were examined influences on 4 basic body measurements (withers high tape, withers high rod, chest circumference, circumference of the cannon bone), where it was found that withers high tape, withers high rod, and chest circumference have a statistically significant effect of a family and line. The overall gain points is statistically highly significant influence lines and the number of ox 4th generation.
Faktory ovlivňující délku březosti Starokladrubského koně
Malinská, Martina
Bachelor thesis is concentrated on analysis of factors affecting gestation length in Old Kladruber horses. Gestation length was considerably influenced by the month of conception, weight of mares and weight of foals. Gestation length was also affected by alive and dead foals. The year of conception and sex of foals did not affect gestation length. The sex of foals did not influence the weight of foals. In conclusion, gestation length in mares is affected by a number of factors. The knowledge of these factors is very important for correct determination of parturition date.
Faktory ovlivňující délku březosti Českého teplokrevníka
Moravová, Pavlína
The bachelor thesis was focused on the determination of factors influencing the length of gestation in mares. It was examined several factors that were evaluated: mating period within the breeding season, mares age, gender of foal, year of breeding and whether foals were alive or dead. Dates were analyzed using statistical programs Unistat and SAS.The length of gestation in mares was influenced by the month in which the mares became pregnant and by the sex of newborn foals. Furthermore, the evaluation of the number of foals born in each month and the influence of age and month of foaling mares on the sex of foals were observed. The analyzed data showed that the length of gestation of mares is affected by a number of factors, many of them are not fully understood yet. A knowledge of these factors is especially important for the determination of precise date of birth.
Performance tests of cold-blooded horses and their evaluation
PÁTEK, Ladislav
Performance tests are necessary to determine the performance and individual character traits of the horse, which are needed for inclusion in breeding. The aim of the diploma thesis was to assess the performance tests and the method of evaluation. At first, the thesis compares the system and evaluation of tests of cold-blooded horses in the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries. The following section compares the performance requirements for stallions and mares. Then there was compared the performance of different breeds. The following part deals with determining, how the year of performance tests affected the evaluation of individual disciplines. The last part of the thesis deals with observing the influence of the breed on evaluation of individual disciplines.
