Předseťová úprava osiva zeleniny pro ekologický systém pěstování
Kolmašová, Tereza
The work deals with testing sowing treatment of seeds , methods of Bio- osmopriming and hot water treatment (HWT) on seed pea (Pisum sativum) and carrot (Daucus carota) and the subsequent evaluation of the success of probing methods of sowing treatment for individual crops in field conditions to test germination in the laboratory. Investigation and evaluation parameters are the number of germinated seeds in laboratory conditions , germination rate (how many seeds germinated in each day) , the number of emerged plants in the field, plant health field (plant infestation and plant health), composure stand and yield evaluation of test cultures. final results are photographically documented and processed in tables and graphs (statistically) and compared.
Study and characterization of the recessive resistance genes to Pea seed-borne mosaic virus (PSbMV)
Konečná, Eva
Pea seed-borne mosaic virus (PSbMV) belongs among the most frequent viral pathogens causing severe yield and seed quality losses in field pea and other legumes. These losses might be the most effectively prevented by use of resistant varieties. Resistance to the common P1 strain of PSbMV is conferred by a single recessive gene (eIF4E), localized on LG VI (sbm-1 locus), while the resistance to lentil L1 strain is localized on LGII at sbm-2 locus. Germplasm of 2803 pea accessions was screened for eIF4E intron 3 length polymorphism using two sets of primer combinations, resulting in the detection of four eIF4EA-B-C-S variants, whose distribution was geographically structured. In order to identify gene underlaying sbm-2 locus, we have analyzed variation in the candidate eIF(iso)4E gene sequences from selected pea lines, reported as donors of resistance. we analyzed expression of both resistant and sensitive eIF4E alleles in F1 and F2 heterozygous plants, sensitive and resistant homozygotes after PSbMV infection, by qRT-PCR together with evaluation of viral concentration.
Critical evaluation of potential of harvested product proteins in selected crops from perspective of their use in food and biotechnological applications
BUCKOVÁ, Pavlína
This diploma thesis deals with plant proteins. Literary review discusses the properties of the major proteins in selected agricultural crops (wheat, barley, oats, corn, peas, soybeans, canola, potato, Jerusalem artichoke) and their use in food, diet, biotechnology and other industries. The diploma thesis was also assessing the potential production of proteins in these crops on the basis of literature and available statistical data. Data is organized into tables and graphs
