Hodnocení struktury bylinného patra lesních porostů založených na bývalé zemědělské půdě v okolí Huslenek
Kretová, Hana
This thesis deals with the development of phytocoenosis in spruce stands at a different age based on the farm lands nearby the village of Huslenky. In addition to that the development of the soil environment was monitored on this forest cover. One of the aims was to try to create a series of successional development phytocoenosis on the wooded farm land. Field survey consisted of phytocenological imaging in nineteen different age stands. It was made a total of 55 releves. For pedological surveys were dug seven soil pits and from them were taken soil samples from the Ah and B horizons. The interim results of the analyses are confronted with a typological map and it is evaluated whether it is really possible to differentiate the surface typologically on the selected locations. The results are divided into three parts. In botanical outputs set of data is broken down into 4 groups according to their similarity. Pedological output value pH and saturation of adsorption complex. Also it is evaluated ecological demands of plants. The discussion is distributed and commented on the process and results of the thesis, or the causes and consequences of phenomena occurring typically in the similar spruce stands.
Monitoring of the long-term changes of wooland vegetation using historical phytosociological relevés.
Veverková, Alina ; Karlík, Petr (referee) ; Hédl, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns in study of vegetation dynamics and possible approaches to research, in particular long-term vegetation research using repeating vegetation sampling with phytosociological relevés. This study work up methodology problems, especially imprecise localization of original plots. Main focus is on herb layer in forests. Thesis is review of selected literature about this subject.
Evaluation of habitat with the occurrence of critically endangered species \kur{Gentianella praecox} subsp. \kur{bohemica} at sites near Chvalsiny and Cesky Krumlov
KOŠKOVÁ, Irena
The diploma program summarized in this paper was to evaluate the habitats of Gentianella Praecox, subsp. Bohemica, in the Chvalšiny and Český Krumlov areas where the taxon can be encountered on eight sites. The narrative section, summarizing the biological and ecological aspects of the species, provides also information on why the taxon is endangered and how it can be protected. A special chapter is dedicated to the program of its recovery. The methodological section, characterizing the area of interest and its different sites, describes also the procedure applied to create and evaluate phytocoenological relevés. The chapter is complemented with information on the numbers of plants in bloom, a figure representing the communities of Gentianella praecox, subsp. bohemica, as found at the individual habitats. Statistical evaluations of the phytocoenological relevés revealed, inter alia, a certain change in the species composition and coverage, primarily on all sites at Svatý Kříž (Chvalšiny). The change observed in these habitats manifested itself also through the increase in coverage of the more mesic species of Plantago lanceolata, Achillea millefolium, and Lotus corniculatus. The numbers of individual plants of Gentianella praecox, subsp. bohemica, encountered in bloom showed substantial year-on-year fluctuation.
Monitoring rozšíření borytu barvířského (Isatis tinctoria L.) v NPR Děvín - Kotel - Soutěska (CHKO Pálava)
Páleníková, Michaela
This study focuses on mapping of dyer's woad (Isatis tinctoria L.) in the National Nature Reserve (NNR) Děvín-Kotel-Soutěska and its distribution range in the South Moravian Region. This study describes in detail the process and outcomes of this mapping. Through this implemented research, maps of occurrence of dyer's woad in South-Moravian Region and more detailed in the NNR. This monitoring was also significantly important for assessment of dyer's woad's invasiveness. In the NNR there were also established and for two years monitored permanent experimental plots on which impact of Isatis on the surrounding vegetation is monitored. Results of this study will serve as a background material for the Administration of Protected Landscape Area Pálava and for Nature Conservation Agency of Brno. Keywords: floristic mapping, phytosociological plot, plant invasions, Pálava Hills, southern Moravia
Monitoring invazních a nepůvodních rostlin v povodí řeky Ostravice
Zlá, Kristýna
Spreading of invasive plants on catchment area of the Ostravice river has been monitored from fall 2013 to fall 2014. During the study period, 24 phytocenological images for 6 areas was obtained. The results were extended with data from the Czech National Phytosociological Database and comparative study of the spreading was performed for separate parts of the catchment area. In 211 phytosociological images analyzed in total, I have found 63 non-native species from which 23 was invasive. The most common invasive species was the Himalayan balsam (Impatiens glandulifera), Small balsam (Impatiens parviflora), the knotweed (Reynoutria spp.) and the Solidago canadensis (Solidago canadensis). Number of invasive species increased with decreasing altitude. River flow control and urbanization of nearby areas also had positive effects on the spreading. The study also revealed that occurrence of individual invasive species in coastal areas was different than their occurrence in more distant areas from the river basin.
Péče o květnaté trávníky s důrazem na zvýšení estetické kvality
Pilušová, Barbora
The thesis "Care about flowery lawns, with emphasis on increasing the aesthetic quality" deals with the use of flowery lawns in garden and landscape design, focusing on the visual effect of the composition. Literary rewiev is devoted to the use of flower lawns from history to the present and evaluate their functions, features and aesthetic effect. Literary rewiev also contains a chapter, which is dealing with maintanance care of species rich vegetation. The main goal of this work is the theoretical part, which is based on phytocenology analysis that evaluate coverage, size and variability of individual plant communities in the Chateau garden in Kroměříž at regular intervals throughout the year. The results of the field survey are divided into four chapters, that includes estimation of species composition, their dynamics and aesthetic appeal. In conclusion, the results are made with tables and graphs.
Impact of land use on the former sand-pits in the region of Veselí nad Lužnicí
NOVÁK, Ondřej
Sand-pits which were formed especially in the floodplain of the Lužnice River since the 1950s currently constitute important landscape element of the Třeboň Basin. My diploma thesis is focused on the assessment of the impact of land use on the former sand-pits in the region of Veselí nad Lužnicí. Field investigations were carried out from the beginning of June till the end of August 2008. I mapped the land use of this area by using a map key. I put down particular areas {--} agricultural areas, forest areas, water areas, bild-up areas, other areas {--} into map photographs. The total area of the mapped territory was 989 hecteres. The biggest part of the area comprises of forest growths and field-grown plants. Water areas (with the main element of the mapped area {--} a system of former sandpits) formed 23% of the total area. On the bank sof the sand-pits were placed phytosociological relevé, which illustrated littoral vegetation and environment in which this vegetation is located, and what is the influence of human activity on vegetation. I placed 74 phytosociological relevé in this system. I recorded 125 plant species {--} out of these were 104 herb plants and 21 woody species. I recorded 41 nitrophilous, 52 wetland, 16 ruderal and 2 stronngly endangered species. Altogether, 20 water samplings were carried out. Horusice I sand-pit is the richest in nutrient, the poorest in nutrients is Horusice sand-pit.
IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF LITTORAL VEGETATION CONDITIONS OF BASIN OF VESELÍ SYSTEM ALTER GRAVEL - SAND EXTRACTION
NOVÁK, Ondřej
The sand-pits which were formed especially in the floodplain of the Lužnice River since the 1950s, curretly constitute important landscape elements of the Třeboň Basin. My bachelor thesis is focused on the assessment of the littorla vegetation of sand-pits of Veselí system. Field investigations were carried out from beginning foe July till mid-Septamber 2006 on the Veselí systém, which includes five snad-pit lakes. Seventy-four phytosociological relevés were places along the shores of all lakes in order to document the littoral vegetation as well as main environmental paramentrs and the extent of anthropogenic influence. A total of 137 plant species, of which 115 herbs and 22 trees and shrubs, were recorded on these relevés. The records included two stronngly endangered species: Lysimachia thyrsiflora and Lycopodiella inundata. The biotopes hosted 51 wetland species and 20 ruderal species.
