Behaviour of Selected Varieties of Honey at the Impact Loading
Nedomová, Š. ; Trnka, Jan ; Přidal, A. ; Stoklasová, Pavla ; Buchar, J.
Rheological properties of honey are mainly described by its viscosity. This property is particularly critical during storage, handling and processing. The new method of the evaluation of the mechanical behaviour of honey has been designed. This method is based on the evaluation of the honey response to dynamic loading. Dynamic loading has been realized by fall of bar impact. Response function has been represented by the time history of the honey surface displacement. Response of the tested honey varieties have been evaluated both in the time and frequency domain.
Determination of characteristics of inherently brittle materials using impact tester
Flašar, Petr ; Chlup, Zdeněk ; Dlouhý, Ivo
In this work, the mothodology of dynamic fracture toughness evaluation of brittle materials using Charpy pendulum machine is presented. For low-speed loading rates specimen damping technique was developed, in high-speed loading regime a modified DKC method was used. A new technique of time to fracture tf measurement was designed using gold-layer deposition on specimen surface. Analytical and numerical analysis of the loading tup – specimen interaction during the test was carried out and compared to experimental data.
MKP 3D MODELOVÁNÍ TEPELNÝCH DĚJŮ TLUMÍCÍCH PRVKŮ S TERMO-MECHANICKOU VAZBOU
Pešek, Luděk ; Šulc, Petr
The COMSOL code based on weak formulation of PDE's problem was used for solution of thermo-mechanical interaction in pre-pressed rubber segment used for resilient elements of the composed tram wheels. For computational time efficiency the structural and heat field are decomposed and the balance of heat power density and dissipation power density realizes the coupling. The dissipation power is computed according to the assumed proportional damping model. The results of thermo-mechanical processes for press and shear deformations under static pre-pressed and cyclic dynamic loading are presented and analyzed.
Implementation of dynamic manifestations of vibrations to design collector reveal
Kaláb, Zdeněk ; Marek, R. ; Stolárik, M.
This paper deals with basis of design and actions on structures, especially by dynamic loading. First part represents description of general accesses to including seismic effect into consideration for design of collector reveal. The main part is paid to experimental measurements.
Remodelace živé kosti – numerická simulace
Klika, V. ; Maršík, František ; Barsa, P.
The capacity of bone to adapt to functional mechanical requirements has been known for more than a century, and many theoretical and experimental models have been developed for bone remodelling. However, these models are still not able to sufficiently predict its behaviour. A thermodynamic model based on recent knowledge of biochemical control mechanisms is presented. Despite the complexity of the regulatory system of bone adaptation, the calculated results are in very good correlation with the experimental observations - the inner structure of bone can be elucidated, simulation of the influence of dynamic loading together with biochemical factors, e.g. the fundamental RAKL-RANK-OPG pathway.
Stress-strain behaviour research of rocks under dynamic loading
Petroš, V. ; Bagde, M. N. ; Daněk, T. ; Hofrichterová, L. ; Hudeček, V. ; Michalčík, P. ; Slivka, V. ; Špinka, O. ; Vavro, M. ; Žůrek, P. ; Holub, Karel
The aim of this project was oriented to determination of physical-mechanical characteristics of rocks under dynamic load using laboratory device MTS 816 Rock Test System. The research was drawn to investigation of surrounding rocks properties, i.e. rocks from the rock massif, where anomaleous geomechanical events do occur.
Corrosion influence on fatigue properties of steels, and changes by the deposit of thin layers
Svoboda, Jaroslav ; Fróhlich, Vladislav ; Štěpánek, I.
The report deals results of introduction works in a solution of the anticorrosion protection problem of dynamic loaded constructions, which will be a subject of common grant of laboratories ÚT AVČR and ZČU Plzeň. Out of economic reasons were experiments carried on speciments from a cheap carbon-steel 11523.1.There were fatigue-life-curves and the crack propagation obtained by the smooth and deponded speciments on the air. Further it were the change of fatigue-life by this speciments loaded in the corrosion environmen twatched and results compared.
A new information on evaluation of security of real structures stressed by combined random loading
Svoboda, Jaroslav ; Balda, Miroslav ; Fröhlich, Vladislav
The report deals with problems of evaluation fatigue life and security of real structures loaded by proportional combined random processes. Four real structure elements were used for a design and verification of computing methods for fatigue life and security estimates. The report contains all important instructions for the use of presented methods.
