Supplier selection and evaluation process and its impact on inventory control

The aim of the work is to optimise supplier selection and evaluation based on internal information obtained from Gienger spol. s r.o. with its registered office in South Moravian Napajedla. It is a wholesale unit dealing with the provision of materials and goods in the building services engineering field. The theoretical part focuses on explaining the concepts and informing regarding the methods used. These are mainly the topics of supplier selection and evaluation, stockpile and its accounting and management, and multiple-criteria decision-making used to optimise supplier selection. The practical part examines the supplier selection and evaluation methods used at Gienger, seeking to optimise them based on the proposed modifications. It also addresses the impact of supplier selection on stock management in the company. The results are evaluated based on the information obtained and proposed adjustments.

Jelínková, Z. Contemporary trends of supplier-customer relations in engineering. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. The diploma thesis deals with the identifications specifics of the customer-supplier relations in engineering. In the first part of the thesis, the characteristics of the engineering industry in the Czech Republic are describe on the basis of secondary data. For comprehensive analysis of the issue, the collection of primary data is carried out through questionnaire surveys among Czech engineering companies and detailed interviews with representatives of the industry. Based on the questionnaire, the next part of the thesis describes the current trends and identifies the risks encountered on the domestic and foreign markets. At the end of the thesis is a proposal of measures for mitigation and elimination of the identified key risks and a case study for demonstration of elements and methods of Industry 4.0 in practice.

Petrášová, L..Changes in the status of the agricultural company within the agribusiness of the Czech Republic. Brno, 2017. Diploma thesis. Mendel University, Superviser of thesis Ing. Ivo Zdráhal, Ph.D. This diploma thesis deals with developmental changes of an agricultural business environment. In the theoretical section, this development is observed at a moni-tored company PATRIA Kobylí, a.s. The acquired knowledge is further verified in the practical section. The thesis is elaborated in form of a case study which aims to evaluate the development since the founding of the company till the present, and to reflect selected indicators such as sowing areas, yields from the area and prices in the company. Those indicators are compared with the statistical data of the Czech Republic. Three core commodities (winter wheat, milk, apricots and wine) were selected to examine the indicators. Last but not least, the thesis also deals with the strategy of diversification of activities, which is represented by production of plastic constructions. A SWOT analysis suggested strategies which are to be seen as opportunities for future plans. A financial analysis of the company and grants that play a large part in the company´s profitability are included in the final segment of the diploma thesis. Suggestions are focused on decreasing value of inventory with positive impact on customers in company PODNIK s.r.o. Suggestions will be used as an inspiration for management for developing new strategy of management of supplier-customer relationship.

In each accounting unit the suppliers and customers are considered as a very important unit. Through their relationships the company tries to achieve the greatest profits and maximize the market value of products. The following subsystems: CRM - Customer Relationship Management and SCM - Supply Chain Management help to address this issue in the context of enterprise information systems. The aim of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of supplier-customer relationships in the selected company and to evaluate of their accounting software. The following methods are used in the practical part: a method of analysis and synthesis and SWOT analysis. In the end of the thesis are recommended proposals to create clearer communication between the company and its business partners and better use of subsystems.
Development of customer-supplier relationships in the accounting program in the selected company

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the processing of customer-supplier relationships in the accounting program, including a proposal for the solution of these relations, and at the same time to analyze the use and suitability of the selected program. The thesis has two parts. The fisrt part is theoretical and deals with the theory of customer-supplier relationships with the application for defining billing relationships and accounting cases that arise in connection with receivables and payables. The second part refers to the application of specific accounting procedures in customer-supplier relationships in an existing company Vodotechnické služby, s.r.o. These procedures are mainly the invoicing (work with common and advance invoices), summaries whether the receivables and payables are paid or not and also analysis of receivables and payables of the company with using the indicators of financial analysis.
