Characters used for determining of spiders (Araneae)
KRIŠTOFOVÁ, Lucie
This bachelor thesis focuses on a current issue of classifying spiders into their families. The incorrect recognitions of a family are often caused by inappropriate choice of morphological features and their ambiguous characteristics for determination usage. In a literary review, various morphological characters of spiders used for their determination to families are summarized and described. Subsequently, two Czech keys were tested by respondents, which provided a view of the steps and features causing difficulties in classifying spider families. Thus, I outline both unquestioning acceptance of features from older sources and the fact that their usage is not always a reliable tool for determination. Often neglected is the attitude of inexperienced observers who look upon the spider body inexpertly, not being influenced by arachnological traditions, and therefore, with a certain dose of exaggeration, objectively. This is the reason why the research was done mainly with the help of amateur public. In the final parts of the bachelor thesis, I both discuss problems that emerged and were recorded during the observation and recommend suitable improvements concerning the classification keys.
Category of Determination: Translation strategy of Spanish administrative-and-law texts into Czech.
JANUŠOVÁ, Adéla
The main theme of this thesis is the category of determination in the Spanish language. Considering that this category is very large in spanish language we have focused in detail on the article, especially the indefinite article. This work is devided into two parts, the theoretic and the practical part. The theoretic part has been devoted to definitions and main characterization of the article, primarily the indefinite article. This issue is looked upon from the point of different publications that discuss it more or less thoroughly. Considering that the category of determination itself does not exist in the Czech language we briefly draw other mediums to express this phenomenon, especially the word order. For the practical part the qualitative methods were used.In this part the use of determinants was analyzed in administrative and legal texts, specifically in two texts from the web page www.Eur-Lex.eu, in one text from Boletín Oficial del Estado and in one law of the Czech Ministry of Education.
Succulents in the collections of the Botanical Gardens Tábor.
KORUNKOVÁ, Eva
This work was carried out in the botanical garden belonging to college and secondary agricultural school in Tábor. Determination and inventory of succulent plant species were the theme of the work. Individual species were determined according to technical literature. They were classified into families and plant spreading was found out. The work was carried out in two greenhouses and height and width of each specimen were measured. The degree of endangerement CITES was found out. The age was also estimated. Making a digital encyclopedia in which all succulent species which grew in the botanical garden in March 2013 are documented was a part of this work. This compilation in electronic version was attached in the form of CD presentation. The proposal for The guide for collection of succulent plants in the botanical garden in Tábor 2013 was submittted in the attachment.
Fundamental approaches to exchange rate determination and their validity in small transitive economy
Sommer, Josef ; Mandel, Martin (advisor) ; Brůna, Karel (referee)
The bachelor thesis concerns the topic of exchange rate determination. The first part of the thesis focuses on exchange rate characterization and explanation of differences between fundamental analysis, technical analysis and efficient markets hypothesis. This part is then followed by description of traditional theories pursuing the impact of particular fundamental factors on exchange rate in the short, medium and long run. The second part of the thesis comprises the validation of purchasing power parity, interest rate parity, international Fisher effect and interest rate differential theory in case of the Czech Republic, a small transitive economy. The closing part of the thesis summarizes the empirical findings and attempts to explain the causes of deviations of exchange rate development from the path set up by fundamental approaches.
Archaeozoology of the Neolithic of Bohemia
KOVAČIKOVÁ, Lenka
An archaeozoological analysis of the assemblages of animal bones and teeth of Neolithic (Linear and Stroked Pottery cultures; approx. 5500-4200 BC)settlements in Bohemia, provide new elements on the way of life of early farmers. By means of study of animal bones and teeth we can specify the role of domestic and hunting animals in the Neolithic economy, define the herd management strategies for main domestic animals and focus on the environmental reconstruction and investigation of births distribution of domestic animals (for exemple of cattle in the case of this study) through the analysis of the carbon and oxygen isotopic compositions of fossil tooth enamel bioapatite. To achieve these objectives, we can use, except standard archaeozoological methods and stable isotope analysis, more specific procedures, e.g. determination of damaged bones of animals using the ELISA test.
