Model of Laboratory Testbench for Educational Purposes
Januška, Adam ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis is focused on simulation of laboratory stand located on University of technology in Brno which is containing DC and asynchronous motor. This thesis includes mathematical model of DC motor, regulator of current, regulator of speed and DC convertor. It also contains model of asynchronous squirrel cage motor and models for scalar and vector control. Whole simulation is calculated in Simulink which is part of program Matlab.
Switching power supply based on high voltage Si/SiC MOSFET transistors
Darida, Slavomír ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
Bachelor’sthesis is based on semestral thesis, which was focused mostly on problematic of switching power supply design with following parameters 3x400V AC/15V DC, 3,333A. Bachelor’s thesis adds algorithmic calculations of converters winding parts for forward converter and also for flyback convertor. These algorithms are created with Matlab. Next extension is design of two different forward convertor’s conceptions. Current mode PWM regulation is the first one and voltage mode PWM regulation is the second conception. Because current transformer is needed for secondary current sensing in first conception, its design is added also with algorithm calculation. Important is that both of these conceptions are using same excitation system. Excitation system functional tests are classified at the end.
Membraneless speaker
Kovář, Josef ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis consists of theoretic basics and describes the design and construction of one-channel membraneless speaker. Absence of mechanical components gives the membraneless speaker no frequency limitation. The design consists of power source, control electronics, which modulates the signal, convertor and output transformer. The power source is realized by transformer, which lowers the voltage and stabilizators. Modulation is provided by integrated circuit TL 594, its duty is adjusted by potentiometer P1 and frequency by potentiometer P2. Power conversion provides dual forward converter. As a output transformer was used transformer from color television.
Plasma speaker - audio modulated electric arc
Klein, Ondřej ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design and realization of electric arc modulated by audio signal. It is also known as plasma speaker. Absence of any mechanical components gives membranless speaker no frequency limitation. The design consist of single circuits as power sources for power and control section, control electronics, which modulates the signal, and power section, which reproduce signal in form of sound.
BLDC motor controller
Němec, Petr ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this Master thesis is to design a power convertor for BLDC motor 48V/2kW. Emphasis is placed on the small dimensions of the final printed circuit board. Therefore, power SMD transistors STL135N8F7AG are used in small packages PowerFlat 5x6. To reduce area of the PCB, electrolytic capacitors are mounted on a separate board, which is located above the main PCB. Small high-capacity 22F/100V ceramic capacitors are used in the DC-LINK as well. They are located as close as possible to the power SMD tranzistors. Control logic will be provided by microprocesor STM32G474RE. High resolution timer HRTIM1 is used. The first part of this thesis is devoted to the brief description of BLDC motor construction and driving. Next parts are focused on the design itself.
A Tool for Transformation of PDF to Text
Bujok, Jonáš ; Raab, Jan (advisor) ; Falt, Zbyněk (referee)
Title: A Tool for Transformation of PDF to Text Author: Jonáš Bujok Department: Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics (32-UFAL) Supervisor: Mgr. Jan Raab, Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics (32-UFAL) Abstract: In this thesis we described an extraction procedure of text information from PDF (Portable Document Format) files. Thesis is focused mainly on middle-Europe languages. We designed, described and implemented program for this purpose. Besides the program and it's description the thesis contains information about PDF format object structure, it's syntax and logic necessary for proper understanding of text searching principles in PDF file. We also discussed filters, fonts and all other PDF Objects that the program need to process. This thesis also deals with methods and possibilities of improving program's functionality, speed, memory usage, reliability an universality of usage.

Design of a photovoltaic power plant for a family house near Olomouc
Juřička, Dušan ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the introduction to the components of a photovoltaic system and the creation of a specific photovoltaic system installed in a family house located north of Olomouc. The system is designed to meet the requirements of a family of four. Based on simulations and current market prices, the profitability of the entire system is evaluated. The financial return of the project and the possibility of a subsidy from the state are also considered. In addition, the future possibility of purchasing an electric car is included and the potential impact on the flow of energy within the internal power grid is simulated.
