The purpose of the diploma thesis was to provide the reader with an overview of European Union Structural and Cohesion Funds in general and of those available in the Czech Republic as well. The opportunities to gain funding from European Union of one small sized Czech firm were examined in the last part of the essay. 	The cross-border cooperation between Czech republic and Poland in the region of Hradec Králové Kubcová, Karolína ; Němcová, Ingeborg (advisor) ; Tunkrová, Věra (referee) The goal of my bachelor thesis is to analyze cross-border cooperation between the Czech Republic and Poland. The core of the thesis is the evaluation of SWOT analysis of the eurore-gion Glacensis, which concurs to the whole characteristics of particular euroregions in the area of the Czech Republic, including its history, characteristics of goals, and instruments of cross-border cooperation in general and also the particular institutions which participate in the financing of cross-border cooperation. The analysis of the cross-border cooperation of the Czech Republic and Poland is made by form of SWOT -- analysis of the region Glacensis, in which it will identify the positives, negatives, opportunities, and threats for this euroregion and in recent times, the specific priorities for the future possible development of the range.
