The Training and the Employment of Mental Handicapped People in the Protected Workshop

The work deals with the introduction of the protected workshop as one of the instruments for the occupational use and the integration of mentally handicapped people. The theoretic part characterises the mental retardation, human rights of mentally handicapped people and the employment of these people according to law of the employment rate. The practical part includes the characteristic of the methodology of the staff training and employment of people with mental retardation in the protected workshop of the civil association Proutek. The civil association Proutek is a nonprofit organisation which provides a social service a protected housing and an employment in protected workshop for people with mental retardation . The function of the protected workshop is helping and supporting for mentally handicapped people to integrate at full blast in the common life and to get a working know-how.

Employing Mentally Handicapped People at the Sheltered Workshop of Rolnička

This paper deals with the topic of employing mentally handicapped people. The theoretical part presents the notion of mental retardation, as well as the preparation of people for employment, an inherent part of which is education of such mentally handicapped people. The main focus is on employing mentally handicapped people, then on the legislative framework, and also on some auxiliary mechanics which help mentally handicapped people get employment. The practical part presents the Rolnička´s secure workshop and its latest project ? Integration into Labor Market of the Tábor Region, which is currently under way. One of the elements of this project is the Transit Program, the aim of which is to help the employees of Rolnička´s secure workshop with the transition to the free labor market. That is why I devoted the practical part of this paper to interviewing individual employees of the said workshop in order to investigate their interest in transition to labor market.

The Conception of the Diaconate in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church

The work deals with the founding and history of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church from its beginning to the present. It also describes the meaning and history of social work and its irreplaceable and important role in the Church, specifically in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. In social work it does not matter whether it is provided with a church, state or non-state institution, but whether the work is done with love and willingness to help others. In the study there is also introduced a social worker Berta Mildová - Bílková, to whom social work has become her life´s dedication. There is described characterization of respective institutions under Diakonie and the missions of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. One of them is the centre of Nazaret, which offers its clients quality services and leisure activities, aiming for easing the integration of people with disabilities into the society.

Effect of sheltered workshops and social therapeutic workshops on life quality of people with severe mental illness.

The bachelor thesis is concentrated on the effect of sheltered workshops and social therapeutic workshops on life quality of people with severe mental illness. The aim of this work is to determine social and working skills gained by people in workshop, what the workshop brought them and if the attendance to the workshop contributed to improvement of their life quality. This work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part informs about the basic of working rehabilitation history and deals with life quality. The following part contains brief characteristic of schizophrenia. The practical part contains informations about Sdružení Práh, describes the sheltered workshop and social terapeutic workshop. There is layed out the goal of this work, specified the hipothesises, described the method of survey, the results and evaluation of questionnaire.

Opportunities and particularities of working integration of people with mental disability

The objective of my diploma thesis entitled "Possibilities and Specifics of Work Inclusion of Mentally Handicapped People" was to find out what the possibilities and subsequent specifics of work inclusion of mentally handicapped people in the Karlovy Vary Region are. I was interested in work possibilities for these people as their inclusion in life of the society leads to full-valued life.It is obvious from the research that there is lack of work opportunities in the Karlovy Vary Region.

Projekt chráněné dílny

Chráněná dílna je pracovištěm, na kterém je v přepočteném počtu zaměstnanců zaměstnáno více jak 60% osob se zdravotním postižením. Základním legislativním předpisem je zákon č. 435/2004 Sb., o zaměstnanosti a jeho prováděcí vyhláška. V teoretické části je shrnuta tato a jiná legislativa. Praktická část řeší otázku vzniku takové chráněné dílny. Stěžejním bodem je předběžný roční rozpočet a návrh jak se vypořádat se ztrátou, která je jeho výsledkem.
