In its first part, the thesis The establishment of goats farm young farmer describes current situation of goat farming in the European Union, and, more importantly, in the Czech Replubic, which current trends are described in detail. In depth the thesis analyses factors that impact the economics of farming. Furthermore, it deals with subsidies flowing into the sensitive agricultural sector, and the relevant legislation. Finally, the work focuses on establishing a model farming from the perspective of young farmers.

The bachelor thesis focuses on goat breeding and production of slaughter animals. The paper gives the characteristics of chosen meat and combined goat breeds which are kept both in the Czech Republic and throughout the world and are suitable for slaughter purposes. The next objective was to describe technological systems used in meat goat breeding. The paper discusses various types of housing and necessary requirements that have to be fulfilled. It describes proper herd management, which includes criteria for choosing breeding animals and goat reproduction. Although the mostly used technique is natural breeding, the thesis also describes insemination. Rut detection and pregnancy diagnosis are very important as well. Pregnancy resulting in birth is a very significant period in goat breeding. The thesis therefore provides a detailed description of birth and after birth treatment. The overview of goat reproduction techniques ends with kid rearing and fattening. The next part of the thesis deals with meat production and slaughter value, and describes composition and quality of goat and kid meat. Finally, the thesis concludes with an overview of the main issues the author of the paper intends to cover in the diploma thesis.

The boer goat breed comes from South Africa Republic where it was developer from the local breeds and a few European goat breeds. In the Czech republic it is the only breed which is bred for the meat. Boer goats excell at calm temper, teachebility, fast growth, good meat production and high fertility. Unlike other goat breeds, they are well adaptable to different climate condition. Therefore it is possible to breed them almost all over the world. Since 2002 when boer goats were placed to Performance testing in the Czech republic, their numbers have increased every year. Interest in breeding boer goat in the Czech republic grows as well as the demand for goat meat which is interesting for its dietetic quality. This bachelor work concentrated on creating the literary summary dealing with the level of boer goat breeding in the Czech republic. Part of this work was monitoring and evaluation of level of the selected herds from two breeding companies. Obtained information about growth development and reproductive pointers was compared with the statements of Performance testing in the Czech republic in past years. At the end of this work all the obtained information about selected breedings is evaluated. Based on these results some steps were proposed which lead to improvement of existing boer goat breeding in the Czech republic.

Thegained data are compared to thenational data and usedfortheevaluationofthemonitoredfarms. Finally, itissuggestedrecommendationhow to improvetheleveloffarming and theeconomicindicators in theselectedfarms.
Formation of the goat milk commodity chain in the economic context

The diploma thesis deals with formation of the goat milk commodity chain in the economic context. It reports development of goats and their milk production from the world and the European Union point of view. The main focus is on the Czech agrarian sector and placement of goat production within the agriculture. It defines types of support for Czech goat breeders from the European and national fund sources. The representation of animals that are bred for milk production is demonstrated in the field of organic agriculture. Analytical part of the thesis includes the example of the particular organic goat farm in the Czech Republic.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and propose recommendations for the development of organic farm with the help of a survey of attitudes and opinions of consumers. The survey was conducted through questionnaires and were collected primary information , making it possible to determine the interest and options of market appreciation produce of organic farm Zerlina in region.Using analysis of available secondary sources described the strategic objectives of the organic farms in the region. All findings are presented at the end of the work and in the discussion is suggested recommendations for further development of organic farm.

In my thesis I discuss the evaluation of quality of goat milk coming from small-scale goat farmers. In the Czech Republic, goats have been bred for many years. Recently, goat milk is becoming more and more popular and is often searched by consumers as a type of food suitable for a healthy, balanced diet. The result of this is an increasing amount of goat farmers, especially those operating on smaller scale. In my thesis I describe the historical, as well as the current state of goat keeping in the Czech Republic and worldwide. The nutritional and dietary values of goat milk, its quality features and hygienic requirements are described as well. Also a part of the thesis is a laboratory evaluation of milk of two dairy goats kept at a small-scale farmer.

My Bachelor's composition is related to Mineral substances and vitamins contained in goat's milk. I'm evaluating goat farming situation not only in the Czech Republic, but also in Europe and worldwide based on available literary sources. Sources of individual vitamins and mineral substances in other food, their daily recommended allowances and their importance for human being are described in there. Bachelor's composition is aiming to familiarize readers with ingredient proportional representation issues in goat's milk depending on several factors, whose contains may vary. Vitamin B12 is representing the smallest amount, the other way around niacin and vitamin B6 concentration represents the highest amount in goat's milk. From the point of view of Mineral substances, goat's milk is rich in Calcium and Potassium and low in Jodine and Selenium concentration.

The aim of thesis was to analyze the South Bohemian organic dairy production and distribution of organic milk. The thesis focuses on farm production, distribution channels and the application of the regional market. Through the processing of data from the database of the Institute of Agriculture Economics and Information and a questionnaire survey conducted at the level of organic farmers farming in the South Bohemian Region with a valid certificate for the milk production was assessed the development and the current market situation of organic milk production in the South Bohemian Region.
Evaluation of meat production in selected breeding of boer goats

Goat breeding is very suitable agriculture segment for mountain and submontane area and it is becoming more popular recently. Unquestionable advantage of goat breeding is the maintenance of land by depasture. It is useful for hardly accessible locations and for air-raid bushy stand. This work is occupied with evaluation of meat efficiency of representative burn goat breeding. The goal of this work is evaluation of increases and reproductive indicators based on information from last years. In conclusion there are recommended remedies which can result in economic improvement of observed farm.
