The aim of the master thesis is to design nearly zero-energy building of the municipal office in the city of Bojkovice. In the first part an architectural and constructional solution was designed. The building has three above-ground floors. It has a flat green roof with skylights and photovoltaics. First floor includes reception, break room, archives, offices, meeting room, kitchenette, sanitary facilities and boiler room. Second floor consists of break room, archives, storerooms, offices and sanitary facilities. External load-bearing walls, internal load-bearing walls and partitions are made of ceramic blocks. Columns, girders, floor slabs and roof slabs are made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Cladding is insulated with ETICS. In the second part HVAC was designed. Heating is provided by gas condensing boiler. The building is mechanical ventilated by AC units situated in technical room in the third above-ground floor. Cooling is air-conditioned by fan-coil units designed in offices and conference hall, chillers are situated on the roof. The third part of the master thesis focused on design and comparison of various AC units. Drawings are processed in SW AutoCAD, calculations were made in Excel, the design of air-conditioning system and unit was made in SW Atrea DUPLEX 9.10, Aerocad and CLIMACAL.

The access to the walk-up vegetated roof is on the fourth floor. The structural system is a vertical transverse wall support system. The basement is made of monolithic reinforced concrete walls. Subsequent floors are made of ceramic masonry blocks. The internal load-bearing masonry in the above-ground floors is made of acoustic ceramic blocks. The ceilings on each floor are composed of ceramic beams made of ceramic inserts, in the staircase area there is a monolithic reinforced concrete slab. The staircase is monolithic reinforced concrete. The perimeter walls are insulated with the ETICS contact system above ground level. The roofing of the building is provided by vegetated flat roof.
Energy-efficient "Floret" kindergarten building
Hajkr, Radek ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The task of the master project is to design a single-storey kindergarten with flat extetensive green roof in Chvalčov. The building contains entrance hall, utility room, locker rooms, toilets, kitchen, school canteen, staff rooms, storage room and play rooms. The Building is divided into two similar parts. The vertical loadbearing structure is designing from ceramic blocks. The horizontal loadbearing structure is designed from reinforced concrete. The building is heated by a ground source heat pump supplying heat to floor heating. Another source of heat for the preparation of hot water and heat exchanger in the air handling unit is a gas condensing boiler. The heat pump in reverse operation cool the building via Fan-coil units. For air distribution is designed galvanized ducts and air handling units. The building uses photovoltaics to produce electricity for safe environment when using a renewable energy source and safe money when they no need buy energy from elektricity distribudion networks. The designs were elaborated in Revit, autocad and thermal assessment in Deksoft and similation 2018
Apartment building
Mráčková, Kateřina ; Bartošová, Andrea (referee) ; Brukner, Bohuslav (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis with the topic of an apartment building in Dvůr Králové nad Labem prepares project documentation at the level for the construction. The building is located uptown of Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The part of the land is slighly sloped. The main purpose was to create initial, but comfortable living for couples and families. Given the current requirement of the respondent, apartments are designed on the firts floor 1.NP 2×2+KK, on the second floor 2.NP 2×2+KK and 2×3+KK and on the third floor 3.NP we find apartments 2×2+1 and 2×1+KK. It is a rugged house with the main entrance for the part of living from the north side. The building is based on foundation strips made of plain concrete. Vertical load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures are made of ceramic blocks. The whole building is insulated with a contact thermal insulation system. Horizontal structures are reinforced concrete monolithic. The roofing of the building is solved by a single-skin flat roof.
Development of advanced masonry blocks for modern building structures
Novák, Vítězslav ; Stančík,, Hynek (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with improving thermal properties of contemporary ceramic fittings for external walls using built-in thermal insulation. In the practical part, PUR foam and PUR granulate waste mixes were designed. Based on insulation, mechanical and physical properties and estimated price, the best mix was chosen. Using the chosen mix as integrated isolation, the resulting ceramic block was simulated.

The family house with wine cellar
Kovářová, Lucie ; Hrabovský, Kristián (referee) ; Benešová, Romana (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the project documentation of a family house with a commercial space. The building is located on Květinová Street in Pohořelice near Brno. It is a detached house with two above-ground and one underground floor. The main and dominant part with a gable roof is designed as a residential area for housing, complemented by a simple form of wine store with the cellar in a simple form. Both parts are accessible from the street. The house is three-story, with the entrance on the first floor, which includes a shared living area with the gallery above, technical and sanitary facilities, guest amenities, and a wine store with its own entrance and separate operation. The wine store and cellar in the basement are connected by a spiral staircase. The private second floor contains living rooms, bathroom, and access to a terrace. The main structural elements of the building are brick vertical walls made of therm bricks reinforced with reinforced concrete rings, monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling slabs, and a truss wooden roof structure. The stairs are made of steel. The building is founded on reinforced concrete strips, which are stepped down to the level of the basement. The material solution for the surfaces is inspired by the traditional technique of storing wine in wooden barrels with metal hoops. Therefore, the facade of the main structure has wooden cladding the ventilation, and the roofing and facade of the wine bar are made of aluminum composite panels. A lightweight envelope with projecting laminated trusses is designed for the gable part of the house in the garden, providing shading.
