Its theoretical part sums sup of the most important pieces of knowledge concerning municipality functioning and money management . The practical part comprises the analyst of the statue incomes and costs and in the field of money management of municipal property. The results of this work are the proposal for possible solutions and should lead to the improvement of financial situation of the village future years.

Analysis of Economy for Selected Municipalities

This master’s thesis deals with the evaluation of quality of life in Machová. Needs of inhabitants are detected with the help of a questionnaire survey. Partial target is to analyze the economy of selected municipality. The work is divided into three sections. The first section describes the theory of municipal budget and the issue of internal and external environment of Machová. In the second, analytical part of the thesis is presented selected municipality, an analysis of its financial performance for the past seven years and SLEPTE and SWOT analysis. In the third, the proposal part is a questionnaire survey of citizens' satisfaction. The results of the questionnaire and results of analysis is used to formulate proposals to improve the quality of life in Machová and to improve its economy situation.

Evaluation of the Municipality Management of the Community

The diploma thesis deals with the overall evaluation of management of the corporation Lešná, that is based on the usage of the selected financial methods during the period 2007 – 2011. The paper is divided into the several parts. The theoretical part deals with the findings of the management of the corporations located in the Czech Republic and in the practical part, the corporation Lešná is introduced and its revenues and expenditures are analyzed. The suggested proposals are based on the detected weaknesses and lead to improvement of its financial situation in the upcoming years.

Budgetary Process in a Selected Municipality

The bachelor thesis deals with the budgetary process in a selected municipality and focuses on various steps of the process, namely a budget draft, budget discussion and approval, budget fulfilment auditing and final account of the municipality. These steps have been applied to the Municipality of Třebelovice. Each step of the budgetary process is first described at the municipal level in general terms and subsequently char-acterized in greater detail for a specific period of time. The data used in the thesis spans the period from 2014 to 2016. As the budgetary process takes roughly a year and a half, only the year 2014 is fully covered, while only some of the budgetary process steps have been analysed for the years 2015 and 2016. The budgetary process of the Municipality of Třebelovice is consistent with the process described in the theoretical part and complies with applicable laws. The examination of the budgetary process has re-vealed some minor deficiencies, most of them related to comprehensibility and trans-parency of budgeting documents. It is true that most of the budgetary process is gov-erned by legislation, but municipalities are allowed to modify or publish some of the data contained in the documents at their discretion. The thesis therefore proposes adding supplementary comments to and giving simpler names to some items of the pub-lished budget draft, as well as adding charts showing the development of revenues and expenditures to the final account. Furthermore, the work advises publishing budget forecasts, as they contain future planned projects. Last but not least, some of the savings should be invested into higher-yield bank products to make the best possible use of them.

Municipal budget

The bachelor's thesis deals with creation and realization of a local government's budget. The aim of the theoretical part is to present methods of budget creation and principles and rules, which must be observed by budget. The thesis also presents a budget composition, e.g. the sorting system of incomes and expenditures, which is essential for the practical part of the thesis. The practical part deals with budgets of town Říčany in the period of 2008--2013. There is an income-expenditures analysis of respective time period and identification of local government's economy. Further in the text, there is a SWOT analysis of situation in town, that means analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Říčany town. The last part discusses a suggestion for improvement of the budgetary process in the Czech Republic in terms of fulfillment of municipality's development.

Municipal budgetary process

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the budgetary process of municipality Byšice, particularly to evaluate budgetary changes implemented in 2007 - 2012. The work focuses on the number of budgetary changes, the development of budgetary changes during the financial year and also identify items that were frequently changed. At the same time, the work focuses on the transparency of the budgetary changes and budget process as a whole and the impact of weaknesses of legislation on the transparency. Important part is the evaluation how citizens in Byšice are informed about the budget process. Descriptive, analytical method and an interview are used in the thesis.

The budgetary process in small municipalities

The thesis deals with the budgetary process and with the specific situation of small municipalities. The small municipalities are defined to be municipalities with less than one thousand residents, which are not further divided into individual departments. The budgetary process is outlined based on an example of a particular municipality in the region of Karlovy Vary. At the same time some differences compared to the previous development are highlighted as in 2009 the economic position of the local municipalities was affected by the impacts of the financial crisis. Finally, the recommendations are provided both to the particular municipality and to the general approach to the budgetary process as such.
