Structure Of Organic Farming In Moravian-Silesian Region

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the structure of ecological farming production in the Moravian-Silesian Region and in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part describes the issue of organic farming. It contains definition, history, importance, specifics and nonproductive functions. The next section is based on own analysis and databases of the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Information (IAEI) and the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA). It describes the structure of agricultural land use in organic farming in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Results are compared with the structure of the Czech Republic. The analysis monitors plant production (acreage for each crop, the representation of crops and average yields) and livestock production (species and number of animals and the amount of livestock production).
Structure Of Organic Farming In South Bohemia

The diploma study is focused on the analysis of the structure of ecological farming production in South Bohemia. Within the area data was collected from agro and zoo production, to assess the structure and volume of agricultural production and basic benchmarking with bio farming offer on market. For analysis questionnaires were used, direct talks with producers and data from database of ÚZEI. Analysis of the structure of production of bio farming and other farms which shows dominance of permanent grass culture and a smaller part of arable soil. Here is mostly produced cereals and fodder plants. Zoo production is represented by the domination of beef raised without milk production. The comparison on offer from the specialized shops and supermarkets display non compliance of market offer with production.
Structure of bioproduction market in South Bohemia

The intention of the diploma work was the choice of main sorts of bioproduction, charting of the structure of bioproduction in light of origin and detection of sold volume of chosen bio ? food stuff in the South Bohemia. The method - monitoring of the sale in terrain was chosen for charting of the structure of bioproduction. The bioproduction was found out in two types of markets ?markets and markets which are specialized for bio ? food stuff. In the South Bohemia there was chosen 15 markets and 15 markets which are specialized for bio ? food stuff. The structure of bio ? food stuff in light of origin (Czech/import) and in light of volume of sold production was found out in each market. The target bio ? food stuff were beef, grain, dairy products and fruit and vegetable. The data were found out from the packets of bio ? food stuff or through the interview with the chief of the market.
Forms of Distribution of Organic Food

The main purpose of the thesis is the analysis and judgement of distribution methods, which are currently used for organic foods. The first stage involved a marketing research in form of an online questionnaire, which was placed on Google Docs. This questionnaire focused on shopping habits of the customers. The evaluation showed, that the customers most frequently by the organic foods in the self service shops. The second most common place for buying the organic foods were the shops specialised in selling such products, and the third most common place were the suppliers. The most common organic foods bought by the customers were milk and dairy products, the second place belonged to fruits, and on third place were vegetables. The second stage involved a marketing research in form of telephonically enquiring the farmers from the South Bohemian Shire. The results represent the fifty organic farms out of the sixty four contacted organic farms, which responded to the enquiries. The farmers from the South Bohemian Shire most commonly rise cattle. The biggest consumers of their products, with 39 per cent, are processing companies. Selling the meat or live cattle directly at the farm accounts for 32 per cent, and 24 per cent of the products are consumed by distributors. Only 5 per cent of the products is consumed by retailers, which sell the meat directly to consumers. The second most commonly produced commodity is milk and dairy products. According to questionnaire, the entire production is intended for the czech market and the consumption is in average rated as ``commendable{\crqq}, which is greatly affected by Madeta a.s. Other consumers of milk and dairy products are healthy food shops and catering institutions. The individual contributions to the consumption of milk and dairy products are unknown. There are very few producers of organic fruits and vegetables in the South Bohemian Shire, and therefore the marketing research did not produce any useful results regarding these products.
Direct Bioproduction Sale in Selected Locality

The subject of my assignment is the direct sale of bio production. The main subject of my assignment was to find out consumer interest in selling bio products, respectively, for direct sales of bio production. Another objective was to analyze the current status of direct sales of bio production in South Bohemia region. The first point of assignment I have met on the base of consumer research using a questionnaire created in the application Google docs. My research showed that the use of direct purchase is used more women. The most common reason why women don{\crq}t like the direct purchase is little information. Most of the men don{\crq}t use direct purchase, because of lack of time and little information. The interests about direct sale have more woman than men. The main reason of woman why to use direct purchase is that they think that bio products from producer are fresher and trust that bio product is really bio. The most of the men will be interest it in direct sale because of freshness of bio products. The convenience of men is the main reason why they don{\crq}t use direct purchase. Women as a reason for disinterest reported lack of time The second research was focused on South Bohemia ECO farms. In total were asked 64 ECO farms, only 50 take part in. For bio farms engaged in cattle breeding is 32% of sales secured by sales of meat, live animals on the farms or own in shop. In other commodities grown on ECO farms in South Bohemia region have direct sale of their production only two milk companies. In commodities of fruit, cereals, forage legume and potatoes, none of the companies don{\crq}t have direct sale of own production.
