Czech Baroque Art-The Hospital Kuks

The diploma thesis deals with lives and masterpieces of the most important baroque artists and architectures. There are also descriptions of their works. The practical part of the thesis deals with the Kuks' area, the hospitál and spa, its historical, artistic and practical value. Lives of patients and nurses are also mentioned as well as the present-day situation of the Kuks' area and nearby Christian crib. There is a reference to F. A. Špork. He was an important man of that time who supported artists and gave an order for the project of Kuks' area.
Building activities of Johann Christian von Eggenberg and his wife Marie Ernestina on the territory of the Duchy of Krumlov

The topic of this thesis are the building activities of Eggenberg princely couple, which were realized in the territory of the Duchy of Krumlov. The greatest consideration will be dedicated to the main rural residence - the castle Český Krumlov. Other buildings in the region of Český Krumlov will be also mentioned. I will try to explain the motivaton of cliets, who stood in the background of the individual buildings.
Baroque Prague in the context of the tourism industry

The first chapter of the thesis describes importance of the tourism industry to the Czech Republic, focusing on its capital city. The second chapter gives basic list of Prague baroque monuments and its architects. The third chapter analyses the importance of chosen sacral baroque monuments to the tourism industry of Prague. The fourth chapter analyses the importance of chosen profane baroque monuments. The last chapter compares the rates of visitors of chosen architecture monuments in Prague.
