This Bachelor's Thesis describes the Rides of the kings as an example of traditional culture and possibilities of popularization of this custom. Furthermore this thesis describes legislative instruments in the Czech Republic and also international legislative instruments UNESCO, which affect intangible cultural heritage. It compares the form of the Ride of the Kings in four villages -- Vlčnov, Kunovice, Hluk and Skoronice.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the description and characteristics of cultural phenomenon - Slovácko verbuňk, which was as the first monument of intangible cultural heritage of the Czech Republic inscribed on the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. This thesis shows in general the applicable regulations of UNESCO in the field of intangible cultural heritage and their applications for the Czech Republic. In detail the bachelor's thesis devotes to the process of entry in the Representative List of UNESCO and measures and obligations arising from it for the Czech Republic. The practical part provides insight into the current state of presentation and popularization of traditional folk culture in the Slovácko verbuňk example, through interviews with leading experts on the issue of Slovácko verbuňk, evaluation of public opinion and also the bearers of this element of traditional folk culture.

The bachelor thesis examines influence of traditional folk culture on tourism of Slovakia, specifically on tourism of regions Liptov and Abov. It contains ethnological characteristics of both regions as well as characteristics of the products of traditional folk culture. The thesis compares regions according to attendance; it analyzes their strengths and weaknesses and as a result of this analysis, it suggests possibilities of making the regions more attractive
The traditional folk culture as a meaning of revenue for tourism - Central Bohemia Region

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate how the traditional folk culture contributes to the development of tourism in the Central Bohemia. The first part of it focuses on the description of care for this culture in the Czech Republic and UNESCO. Another part of the bachelor thesis is dedicated to ensuring institutional care for traditional folk culture of the Central Bohemia and also the most important attractions, focusing on traditional folk culture in the region, such as open-air museums and folklore festivals. An integral part of the thesis is the evaluation of the benefits of this type of cultural heritage for tourism.
Management and production of recording of folklore ensemble

Main objective of this thesis is to create a sort of guide for a wide range of educated public, which would ensure covering of the financial aspects of projects focused on preserving our intangible cultural heritage. Funding such projects primarily uses subsidies such as grants, whose system is quite administratively demanding, which can be considered a negative, in various cases even demotivating factor in provision of these financial resources. The thesis should therefore provide a detailed description of practical actions set up on theoretical bases of this issue, based on the current state of our traditional culture. Due to the practical output and capabilities of individual methods of processing applications for grants is work on real project essential for model demonstration of how to ensure mentioned financial resources. In this case of the recording of Prácheň folklore music is preservation of intangible cultural heritage and its preservation in subsequent form of music media the key issue and challenge for future direction of both, regional and national culture.
The Cultural Evolution of the Czech Minority in Romanian Banat

The object of this thesis is to provide a complex synthesis of the current situation of the Czech minority in Banat, with focus on local culture and elements which it is effected by. The Czech minority in southern Romania has managed to maintain its nation identity, the Czech language itself and traditional folk culture for almost 200 years. The work maps the historical evolution of this community and reasons why it managed to maintain its tradition folk culture. It also reviews the current situation, focusing on the aid provided by the Czech Republic, expansion of tourism and its possible consequences. It presents current state of the local culture and evaluates its presentation and popularization. It also offers my own suggestions how to improve the presentation of the local culture and it considers the future of the community.

This bachelor's thesis describes, evaluates and compares the attention dedicated to traditional folk culture in the Czech Republic and Slovakia with a focus on folklore. It is based on the basic conceptual materials, treaties and recommendations by UNESCO accepted in both countries. It describes the operation of two prominent folklore groups from Slovakia and the Czech Republic, Lúčnica and Hradišťan. On these two groups, it illustrates the heed paid to traditional folk culture and its popularisation and promotion in media in practice.
The traditional folk culture as a meaning of revenue for the tourist industry

The aim of my thesis is looking at the traditional folk culture and finding its economic potential for tourism. I would like to show there is some interconnection between traditional folk culture and tourism. My work is focused on open air museums. I chose the Wallachian Open-air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm as a representative of succesful cultural organisation. I would like to discover which factors are behind the success of the organisation and to find assets which brings to the tourism of the region of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. I will use every accessible resources.

Diplomová práce se vztahuje k etnografické oblasti Slovácko. Jejím cílem je zjistit, zda kulturní specifika této oblasti (se zaměřením na tradiční lidovou kulturu) mohou skutečně být zdrojem regionálního rozvoje. Obsahuje vymezení území Slovácka z různých hledisek a také přibližuje jeho nejvýznamnější kulturní potenciál. Práce dále vysvětluje dosažitelnost regionálního rozvoje území prostřednictvím rozvoje cestovního ruchu, kde vychází ze statistických dat a marketingových šetření nabídky a poptávky cestovního ruchu. Zabývá se také problematikou realizace projektů spolufinancovaných z fondů EU na území Slovácka, které vedou k zachování kulturních specifik, ke zvýšení atraktivnosti území a jeho následnému rozvoji.
