The Historic Building Materials and Technologies and their Application in Technical Education at the Second Level of Primary School

This theses is focusing on history of a building materials and technological processes in a chosen building objects in Czech Republic. These building object are build in the program of the secondary level of elementary school as a projects or excursions. In the theoretical part of the theses we are focusing on technical education and its application in teaching. Then we direct the focus to technical education, technical literacy and framework education programs in the field of technical education and history. The last part of this theses is a brief description of the selected buildings that are in our interest in Czech Republic. In the practical part of the theses are created individual excursions and projects for teaching at the second level of elementary school Part of the excursion for teachers is base information with final evaluation. In the attachment are worksheets and maps of the individual excursions.
Practical Activities as a Space of Development of Ecological Thinking of the Pupils of the Primary School

This diploma thesis deals with the development of ecological thinking of the pupils of the primary school under the project teaching within the subject called Practical Activity at elementary schools. The thesis contains ten projects; six of them were put into practice. The first part of the thesis includes theoretical knowledge derived from specialized literature. The theoretical part describes the topics of project teaching, activation teaching methods and technical and ecological education. The second part of the thesis depicts particular projects from the practical point of view. Photographical documentation and reflection from the projects, which were taught, form a part of the practical section of the thesis.
The Technical Monuments in České Budějovice Region And How to Use Them in Primary School Education

This diploma thesis is focuses on using technical monuments in České Budějovice region in primary school education. The theoretical part mentions the main principals, aims and the possibilities of using of project teaching methods in primary school. This thesis also deals with the technical education and the acquiring of the primary technical literacy. The final part of theoretical part describes technical monuments which were used in processed projects. The practical part of this thesis present 7 projects, which can be used in primary education. The part of thesis is also the evaluation of the research among teachers about the effectiveness of projects.
Ceramics for the First Grade of Primary School

At the beginning of the theoretical part the objects and tasks of the theses are defined. There are also described the teaching methods of project teaching at the primary schools. History of ceramics from all over the world from the Neolithic period is an integral part of the theoretical part. The forming techniques, modeling, glazing and burning techniques are described as well. In the practical part ten ceramics themes to the project teaching at the first grade of primary school are designed. There is a didactic documentation for teachers for each theme.
The Technical Monuments in Týn nad Vltavou Region And How to Use Them in Primary School Education

This master thesis focuses on technical monuments in Tyn nad Vltavou region and their use in primary school education. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the technical education and the excursion method and their use at primary school. It also deals with the characteristics of technical monuments, their categorization and the ways of their preservation. The end of the theoretical part focuses on the description of selected technical monuments in Tyn nad Vltavou region. The practical part of the thesis introduces seven proposed excursions to selected technical monuments, which are intended for pupils of the first grade of primary school. The effectivity of the proposed excursions is verified at the end of the practical part by a survey research.
Analysis of selected pre-concepts of technical education of 5. classes of primary school

TITLE: Analysis of selected pre-concepts of technical education of 5. classes of primary school SUMMARY: The thesis focuses on the issues and the consecutive diagnostics of chosen drafts to technical education at primary schools. A few thematic units are analysed in the opening theoretical part. They focus on questions of constructivist approach, their resources and related pre-concepts and also taxonomy of fundamental fields in technical education. In the second, practical part of the thesis, an actual level of preconcepts structuring while using a questionarry is taken. Its content is unfinished sentences, assessment scales and cognitive maps. Research included 302 respondents from the 5th grades of primary schools. Owing to the questionnary method and cognitive maps, there were preconcept data established. This information was consequently processed in terms of quantity and quality. The subject of the investigation were preconcepts: wood, hand brake, gluing, cutting, strength, flexibility, material recycling, safety at work. The preconceptions cutting, flexibility, material recycling and safety at work was found inadequate incorporation students in cognitive maps. The realised research tries to lighten the practical realisation of the educational process of technical education at primary school level.
Project and problem method and their application at technical education at basic schools

This diploma work present how to use project and problem method practically in preparing students of basic of technology. It shows how to increase activity and productivity of students by right focus of the problem. The aims of the work are: - to map starting points which may result advantage of project and problem methods as a means of effective technical education - to verify the supposition that these methods also positively influence the pupils' attitudes and relation to taught technical subject and to the process of education itself. - supposing the usage of such methods deals to increasing of pupils' creativity The pre-set hypothesis have been verified by means of the research carried out at the basic schools in the subject "Basic of Technology" and the obtained results are presented in this work. The Diploma Thesis is focused on the technical monuments in Křivoklátsko region which are used in the education at primary school via educational excursions. The theoretical part of my Diploma Thesis concentrates on the technical education and its position at primary school. It also concerns the technical monuments, their typology, protection, and the declaration of the monuments as technical monuments of Křivoklátsko. The final part is dedicated to ten technical monuments in Křivoklátsko. The practical part of my Diploma Thesis contains particular educational excursions to the chosen technical monuments which are aimed to the education at primary school. The information background for teachers is the part of each educational excursion. The final section of the practical part is focused on the indicative verification of use of the educational excursions at primary school.
The Technical Monuments And How to Use Them in Second Primary School Education

The thesis is focused on technical monuments in South Bohemia. Selected monuments are applied in lower secondary school teaching by means of excursions and projects. The theoretical part deals with the project teaching and its use in education. Subsequently the attention is paid to technical education, technological literacy and their roles in lower secondary schools. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with technical monuments, their official status and typology. The final section is devoted to selected technical monuments and attractions, which are briefly described. Individual excursions and projects for teaching in lower secondary schools are developed in the practical part of the thesis. The information base for teachers and expansion options of individual excursions to other objects are also included in excursions and projects. The supplement of the thesis includes maps and other documents for successful realisation of excursions or projects.
Project practical activity like place for progresing of factores of creativity of schoolchild in primary school

My dissertation deals with the contribution of practical activities as scope for the factors developing creativity of primary school pupils. Firstly, the definitions of the terms creativity, technical education and project teaching, based on specialised literature, are introduced. These three theoretical spheres focus in detail on the creative process and product, creative factors, convergent and divergent thinking skills, the creative person and the methods that help develop his or her creativity. I try to clarify the technique as a means of development of practical activities. After that I deal with the educational area "Man and the World of Work" and present possible topics for the development of creativity in working education. My thesis demonstrates a project together with its types and focuses on the implementation and benefits of project-based learning. The practical part is focused on the development of individual projects. Fifteen individual projects, helping to develop creativity of pupils at primary schools, were offered to twenty-one teachers. These teachers participated in a questionnaire survey and they were given an opportunity to provide feedback on the above mentioned individual projects. The results of the survey are described in the sixth chapter of this thesis.
