Step-up inverter for notebook supplying from car network
Španěl, Petr ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Hejkrlík, Jan (advisor)
This disertation deals with questions of DC/DC step-up converters for power supply of notebooks in the car networks. And then it solves the design of the sufficient sized converter for power supply of the current notebooks.
Models of switching power supplies in MATLAB-Simulink
Procházka, David ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the issue of models of switching power supplies. The first part describes the principle of switching power supplies. The second part is devoted to the design of the drive parameters and appropriate regulatory circuit. The last section is devoted to developing models of switching power supply in the MATLAB using the Simulink block Power system.
Laboratory tool with power supplies
Grufík, Adam ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this work is to become familiar with different kinds of commonly used power supplies, measure and compare their properties and then design laboratory teaching board with multiple supplies. The designed instrument can be used for educational purposes and as a demonstration in the field of voltage sources.
Educational tool with power supplies
Junasová, Veronika ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work deals with design and realization of board with numerous power supplies. It includes linear power supply, switching supply without inductor, switching supply with inductor using step-up and step-down converter. The board allows to choose between various output voltages, several input filters, output filters, loads and it enables to measure the temperature of used power supplies. It can be used for education and practical demonstration of basic properties, advantages and disadvantages of these supplies. Part of the thesis is a description of power supplies for low voltages, design of educational board and demonstration of results.
Models of DC transistor converters in Simulink program
Loup, Martin ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
The master’s thesis is focused on the creation of models of DC/DC converters and control program for input parameters and their configuration. The first part is theoretical and she is dedicated to the description of the program Matlab. The second chapter is dedicated to DC/DC converters. Their function is described there and the necessary equations for the design are derived. All of this is complemented by the calculation of line losses in semiconductor elements and the design of voltage and current regulator. The last two parts deal with the description of the created models in Simulink and control program in a graphical environment. The created program is able to edit and recalculate parameters of the converters, calculate line losses on semiconductor components, perform a model simulation or open it.
LED bicycle lights
Čmelík, Matouš ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
In semester thesis i project bicycle lighting using LEDs that are powered from the alternator. The LEDs are powered also from battery, that is recharged while driving and when you stop it enable uninterrupted lighting. The concept is designed so that the final price is as low as possible. All things is designed to insert to the existing bicycle lightint on Eska or Favorit bicycle. The use of inverters ensures high efficienty of the whole concept. Using LEDs compare to standart solutions with bulbs is more efficienty to.

Exercise bicycle for accumulator charging
Nekvapil, Jan ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is about possible solution construction of exercise bicycle with electric part working as a electric source. The first part of document introduces readers to issues about lead acid accumulators and charging, electronically commutated motors and electric converters. The second part shows potential solving constitution of exercise bicycle and we choose components and devices. EC motor will be connected with exercise bicycle by chain transmission. Transfer energy is realized through diodes rectifier to DC-circuit and then by boost converter to two lead-acid accumulators in series. Document show possible solutions of electric schema and circuit board with suitable electronic components. At the end of the document is compared existing similar products.
Small DC/DC step-up converter
Koncer, Adam ; Feiler, Zdeněk (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the proposal and realisation of the small DC/DC pulse converter. First of all I going to focus on teoretical facts and explanation of function and deviding of DC/DC pulse converters. As a next step I going to designing of DC/DC step - up pulse converter 6/12V, 50W, selecting efficient component and construction of whole converter. Trial test will be performed on the final product.
Optimization of the active load of the source with dynamic output parameters
Halama, Petr ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Jirků, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with Power Factor Correction circuit, meant for the adjustment of the non-linear power source. Usually the PFC is designed for the power levels in the range of tens of Watts and more. New circuit will work at the power levels of maximally 1 W. Such control algorithm was designed, that the circuit represents the constant real load for an energy source. In the beginning of the work the Step-up converter topology was chosen as the best for next solution. More active PFC types were reviewed with the help of PSPICE simulator. In the next part of this project two of the analyzed circuits were implemented. Basic PFC for the demonstration of its principle and the half-bridge topology, which was selected on the basis of the analysis results.
